Well... It’s a combination of things... looks, is what people use to visually “pass”, as white, and obtain acceptance into whiteness. But, in addition to skin color (specifically in America) being “white”, was about specifically being a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant. Any group outside of that obtained major discrimination, to include Jews, The Irish, and the Italian immigrants. However, through social integration, last name changes to create new identities, mixing in procreation, and literally physical alterations (nose jobs, etc.) through the generations, many of these ethnics, merged into official whiteness and became part of the white race. In current times, history is somewhat repeating itself, as we see similarities with Latinos. Many Latinos shocked the world when voting for Trump, and being staunch republicans. Many Latinos identify as “white” (or at least “white Latinos”) , in national census statistics. Combine that with interracial breeding and mixing, they are working steadfastly to become the next grouping of ethnics, to join official whiteness.

This is a deeper, yet eye opening topic, that goes further into to controversial topic race, specifically how the idea of race has changed over the years, where being “white”, meant something very specific, and a lot of people who are considered to be “white” now, weren’t always.....

In the search, type in “Ivo at Rev*ve”, and a thread about him, and similar DC masseurs will come up. From what I’ve gathered: 1.) excellent therapeutic massage 2.) no sensual elements or extras. 3.) You’ll always anticipate more but never get it Traditional “blue-ball” special.

What's a question you absolutely hate being asked?

Well Unicorn, Guess what? We’re having a very engaging conversation, and are able to see each other’s way of thinking, and we didn’t have to ask each other any of those questions.... ? We didn’t need to define each other’s educational, career, or socio-economic “status”, to exchange ideas. The truth is that none of us don’t. -

I don’t think we’re offended, but we understand the principle behind many of these questions. In a store shopping scenario, I’d prefer “How may I help you?”, rather than “What are you looking for?”. The tone, intent, and connotation behind both questions are totally different. -

Well.... I can hold a conversation with someone for the first time meeting them, and not asking them any of these questions. I allow things about a person to be revealed organically. I find that asking a battery of personal questions in an initial conversation is somewhat disingenuous, as many people use this as a way of evaluating a person’s “value”, “use”, or potential benefit. In most social situations, I start conversations by either an observatory compliment or something else, but never a battery of questions. -

I personally hate those guestions regarding “what you do” sexually. Why? Just because I may like to do those things, doesn’t indicate that I’m going to do those things TO YOU... ☺️ -

I also hate intrusive “introductory” questions in social settings by complete strangers: “what do you do”? “Where do you live?” “where did you go to school?”. I always lie, and give the worst possible answers to these questions... as I feel like such things should be revealed organically in a conversation that’s actually an exchange of thoughts, and ideas. I’ve always found people who ask these questions are trying to piece together an “idea”, of what kind of person you are, based on superficial factors that have nothing to do with depth, or character. Very vapid -

Would you walk up to a guy in a bar, and before even introducing yourself, just say to a complete stranger: “What are you looking for?” Because that’s what guys regularly do online. People “window shop” online, just like a shopper would in a store. No specific intention, but when they find that right item, they know it, and they purchase it. Now imagine walking into a store, and as soon as you get in, the sales person is asking “what are you looking for?” See how bad it comes off? -

This is why I respectfully disagree with you.... 1.) Most people’s profiles on apps already answer those basic questions, regarding to sexual preferences. 2.) The “what are you looking for”, question is deceptive in nature, as it releives the asker of truly “putting himself out there” authentically. If the said person then tell him what he’s looking for, the asker then has the advantage of then attempting to obtaining (faking), those traits, just to get the person. 3.) In the end, that question actually cheats the asker, and causes him to lose quite a few missed opportunities, as some people don’t specifically know what they’re looking for, and it could have been him, if he just found a more authentic way of breaking the ice, rather than putting the person up against the wall, with such a cornering question. Further, whether it’s an app or any other form of interactions.... we are dealing with PEOPLE. And the idea that dating/hookup apps should give one the mindset, that they are ordering off of the Dollar Menu, is why so many sexual experiences for many these days, are dry, transactional, lacking in depth and full satisfaction. My best sexual experiences involved flirtation, innuendo, suggestion, and the excitement, anticipation, and element of surprise as to what’s next. The metaphysical chemistry. My worst, were from apps, where some thirsty tramp online asked me “what I’m looking for”, and asked me a battery of robotic questions, with the expectation of a “microwave” hookup, ending with his lubed ass spread on the edge of a half-made bed. lame, unsatisfying, and I could have had a V-8. -
Agreed!!! I tend to avoid the Instagram-model-looking “hot”, guys who places ads on sites like rentmasseur, etc. It’s almost as if I can see the scam coming a mile away.

I hope you post this same message on other threads. Too many guys are getting snookered, because they are wooed by a “hot” body, all to get their money taken by a slickster with no massage skills and no intent on providing a legitimate service.

Unfortunately there’s a cycle of urban development with big towns that usually doesn’t last forever (so enjoy it when it’s at its peak): First: Areas start fresh from decay and delapidation Second: The Gays come in and (out of bravery) invest and initiate revitalization, making the area “hip”, and “trendy”. Third: The bland yuppies come in, then big-box businessses, and the gays leave (cash out from what they have smartly invested) the area becomes “good”, but loses its authenticity, and looks like every other over-developed city.... housing prices skyrocket. I live in DC and have seen this occur in various “gayborhoods” over the years.

I hate the preface to a question... “Can I ask you a question?” I’m most cases, it’s a question they have no damn business asking! -

The last guy who was impatient and tried to ram it up my ass was quite a character. I immediately shoved him off of me, put on my clothes and went home. Unfortunately, you’re right. From experiences with awkward dating/mating experiences with “regular” guys, my overall sense of reality has been warped by a combination of porn (where perfect, mind-blowing sex always occurs), toys (fleshlights: prostate stimulators), and hiring masseurs, that I’ve reached a point where I’ve damned near cut out dating and entertaining regular men all together. I’ve found more “success”, in either pleasing myself, or hiring, as what I envision as good sex or great sensorial physical encounters always leave me thoroughly satisfied. With regular guys, there’s almost always some weird issue, conundrum, or kerfuffle, that just ruins it for me.
