That's interesting. I find BelAmi the most cookie-cutter and bland of all the companies. It's like the same 10 guys over and over and over again. <yawn>

Large companies can have layoffs even in areas that are doing well because they've decided to squeeze out every inch of margin they can. And even if you are well regarded by your immediate colleagues, the decisions sometimes come from the top from someone who neither knows nor gives a shit about the details.

Two friends and I took them together last year. Laza, a darker-skinned Mexican; Rafa, a light-skinned Mexican with an American grandfather; and me (total whitebread.)
 
The results all seemed reliable -- or at least plausible. Laza had the biggest mixture that included Indo, Southern European and African. Rafa had a good mixture with a bit of the local Indo population but was mostly southern European. I was greater than 99% northern European (boring.)

I had a guy tell me he was retiring because he found a BF and the BF did not want him to escort. He was very sweet in his message, mentioned how much he liked getting together and wished me well. He's the escort whom I saw on the street at the Farmer's Market. He stopped, turned around, and said "hi" introducing me to his BF. We lived a few blocks from one another and he told the BF he knew me from the neighborhood. About six months later he texted me to let me know he had broken up with the boyfriend, would be posting a Rentboy ad, and assured me that he would continue to honor his old (lower) rate. We hooked up several times until he retired for good.

I've had several regulars stop working and then come back or just contact me privately (which I'm always flattered by.) Many of these young men never intend it to be a long-term gig and have complicated young lives they're trying to launch, so I tend not to overthink it and just wish them well.
 
However, I've never had one break the news to me in such a rude and personal manner. This one I would have told, "Thanks but no thanks. I've retired from hiring."

I made the RM review 5-stars so it wouldn’t be deleted. Every non-5-star RM review I’ve posted (3’ish over the years) has been deleted by RM admins. When I receive RM queries from clients about this seeming contradiction I share this and point them to the published DR review. Not at all. It's one of the few really passive things that I enjoy. You do generally have to ask for it because most guys aren't going to just push you back and climb aboard, but I have never met a guy who gave me a blank stare or even batted an eye about it. It can't be uncommon.

I truly hate when people here bring up the age thing, cause that's one thing Daddy is very sensitive to and does not tolerate , so we should all be respectful of his guidelines.

I’ll be the contrarian here. He may have had a moment. He felt like deepening the connection then on a spur of the moment. But to talk about “it” removes the spontaneity of the moment and may disturb him.
 
I say you go with the original expectation of massage and standard fun. If “it” happens again be thankful. But he’s the one in charge.

You don’t need to be a drug addict to know what a drug dealer is, but if you are you will have deeper and further insight of how to acquire drugs, sell drugs, and you will know many of the hidden risks and secrets involved in that walk of life and often times more than someone who is sober... because you experienced it first hand.
 
You don’t need to have been molested to know what a pedophile is, but if if you were you most likely have deeper understanding of what may have gone on in the mind of the person who assaulted you (assuming there was a prior platonic relationship) and how that plus other factors may have played a role in the situation.
 
So you’re right, you don’t have to have the experience or knowledge to know what a pimp is..... but do you really know? There is A LOT you wouldn’t know without experiencing it up close and personal. That’s what my intentions were with that statement. I’ve seen several uneducated assumptions on what a pimp is on this thread, and I guess to someone who knows how traumatic that lifestyle really is it does bother me that people are quick to assume with little to no education on the subject rather than asking questions.

I happen to agree with you that there is a space in this industry for managers who are very much not pimps. They take on the work of answering all the many messages, screening clients and particularly provide benefit if there are language issues. I also agree that control is the key distinguishing factor -- not the arranging of the clients.
