But to Colton’s point …. Why ? If you’ve already met (and loved)
Well.. 1. I had never “bumped” before. 2. To see if there was any new info. Simple. 🤷🏽♂️

Didn't you already meet him @BonVivant? Not sure why you are bumping the thread.
One apparently “Bumps” to put the thread back up to the top to see if anyone has any new info. As per the Lounge thread on the very same topic. And it worked. Yay.

What’s he going to say?…."No one wants to hire my super smooth schnitzel hole?"
The illusion of demand is key to getting a price above market value.
Lol. Exactly. It’s a free market and he will get whatever he can command.

Why do folks reply with “bump”? What does it mean? Are people saying “I pass” or “I’m not interested” or “I don’t like”?? Just curious. If that’s the case, why say anything at all? Please enlighten me. Thanks.

Amazing guy. Very friendly. Just like his pictures. DM for details.

Lots of guys are “Forever 24!” But if they can get away with it…… ?!?
and as for Dima always enjoyed meeting up with him… haven’t seen him in a few years though.

I agree with you @Reisr30 as I’ve had similar experiences.
Some 12 years ago, I was having a sustained fling with a hot young actor in LA and we often went out for dinner. He was then half my age yet we never had a negative reaction. Sometimes we got smiles from other men when eating out in West Hollywood, and so he would make a definite point of picking up the check; I tried to look like a kept man.
But in Manhattan there were looks. Perhaps it is just curiosity. I don’t recall us being the object of comment as we both dress quite smartly for dinner. I do recall one time on the UES when at a table not far from us, a man in his 60s was entertaining a twink in his early 20s; that table did excite quite a bit of comment and I felt sorry for them as the young man looked embarrassed.
people are jealous and judgmental of Autumn-spring pairings. But I think a male-female pairing attracts less attention then male-male. It’s very misogynistic but folks accept That successful str8 men can have trophy women. But not men. Society isn’t used to it.
just have to have thick skin.

Oh I’ve definitely done the CK “take my Purty Boi on a public stroll”. It’s a lot of fun don’t get me wrong!! l LOVE Especially watching all the Mom’s eyes bulge ? in horror And all the pearl clutching. ? ? ?. Luv it. BUT to make it work the Boi needs thick skin and nerves of steel. Plus he needs to keep his objective in mind…… whahahahahah. Evil ? laugh.

I too have read countless stories on the internet and personal stories from acquaintances who go to countries like Brazil, Morocco, Thailand, the Philippines etc looking for "love'' or thinking the boys actually care about them. The harsh reality is that we want sex and the boys in saunas, go go bars etc want money, and as much as they can get.
I have a friend who has 4 university degrees (including a PhD) who met a boy in Morocco about 15 years ago. He has paid for his education, health, rent and ad hoc amounts for every conceivable reason. Along with all his local friends I am gobsmacked at his gullibility. The individual known as Trilingual who set up the Gay Travel Brazil website I have read on BoyToy came to grief after marrying his Brazilian boyfriend and if these reports are to be believed is virtually destitute.
At least one story I read on the now very quiet Cruising for Sex site some years ago was very amusing. This American met a go go boy in Pattaya, Thailand. The boy invited him to the family home in the countryside. On arrival mother announced that her refrigerator had broken down and it would cost the equivalent of a couple of hundred dollars to replace it and would he oblige. He agreed. The boy told him he would write his name in texta on the side of the refrigerator to remind him of their ''love''. He found himself alone in the house and discovered the name of a foreigner on the side of the stove, microwave, TV and every other electrical appliance and stick of furniture in the house. I sent him a PM telling I found the story delightful and he had made my day. He replied back assuring me it was true. I replied back telling him I didn't doubt it for a moment. I have been to Thailand about a dozen times and that story was pure unadulterated Thai.
I must confess to being rather cynical about ''love'' but on balance I think it is better to be cynical than conned, or worse have your heart broken.
There is great Truth and Wisdom to these stories. It applies to all situations where there is no match between the partners other than sex and money. It applies not just to First World-Third World dalliances but to all worlds. I can add my own experiences but you have given plenty of examples.

Thank you. I thought we lost it. Suggestion and only a suggestion: what if we made it a non- profit membership? We could divide the annual cost/members. etc.

Well, if it helps, the Dharmic religions don’t have a negative view of pleasure (“Kama”). It is one of the 4 goals of a good life. And as long as all is consensual then it is karmically ok.

i was responding to another who mentioned he was in Columbus not LA
are you the forum arbiter of relevance ?
No. I was asking in the context of place of origin. Not travel.

Also re his rate. It is his rate. Either you can handle it or you can’t. If you can’t, move on. Inflation is a bitch! (Both monetarily and life style wise). If you are stuck on a fixed income without increases to account for inflation then that’s too bad. A young man like him can command a high rate for only so long. He might as well as capitalize on it. God Bless Amerikuh!

Oh trust me I value my own experiences highly. And one’s own experiences can be different from another’s.
