To the M4M Community: You stepped up and helped navigate a thorny transition, and secure the future of the M4M Site and Community. Almost $11,000 was raised! Team Washington, led by @Orin, used some of the money for travel to/from Las Vegas to secure the computers in Daddy's apartment Some money was also used to move the site to new hosting servers etc. and secure a new Domain name Team Washington has now transferred the remaining money to @RadioRob and all remaining funds will be used to support costs associated with the ongoing operation of the site. There is another phase still to be worked out - which is the long term plan for supporting the site. I'm going to leave that plan to others....but with confidence that this community can and will figure that out. We now have plenty of runway to sort that out. I'd rather we be investing in high speed rail...much bigger impact. Like the Concorde, this will serve the uber-rich and ultra business travelers. Unlike 20+ years ago, we now have Zoom Skype and Teams is we need to see someone urgently yo get business done, which IMHO puts the value question into question.

As Broadway reopens, ALL seats are available when a new play is confirmed! If you act quickly you can get great seats for just about every show. Same for concerts as they get posted. Have great seats for MJ, Dear Evan Hansen, and Chicago (so far). Good luck! Jack

I bought my first electric vehicle this year, a (used) BMW i3. There are definitely pros and cons, so far the pros outweigh the cons for me. Any other EV owners out there? My car has a Range Extender, a small gas engine which acts as a generator (produces power, does not power the wheels). Most importantly, the range extender means not worrying about running out of power. For me, without the range extender (which is an option) this car would not be viable for me. New, this car is over priced ($50k) but at 3 years old you can pick up for half that. I found a 3 year old with 15k miles and traded my Audi A4 (which I loved). Pros: Fun to drive (nimble) Great acceleration Low cost to drive (low maintenance, no combustion engine) For daily driving, never need to go to gas station Green - pro-environment (I know we need to burn carbon to charge, over time can be replaced with wind solar and non-carbon fuel sources) Cons: Long trips are a pain. Long stops to charge adds time to trips Charging station networks need to be built out Stated "range" is misleading, basically only achievable under perfect conditions Without a range extender, risk of battery dying on the road Any EV experiences to share?

IN addition to this: benzoyl peroxide-based body wash find a back scrubbing brush that truly exfoliates, something stronger than a Loofah. This combined with the benzoyl peroxide body (PS go for 10% here, max allowed w/o prescription) wash used daily will be a game changer. Scrub for several minutes, the goal is to exfoliate the dead skin layer allowing the benzoyl peroxide to get into the underlying live skin. If you can, leave on your back for a few more minutes before rinsing. Mom was a derm nurse, we all scrubbed daily with Benzoyl Peroxide as teens, it really works.
