What I don't get is, why be overly deferential or courteous to assholes? You should go and sit wherever you want to. That is my issue with your posts as a fellow Asian guy. Why give them the satisfaction?

Unfortunately they don’t have to. The masseurs on MF and M4M get a large portion of clients based on their looks alone. They also probably see a large number of businessmen/visitors who don’t repeat.

If you didn’t have a college degree but I offered you a job to make $100-$150 per hour, would you go out of your way to go to college?

Well I did read your comment, and you called me out by screen name for whatever reason. No one is denying that racism exists in all kinds of spaces or "taking back" support. My issue has always been your reaction to slights both real and perceived. I will NEVER understand why you would play into the "derential" Asian stereotype. As for going to various venues with other gays present....If I'm paying, I'm going to sit my ass wherever the hell I want. Why do you care if you are labelled a "creeper" if you aren't doing anything creepy? If you live your life to accommodate everyone else's prejudice, then you've already been defeated. I will never stoop to that level, ever. If I'm not doing anything wrong, I will not apologize for not doing anything. That's silly. It seems you can't comprehend that point.

Did he say "no asians" or is it your impression that each time a guy doesn't want to play with you it's because you're Asian? I mean I find Asians sexy but some are unattractive or not my type. Am I racist if I don't want to play with EVERY Asian? Sometimes what you got is not what somebody wants. It happens.

Point taken. Well I guess it's time to get a burner phone number for all future interactions with masseurs. Fake name, cash only, burner number, no personal information, and most definitely never do a session at your house.

A stranger scowled in your direction from his car and so you have concluded that he isn’t into Asian guys and “grudgingly works with Asian clients”? That’s absurdly illogical to say the least.

So I took one for the team. The pics were just so incredibly hot that I threw caution to the wind, and actually I'm glad I did. I probably won't do a full review (I'll explain), but I hope I'm not out of line if I say that the pics are definitely not his, but he is easy on the eyes and I'd probably go back. And he's very sweet. Fake pics but I wouldn't use the word scam.

It's primarily because the pics aren't his that I don't want to do a review. Some--okay many--people just aren't okay with a masseur using someone else's pics, and the reasons for that are obvious. If I do an official review I'll have to state that the pics aren't real, and the review will end up being negative. I have a slightly more lenient attitude about the pics issue though: if Hertz promises me a Benz but I get a Jaguar instead (did actually happen to me) I can live with that; at least I still have XM radio and a nice car. If I've booked a Benz and I get a Kia, well then I'm not so happy. I can certainly understand why some masseurs (and escorts) are reluctant to use their real pics. I'm actually still seeing a masseur regularly who sent me someone else's pics in the beginning; he didn't look like the pic but he was still hot.

If anyone wants more info please PM me and I'll send as many details as I'm comfortable sending.

Did a little looking around the WWW and found photos of him doing bodybuilding contests all over the US. Also schooling in MA and photos of him with an asian girl... one kissing on the lips (but who knows if it was photo shoot or what)

Now I am super interested - haha - those who saw him :
    1) did you get the vibe he was gay?
    2) were there extras - cause the rentmassage says Therapeutic/ Sensual/ Erotic

This thread is better then the NationEnquirer ((:

FWIW...Drained Empty is unfortunately very correct here. I grew up in LA and the discrimination against Asians was more prevalent than against blacks.

That said, I think it is important to reveal everything about yourself that might be an issue with the escort. Communication is the key to any successful hire. If someone is going to be rejected because of ethnicity, I think that it should be done long before the door opens. Racism and bigotry is a fact of our society, I would much rather the subject be discussed before hand, to avoid any uncomfortable face to face meeting. Rejection from anyone is a terrible thing to go through, whether it is age, weight, race, or political views (yes that can be an issue also) I'm all for minimizing it at the earliest possible moment.

What happened with your masseur is terrible, Glee. That's my worst fear. You can just tell on someone's face when they're disgusted by your race. It's one of the worst feelings in the world.

Ironically, it's their problem and not ours. If they're truly professional they should work with clients of all shapes, sizes and colors, especially if they are masseurs and their bodywork is meant to be therapeutic.

I can understand if a client has open sores or a skin condition that could pose health risks, but being Asian is NOT a disease, even though some treat it as such. The entire energy changes and you put the blame on yourself.

I've come to accept social rejection based on my race, and now business (because that's what massage or escort service is) rejection as well.

It's a sad and depressing reality, but one that I can't change. I will continue to disclose my race, but only after the rate is stated so they can't raise it. And if they close a door in my face or don't touch me, so be it.

The masseur who allegedly doesn't like Asian clients is Grant (formerly Taylor) in Weho, according to his thread.

It creates an impression. Someone viewing an ad again and again without ever reaching out might appear obsessive to the advertiser. It's just plain silly not to reach out if you're interested in a guy. Even the most socially phobic should be up to an anonymous email saying "hi, I like your profile," or something like.
