So my trip finished. I went to Thermas for three days Tue, Wed, and Thu in the hot week of July 2026. 3/4pm to 7/8pm.
In terms of being busy, Tuesday was the most quiet, but still had a decent selection of good-looking providers. I went to the Spunk/The Monster pre-Pride event on Thursday, where they billed that 40+ go-go dancers would be there. I got there a little before 11PM. The argument makes a blanket claim: discussion with AI cannot catch logical fallacies or refine arguments or grammar and paint is as 'outsourcing thinking' instead in a blanket fashion before that's even established

Sadly, history is repeating itself.  The anti-bias toward anything not white and "normal" is under assault.  Those living on the coasts are more insulated from it but it's still prevalent when the tone is set at the top levels of government.  The torchbearers happy embrace the chest and brow beating wherever they may be.  Once gay marriage became legal, I thought the country could never go back to those prior days.  But here we are.  Trans phobia is being used as a bludgeon to attack everyone's rights.  I hope history will look back on this period as a blimp and revert back where middle America just shrugs on socially divisive issues.  Live and let live.

Some of the holier than thou - lack of empathy - the law is the law types - if you are on the other side of the transaction, you can just as easily fall into this detention trap as well.  Just because we have reached a certain age with some greying hair won’t matter a bit if some drunk on power border official in the US decides it’s time to ruin / embarrass a gay man’s life. Some AI system has finally linked your signal/telegram chat to your cell phone or home wifi IP address, flagging your identity as engaged with SW’rs too.  
 
At this point in my life, I know I stand with SW’ers because I’m part of their community. A good number of my fellow men of a certain age have come into this life late in life, and don’t have the experiences of being called a f@ggot while leaving a gay bar in their teens or 20s. Once you realize you’re part of the same marginalized community, you’ll be better prepared to deal with indignities that will be coming our way should these abuses of power continue.  
 
Your age, net worth, social status, what you think are your rights in the comfort of your own home won’t matter when you face a windowless room and no access to your smart phone or legal counsel.  Add to this if you are detained on unrelated business travel or with family, you just want to continue on with your trip, convincing yourself you can explain away there was a case of mistaken identity etc.
