So sorry to hear.

Taking on areas that shouldn't be under the CDC especially things that are already covered by other agencies is really dumb. There's a whole Cabinet level agency devoted to transportation for one. Unfortunately needlessly repetitive laws are the norm. Now there is a call for a domestic terrorism law when there are enough other laws already on the books that cover those crimes. Something bad happens, people call for a new law. Maybe the goal should be applying the law equally to all so those crimes are actually prosecuted instead of just writing a new law that always seems to come with unintended consequences.

My response was specifically about which schedule C code I would use for an escort if I were doing their taxes. Nothing more, nothing less. If you don't think there aren't people licensed to do certain occupations not reporting their income, you would be wrong.
-
There are a few. If I were doing an escort's return, I'd use 812990-all other personal services. 812190-all other personal care services or if they are a licensed massage therapist, 621610-home health care services are also acceptable.

The reason the CDC was wrong so many times was because of political influence from the previous guy's administration interfering with the professionals there. No different than every other agency of he attempted to destroy.

Entertainment 'geniuses' that didn't entertain you at all

Yeah, definitely agree on Bob Hope. Never understood why anyone liked him. -
I'm super sad I never got to meet you. I wish you well. Maybe our paths will cross in some way in the future.

For some reason he let his ad expire, but he's my current favorite though another is certainly a real close second. https://rentmen.eu/GabrielCross. He's going to be on a podcast about disability and sex. Anyone who cares enough to talk about that subject, especially someone who isn't disabled, gets huge brownie points from me.

What's a question you absolutely hate being asked?

I always answer this with "nothing important." -
I do love how you ended this post making sure to tell us he paid for lunch. Lol

This is me as well. If I don't get daily alone time, I'm not someone anyone wants to be around. There are certain people who would swear to their dying day I am a rambunctious extrovert though. To be fair to them, one point in my life I created a new persona for myself and gave myself a nickname. Since they only knew me while I was being this persona, they didn't know my true nature. The nickname has remained while the persona has been put to bed. Most people in my life have no idea I ever did this, so they would be shocked to know I did.

What Was Your Family's Policy on Alcohol Consumption When You Were a Child?
Islesguy replied to rvwnsd's topic in The Lounge
I never saw my father drink so I was never sure if he ever did. My mother has always hated the taste of alcohol so she never drank. My sister and I were allowed to drink on holidays. I didn't drink anything besides wine (hate beer) until I was in college when I started some heavier stuff, mostly different types of whiskeys and cordials. I've since added gin cocktails to my repertoire. I've only been drunk once when I was served large cannolis laced with some sort of liquor in a restaurant while underage. They didn't tell me it had alcohol in it and didn't card me. Didn't enjoy the hangover the next morning so I make sure never to reach that point. My sister, otoh, went to a party school and was a major binge drinker for a long time. She's cut back her drinking so much in the last few years, she can't tolerate it as much. Funny how that works. -
I only pay cash. As a client, I don't want a paper trail.

When did I say I was ever rude to a store employee? I can hate being asked something without being rude to someone. I do understand what common courtesy is. Quite a leap you are taking. -

I absolutely hate when within minutes of walking into a store someone comes up to me and asks, "What are you looking for?" If I need help, I will find someone and ask at that point. -
This reminds of an experience I had with someone I hired. I'm a notorious sweater especially arm pits even in the winter when I walk a bit. I hired a guy right before I locked myself in last year. Had to walk from The Bowery station to near Ferrara's bakery to his hotel. Barely sweated at all. Found out during the session he likes a sweaty guy. Of all the days I didn't sweat much, it had to be that one. ?

What is something that you miss from your childhood?

I own a couple of these. One is probably at least 10 years older than I am. One of the inserts I have is opening day of Disney World in 72. -
I have no experience with him, but I do know he has wrestled in the Gay Games. I always thought he was gay because of that. Cameron, otoh, I would have loved to hire for a romp in the sack.

Anytime someone says "to make a long story short," I always reply with the great Clue quote: "Too late!"

Yes. Please stop beginning an answer with "that's a great question." Congressman Lieu does it for the first question in every interview. Ugh.
