Yes this was developed using CRISPR technology. COVID proved to us that when you can channel the entire scientific community to focus on a specific disease, to collaborate, and throw a lot of money at it....you can accelerate the process in a quantum way. If we could harness this and attack a single disease at a time, we could probably make faster progress. I too was troubled by the CEO's comment, I wonder if he is just being careful (until this has cleared Phases 1 & 2)? Might also be because it is not practical to scale this particular treatment....but this could lead to another way to achieve the same result? This treatment requires extracting some of a persons own blood, then modifying it over 11 days (doing gene editing of the T Cells) then infusing the blood back into the body. With the advent of PreP and HAART HIV is a much larger problem in underdeveloped countries and it's especially not practical to scale this in those places. Here's info about the treatment: https://www.americangene.com/press-releases/fda-approves-american-gene-technologies-agt-to-move-forward-with-phase-1-clinical-trial-of-hiv-cure-program/ Still, this is very promising!

This falls into the "never" category. In the world of cybersecurity this is a huge risk, might be someone trying to steal your identity.

The research studies do not show that. There are 2 Doxy Prep options, 100mg daily (if very sexually active) or 200mg the day of/after sex. Google it for more detail.
-
DoxyPrep is now also a "thing". 100mg / day for the duration of your trip will > 70% prevent the bacterial STDs.

I do have and use an InstantPot. Have never used for Sous Vide. It is great for making SOME things. Note you will need to find and develop a whole set of recipes just for the IP. I use probably once a week. TERRIBLE for a slow cooker so if you think you're going to get rid of your slow cooker, don't. Lots of good recipes on pressureluck.com, he also has a youtube channel (and he's a cutish nebish-y jewish gay boy from NY). There are a few good instantpot groups on Facebook. Good luck!

Joe, welcome to the (gay) club. As others have said, gay relationships are all over the map, probably much more variety that with traditional M/F relationships. I have been with my (now) husband 32 years, and even our single relationship has gone through many phases over the years. We started as an "in love" young monogamous couple. After a few years, we started playing with others but always together. We even tried a throuple relationship for a short period, that didn't work at all for us. Then, we decide to stop the "playing" with others out of health concerns. Over time, our own relationship evolved to one not including a lot of sex, though our emotionally bond continued to deepen. Many years later, I got into this hobby. Over the years, my thoughts about gay VS straight relationships have also evolved from thinking (1) they have nothing in common with straight relationships to (2) they have a LOT in common to my current thinking (3) some of each. (Wading into deep water here). I think the main difference between gay & straight couples is the nature of the emotional bond. There is a largely established order of the male and female roles in relationships, in M:M relationships there may be naturally dominant and submissive roles or it may be a partnership of equals. Also, the emotional aspect of M:M relationships are different simply b/c men are wired differently than women emotionally. As others have touch upon, most men are sexual beings in very different ways than most women, and that is a factor. When we were first together I read this book, and thought it was very helpful at the time: https://www.amazon.com/Male-Couple-How-Relationships-Develop/dp/0135475635 Might be worth a read, good luck.

There are likely a set of protocols which if you and your clients follow, it would be low (not no) risk to see some clients again. Testing, masks for starters. I am an indoor cycling instructor and started teaching again about 2 months ago, the gym has pretty strong protocols in place and I am getting myself tested monthly as a precaution.

Busting One's Nuts During Anal...Is it for Everyone?
+ JEC replied to + MysticMenace's topic in The Lounge
For clarity's sake, are you talking about cumming "hands free"? As a top I can tell you this is a major turn on for me if that happens, it means the chemistry is incredible -
One of my favorite hotel chains is Club Quarters. They are in most cities (not Albany I think). They are nicely appointed and moderately priced, and have some nice perks. One note, they all require key card to get to your room so you'd have to meet in the lobby. You can book them on hotels.com. BTW a hotel in Boston that meets your criterion is the Midtown Motel. It's well located, moderately priced and no key card access.

Hello, there is a new(er) form of Prep for bacterial STIs (Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia), basically you can either take 100mg of Doxycycline daily; or 200mg of Doxy within 24 hours after sex. It is said to reduce the possibility of contracting bacterial STIs by 70%. Anyone have any experience with this to share?

Provider-Client unexpected social encounters ...
+ JEC replied to KrisParr's topic in Questions About Hiring
I'm a cyclist and do a handful of charity rides every year. In 2018 I did the CA AIDS Lifecycle ride (highly recommend BTW). I went with a friend who doesn't know about my "hobby". We got into line for registration, and standing directly in front of us was.....a provider I met in NYC a few months earlier. We said hello....of course my friend asked "how do you know him?". I said we met at a conference in NYC. We bumped into each other a few times during the ride, I decided not to "pursue" him since he deserved to enjoy the ride without that dynamic (unless he suggested it). One afternoon we saw each other in "camp" and sat on the lawn and chatted for awhile, it was nice to get to know him a little bit outside of "work". All of this happening 3000 miles from home  -
BTW Ryan seems to be in Boston now, hos profile has said so for several weeks now
