  1. (j.k.) = just kidding Riffing on the fact he doesn't look 35 in those photos and the fact that gay men over 30 do a lot of age shaving ( even when they're not escorts )
  2. There is a great deal of hypocrisy in the Arab world regarding sexual activity especially when you have money. The upper classes and luxury tourists are disregarded by the morality police. I remember hiring a well respected tourist guide in Morocco years ago, who told me that the policy was "One Eye Open and One Eye SHUT" Then went on to explain that he could get me ANYTHING I WANTED...and that his best customers Dolce and Gabanna always go to him for their "entertainment" when in town. I didn't take him up on his offer for drugs and prostitution, but it always struck me as peculiar. When I was in Istanbul, I ran across many handsome young men hanging out at night. The thoughts of encountering some of these same fellows at the sauna definitely crossed my mind, but it also sticks in my head that the morality rules CAN be enforced suddenly and at the drop of a hat when the local politician is running for office. So I have a NO risk policy for myself when traveling in Muslim countries. I don't care how many people "got away with it" before me. I'm not taking the risk.
  3. I agree those PHOTOS are nice. But DO those photos represent the 45 year old man who's gonna walk in the door ? (j.k.) I'm a bit picky when it comes youthful appearance of my side-pieces... so I pick up on inconsistency with these kinds of things pretty quickly. It's a question that begs an answer.
  4. He lists his age as 35 but doesn't look 35 in those photos ...so one wonders if these are old pic. Also ..the habit of gay man does seem to guarantee age shaving over 30...so is this fellow 35 or maybe 40-something ?
  5. Rental property near Agra businesses in the south. Those migrants gotta live somewhere. The Federal Government is never late with the rent.
  6. I'm serious !! That place looks like half the crowd might keel over at any minute. I'm surprised there isn't a proper wheelchair ramp for them.
  7. In my mere 5 decades on this planet I've seen multiple boom and bust sessions in the US economy. Each time it's the same result. Small businesses collapse and big businesses lap up the market share. If you think the ups and downs aren't rigged, you're not paying attention to the benefits for those with the most influence.
  8. Every time I was past *the Monster* the men at the bar look like they could be my grandfather. ( I'm 51)
  9. Which goes back to my original statement ..."you might have more success with a bit of local travel destinations."
  10. Actually...the comparison between NYC and Charleston is vast. My wife and I drive out of town most every weekend and there are hundreds of interesting things to do just outside of NYC. There are multiple significant municipalities just beyond the city limits like Scarsdale and Huntington that are beautiful charming villages. Sadly Charleston for all it's beauty sits there alone as a destination. As far as being gay and living there... I imagine you'd be very happy in the company of your lover but somewhat lonely if you try to live the typical bar and club social life of the single urban gay man. I've considered retiring there myself but the lack of any culture surrounding the city always makes Charleston an impractical alternative.
  11. Yup That map looks accurate.
  12. Charleston is a lovely old town ..but sadly in the middle of nowhere. So you might have more success with a bit of local travel destinations.
  13. You're in a recession. Maybe you meant wait until the DEPRESSION ?
  14. It's totally fine......As they say: "doesn't hurt to ask.... but I do always wonder ...does ANYONE bother reading a profile before messaging ??
  15. A pleasant looking young man for sure...but "hottest" ? 🤔 That's a rather subjective claim that he may not get a lot of votes for.
  16. I gave up. Millennials think you're insane for expecting them to show up at 6:00 pm when you say 6:00 pm. When you question them, their answer is "nobody does that". ( In their age group..that may be true ). Very sad. I was always the guy who got to every meeting 10 minutes early because I always left extra time to get there.
  17. Being on-time is sooo last century. 😆 Millennials never show up to anything on time. ( Not sure how old your "date" was...but if he's under 30, this kind of behavior is the new normal )
  18. "Clearly" always requires reading. So time consuming, you know !! 😆 Like the dozens of messages I get on Grindr every week from men over 50 when my profile "clearly" states that I am only interested in under 30.
  19. Yes. Which was widely remorseful for many New York foodies. Thankful they managed a reboot. We've celebrated many anniversary celebrations, birthdays and get-togethers at Gotham. Was one of the more sad losses from the long lasting pandemic shut-downs that we suffered here.
  20. Very hot....but I think I would need an ACTUAL MASSAGE after being tossed around, turned upside down, and fucked on a kitchen counter !
  21. Why do you keep trying to micromanage how I communicate? There's a block option if you don't like strong opinions. Telling me that I am "always so angry" is an example of extreme narcissism. You seem to believe I shouldn't have opinions because they aren't your own.
  22. Which is more likely because the boys like their gaybohoods, more than they like fine dining. I and the wife are foodies and would rarely choose Chelsea as a recommended dining destination. But as mentioned above there are many great restaurants in New York that appeal to all matter of tastes and at all variety of price points. I would say Gotham and Wallse are two of our favorite destinations downtown. ( Where much of your better choices are found these days. ).
  23. It was an answer to the question: "How would you know"?
  24. Stop buying them. We rarely buy processed food at my house. I'm sure the once or twice a week we eat at a restaurant, we are consuming some. But also making choices there that are less likely to not be fresh. Americans eat like shit. They all die of cancer at a rate that coincides with the consumption of processed food. Just say no.
  25. Is it ? I don't think most people would agree.
