This site and this community is a testament to the soul of Guy Fawkes, a man I never met but felt like I knew and had a kinship with. He was obviously a big hearted man to give all of the time energy and heart and soul he put into this community. He was also a thoughtfully rebellious soul, willing to take personal risk to challenge injustice...right up to the line. And he fought for the underdogs, this community here just trying to live our harmless truth without judgement or persecution. This loss comes at the end of a year we have all experienced so much loss, its' magnitude is amplified. Now, we wait....until the day we try to come to this site and it too, has passed on. While I'd love to think this community will live on, it's naive to think that can happen without a platform to bring us all together. Hard to believe there is another Guy Fawkes out there, someone with the heart, the time, the technical ability, the rebelliousness and the willingness to take the risks Guy did. I for one am not that person, which is why I have always been so thankful someone else was. Let's hope that Guy's spirit will live on in someone new, I think he would want that. We all hope that when we pass we have changed the world in some way, whether big or small. Guy changed the world by bringing this community together, and bringing our common interest out of the dark shadows and into the light. RIP Guy Fawkes, may your spirit and your legacy live on

After countless hours on various websites I got a vaccine appointment in 5 minutes by using this guide: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JmmNhCRcpN6MDgymbE_D8NdKn67N4hVH/view?usp=sharing Good luck!

I'm hoping our next cruise will be several Greek islands, not sure when that will be. I'm generally averse to the idea of cruising, but the right combination of stops and time spent in points of embark/disembarkation would get me to do it again. Oh and the right cruiseline.....no theme nights, no formal attire, no forced seating arrangements, few children, and no gimmicks.

Hot men in Provincetown?

Onlyfans / Just4fans / Are any worth the price?
+ JEC replied to + Brad in NYC's topic in Spas & Masseurs
I use a site called "unusualporn.net" which hosts a LOT of porn content, including many major studios and a variety of fans content. For the same price you would pay to stream something like AEBN, you can download all the content (and watch it forever). Needless to say I have quite a collection. -
Mediterranean was our only cruise so far, def. recommend it. If you afford it, do one of the premium lines.....we did Azamara, almost no kids, smaller ships can dock right at port and you can walk on/off instead of taking a tinder (smaller boat) to shore. Also, all inclusive (including alcohol + tips). You can watch for discounted trips on sites like cruisesonly.com (click on Cruise Deals).

Our last trip pre-COVID was Spain: Malaga/Granada Madrid and San Sebastian (+ Tangier Morocco). 2of 3 days in Madrid we both had a GI issue that kept us at the hotel! We did a one-day walking tour of the highlights but were so disappointed we didn't experience more..... We did Venice in high season, 10 huge cruise ships in port. Nightmare! Had some great meals, but literally couldn't get near the main attractions. Would like to return off season.

Agree, we had such high expectations. The area is beautiful, but the town was so disappointing.

Live in Boston, haven't been to Montreal in years you just just reminded me to put it on my short list, just a 5 hour drive.
-
Underrated: Sainte-Chapelle Add Ste Eustache to that list, the "poor man's Notre Dame"
-
As a resident of MA, I def agree with you @ Plymouth Rock. On underrated, I agree the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum is spectacular, another underrated treasure might be Tanglewood - summer home of Boston Pops, theatre and other concerts (in the Berkshires), I have tix to see John Legend there in August.

No so much resorts, there is at least one Guest House with an enclosed courtyard that is "clothing optional" called Carpe Diem, my favorite place to stay in PTown.

.......you can even crawl home after the bars ????????

And, it is worth noting that PTown is home of the oldest continuously running gat bar in the US (The Atlantic House or simply A-House)

I've never been to PS, but the comparison seems to be "West Coast Retirement Desert Oasis" VS "East Coast Summer Beach Resort for all ages".

Carnival week in PTown: Commercial Street Vibe: Beyond the chaos:
-
Agreed, PTown would be a difficult place to live year-round the town is literally a ghost town from Thanksgving until Spring. The year-round population is about 3000, while it is 60,000 in summer. Unless you are wired for that kind of solitude. Many affluent gays do the snowbird thing, summer in PTown and winter in PS, Key West, Ft Lauderdale or the like. BTW Ogunquit Maine is also a gay mecca on the East Coast, similar to PTown but on a much smaller (and more spread out) scale. If the crowds of PTown turn you off, check out Ogunquit. Just 1 hour drive north of Boston.

A Spa. Like, a 10,000 sq foot deluxe Vegas-style spa with steam, sauna, whirlpool and 100 hot masseurs.

East coast boy here, never been to PS. Provincetown is a beautiful special place. It's the gayest place east of the Mississippi. As someone else mentioned, you don't need a car in fact a car is a liability. You can walk (or bike) the entire town easily. The town is crowded, but that's part of the charm - there is a real "vibe" on Commercial Street, you can easily get a room off the main drag where it will be quieter. "In season" is Memorial to Labor Day and there are theme weeks throughout the season, so check the schedule before you book - make sure you want to be there on family week, bear week, women's week, etc. There are a handful of bars and 100+ great restaurants to choose from. The beaches are stunning. As a young man Provincetown changed my life. As a child of upstate NY my world was very small until had the opportunity to go to PTown a few summers (during college) and learned about the cornucopia of men and opportunity out there. I eventually moved to Boston where I still live, and visit PTown occasionally. These days I much prefer PTown off season. During the Spring/Fall there are much fewer people (still enough to be fun) and still many stores/restaurants open. I have been a few times in the dead of winter and it's eerily and beautifully quiet. NY Eve is actually a great time to go to PTown, if you can stand the winter there is a small crowd and the bars are fun. There is also a bear weekend during the winter. The town used to be more of a "living" working class/fishing town with the seasonal summer gay crowd, time and money has driven almost all the townies out and you can't touch real estate for < $1m. Even the schools all closed a few years ago b/c there are so few children left in town. As for Dick Dock, it was much more of a thing - in fact was wild back in the day (lots of) guys would literally meet under a dock at the edge of town after the bars closed. It's much less so now, but the streets are cruisy late at night (and, of course there's always Grindr). PTown is a must for your bucket list.......? Oh, if you do go.....stay at the Carpe Diem Guest House (& Spa) the enclosed courtyard and spa are clothing optional.

Ha! Well, he finally replied to a request to see his private pix - months later, which got my attention (again)

Look who came out of retirement... He (temporarily) retired @ 2 years ago, just as he made his way to the top of my "to do" list Sadly, based in Houston rather than NYC But a very hot man with solid reviews (and if I remember premium rates): https://rentmen.eu/AyFun/

Impacts of severe unmanaged COVID include severe inflammation (which cause cause multiple organ failure but especially Kidney) and blood clotting (which can cause embolisms, blood clots which block blood flow and cause tissue to die, in the lungs or brain are especially harmful). If too much lung tissue dies, the lungs cannot be salvaged....which may be why weaning from a ventilator is not working. We have come a long way in a year, and most hospitals are now able to treat these symptoms which is why the COVID mortality rate has dropped so significantly. The fact that Daddy was home, untreated for so long prevented him from receiving critical life saving treatment sooner.
