I'll confess, when I go to the grocery store, I always get the the check out lane with the cutest guy. Today was no exception and I've check out and checked out with this guy before.

My opinion is the guy in the pics is not 6'2".

When I lived in Hawaii the age of consent was fourteen. I didn't believe it so I called the Police Department and asked about it. The desk sergeant said: "Hold on a moment, I'll ask about it." he came back in a few minutes and said: "The age of consent is fourteen. However I want to remind you that those children have parents that'll be willing to beat the shit out of you."
 
They have since raised the the age of consent to sixteen with a Romeo and Juliet clause of five years. The point is that the "Age of Consent" is not universal and does change over time.
 
My feeling is that we should wait until at least they're out of high school and go with eighteen being the boundary. This feeling tends to be shared by the moderators and the administrators. The current rules are in the process of being adjusted. So let me reiterate:

The second warning will automatically incur a timeout

The way the question is framed makes it seem like this is a dating relationship, as in how many dates before you start being your true self, or something.
 
In my mind, there is no connection between having multiple successful sessions and divulging personal info. I think in this situation, each person is free to offer or withhold their personal info at their discretion, it's totally up to them and no one should have an expectation.
 
A client is not doing an escort some kind of favor by disclosing their real identity and an escort is not shady if they never do. I would never never never ask someone this. I can only imagine the firestorm if a thread were started about an escort who asked his repeat clients for personal info.
 
On the other hand, there are people here who don't have a nom de guerre, so they never have to decide when to out themselves. My point is that it's their prerogative and their prerogative alone. And it shouldn't have any bearing on the sessions.

Good point. That being said, some members, new and old, practice common courtesy and decency while others do not.

Marking old posts as "disliked" is the sign of being a true asshole, and I don't mean the type I like to eat. "Don't be an asshole" is a pretty universal convention.

To me, a new member who posts using common courtesy, common sense, and the same type of self-restraint one would use in any venue, online or offline, does all of us a service.

I'm going to guess the new member in question "disliked" a slew of old posts made by the OP, based on the title and first sentence of the OP's post. While naming the new member in question might not have been the best move, I wouldn't call it mocking him. The OP called out someone for their bad behavior.

You're preaching to the choir here. But it's safer for RM to be coy rather than run afoul of certain laws in the US. I don't believe the rules were written for the two consenting adults where no one is being coerced, but here we are. You do have to exercise a bit of nudge-nudge-wink-wink here and on RM.

Has @ArVaGuy sent the email with the details? I have not yet received anything.

Note that RickM, who started this thread and asked for advice, “signed off” of the thread last Thursday and has not been heard from since. Odd.

What happened here has nothing to do with a BFE.

I highly recommend the Berluti knot. It's not particularly bulky and can still be untied by just pulling the ends.
