Probably with most everybody else, this isn't who I thought you were referring to.

Attempting to change the time to an earlier one which isn't convenient, only to deliver a terse unpleasant experience because of an inability on my part to alter my day to make theirs freed up sooner. I (perhaps wrongfully) ruled out ever hiring a twenty-something since that happened. They are the absolute worst demographic in respect to one's time. I'm not the asshole barking about a store not opening when it's 9:02, but internally I'm giving a fist pump to the people that holler on my behalf. Value EVERYONE'S time, not just your own.

That's pretty impressive for a guy who was injured half his rookie season, and won the prestigious "bat flip of the year" honors in 2020.
 
For those non sports-minded folk, a bat flip is a show-off move some batters do after hitting a baseball very hard, usually over a fence.

He was around a .200 hitter cumulatively in Spring Training for 5 years. If you're not Major League ready in that amount of time, I'm sure there's other careers out there. Perhaps he can do a "reverse Manning" and go to Indianapolis to QB. That would be an off-season move nobody saw coming!

Reminds me of the song ” If I had a million dollars” by the Bare Naked Ladies.

For all the posts to go into the 70 page range, this seems psychotic to be among them. Especially considering the original poster hasn't been on here in many, many years.
