  1. Real life: sing, speak foreign languages and count cards playing blackjack. Fantasy: mind control, Wolverine's healing ability and invisibility
  2. Never. If I shave completely, my face still passes for teenager.

  4. There used be a small, and I mean small, kids amusement park near me that had arcade and pinball games I never found anywhere else. Most of the stuff was very old. I was into retro things even as a kid. I miss that place. Also summers at my family's farm in upstate NY. We played tons of games half of which we invented. Plus the farm was around the corner from the Woodstock site so we get to see all the hippies return year after year before the property was sold. And definitely summer camp.

  6. There's a place in Philly called Shane's Confectionery that still weighs their candy that way. It's a cool place as is the old-fashioned soda fountain a couple of doors down.

  8. Two things. One, he never mentions whether or not he spent time at the indoor events at COVID Barrett announcement; and two, he could have gotten the virus at debate prep sessions. I find much more likely he got it at either one of those places than in the Rose Garden.
  9. According to what I was told, it was porn actor. Not sure if they were also a provider.
  10. My new aids have this feature but only with Apple products which sucks as I am an Android user. Thankfully, my sister got an ipad from work that she lets me use. Noisy rooms still give me issues even when I switch to that setting. I just go back to what I did with my analogs and lower the volume. Since people are usually speaking a little louder, lowering the volume decreases the background pickup. My favorite feature of my aids is the t switch. A lot of theaters are installing t coils and I no longer have to get the infrared devices since it will stream right into my aids.
  11. Both agencies operate almost outside the law, imo. ICE is usually tasked with finding people subject to deportation that are in the US. CBP is supposed to only be involved in issues solely at the border, which is 100 miles of a land border or the shoreline, but the CBP claims that all international airports are "borders" and thus the 100 mile zone applies there. Roughly two out of every three people in US live in the actual border zone including the entire state of Florida. I guess someone wanted to eliminate their competition; but yeah, it was a total dick move.
  12. I have eaten alone almost everywhere I have traveled whether I was traveling alone or not. I never feel self-conscious because I couldn't care less what other people think. I can be alone with my thoughts, catch up in news or play a game on my phone.
  13. I hope us meeting up will be one of those good things in 2021. ?
  14. As of right now, there has not been any talk of when theatres will reopen. Most museums are open under strict capacity limits and another COVID precautions.
  15. I'd avoid DC for the foreseeable future. Security has been increased immensely especially around the Mall and Capitol Hill.
  16. I have watched this clip at least 10 times and it always fascinates me. The fact that he was able to live long enough to appear on television and the kinescope of the episode survived allows for everyone to vicariously experience a monumental moment in American history.
  17. If I don't have alone time at least part of a day, I'm very unpleasant to be around. When I went to London and stayed with a friend, I told him specifically I would need a day to myself at some point. He got really worried when I was gone for about 10 hours. I did text him a couple of times throughout the day to keep him updated.
  18. You usually have to apply months in advance. Most shows have a cancellation line but you need to get there very early. I got primo seats for Hello Dolly! with Bette Midler waiting on the cancellation line. For SNL, I had a connection that got me the seats.
  19. I was in the audience for that week of SNL. Seeing Vanessa Williams and Pavarotti live as the musical guests was an extra treat.
  20. The reason it felt awkward was he was the first escort I reached out to ever and that was after reading this site for awhile so it wasn't something I was expecting. Nevertheless, I had fantastic experience. Another reason is when I was younger, I gave myself a nickname that I only used in certain settings. Only a select few people in those settings knew my real name to the point where some people actually believed my nickname was my real name and almost no one outside of those settings knew I had a nickname. It was as if I had two distinct lives. Even to this day, the people from that circle still use my nickname instead of my real name when referring to me and I as well when I am talking with them. Because of this, it's easy for me to be emotionally intimate with people I find to be honest about themselves in all aspects outside of their name. A name to me is little more than a signifier. What's behind the name is the important part.
  21. I had one escort tell me his real name within a couple of emails of me reaching out to set up a session. It felt awkward at first, but if it made him comfortable, that's his call. Otherwise, I don't know anyone else's nor do do I care. As long as the name you want me to use is something I can pronounce, I'm good. And no, I would never tell someone I found their real name online unless that question specifically was brought up by them.
  22. I have seen South Pacific (Matthew Morrison as Cable), Spring Awakening, Chicago (lots of shirtless men), a version of Present Laughter where the young male playwright in love with Garry is nude on stage, Priscilla Queen of the Desert. This doesn't include countless shows with men naked from the waist up for large portions of shows. I'm sure I'm missing quite a few.
  23. I wonder if there is video evidence of this.
  24. I think this depends on the situation. I tend to like to book things in advance, even far in advance, especially if I have to plan a trip since it gives me the ability to get good rates on flights and hotels. I contacted a guy who lives in London in June 2019 to set something up for either around Thanksgiving or late August/early September depending on the schedule of the people I would be staying with and he had no issues with it. I think it helped that, even though I was staying in London longer, the main purpose of my trip was to see him. After that session went very well, I asked last October if he would be willing to schedule a session for this past August for a multi-day session to correspond with my birthday. Again, he had no issues and we arranged everything. Unfortunately, the pandemic happened so we postponed it. Whenever I am comfortable traveling again, I probably will schedule something with him in a more immediate timeframe just because who knows what might happen. I hoping it will be for my birthday but I may just have to pretend it's my birthday if this pandemic lasts past August again. Only once did I see someone within a day of contact because he messaged me out of the blue and it was someone I had been trying to see for two years. Not hard to realize I'm not a spontaneous person.
  25. Interesting as every counterfeit bill I have ever come across was a 20.
