I have visited all the mansions. My personal favorite was "The Elms". The Breakers is incredible...but also so over the top its obnoxious. The Elms is a more elegant (but also impressive) mansion from the period. You can buy a day pass from the historical society that lets you visit several of the mansions. Many include guided tours and some allow you to wander around and see the spaces at your own pace. The oldest synagogue in the country is in Newport. There are several museums of art, and numerous historic landmarks. The port area is full of great seafood restaurants, live music venues and shops (and good icecream).

If you enjoy history, then you will love Newport. SO many interesting sites to visit.

The cliff walk is a beautiful way to see the many turn of the century mansions from the outside or you can tour any of the nine properties run by the Preservation Society. All of this is accessible by foot (recommnded) as you stroll through some of the most beautiful neighborhoods of private mansions, or take the free shuttle bus. Loads of museums great restaurants, live music, pubs and shops surround the old port. We love it there. Have visited many times.

What I am saying, is that for some (large) percentage of gay men, they dont consider "cuddling" or ANY interaction outside of the sex-act itself to be even remotely desirable. In my experience with all my gay friends over the years....the establishment of a RELATIONSHIP tempers the fears of a LOT of parents about the homosexual lifestyle. Lots of mainstream people with little personal experience with gay men (and women) have many fears about the risks of stepping outside the lines of convention. The demonstration of a loving, caring relationship often clears the room of the kind of bias that mainstream people have about the risky, sexually charged life of many gay men. I wouldn't be quick to assume they say anything behind your back. Just accept the acceptance they have for the fact that this man makes you happy. Thats what MOST parents care about most.

You wouldn't know until you meet them. There's definitley a difference between the way most bisexual men approach their sex life than that of men who are long-term active members of the gay community. Just look at Grindr. Nobody even bothers to share a name, know anything about you or ever see you again after you share a load of semen inside each other. I am not saying there's anything wrong with this kind of behavior ..I've certainly indulged in it myself...but..I DO notice that many gay men have ZERO interest in socializing within their ring of sexual conquests. While anyone whos truly bisexual, knows that this kind of quick-hook-up is virtually unobtainable with women, (outside the world of escorts). So we (in MY opinion) tend to normalize socializing and sex as going hand-in-hand, while many gay men normalize ANONYMOUS sex as the gold standard.

Although $500 may be put of YOUR budget for frequent visits...that seems pretty reasonable for a "spectacular" passionate pounding by an exceptionally good looking provider. All my recent adventures with handsome providers were $400 and I can't say any of them were particularly memorable. Like you, I only understood the concepts of gay or straight. I was completely unaware of bisexuality until I was an adult. I also admire young people for their ability to be more open in choosing a sex life that best suits their personal needs, without the shame that people used to suffer.
