Well....I mean...Toronto ? Not exactly the epicenter of fashion focus. "Influencers" want to be seen in the most trendy/fashionable locations. So I'm sure you're also not going to be bothered by them in Toledo, Minneapolis or Ottowa. For those of us in London, LA or NYC we get inundated by young trend-seekers.

It's all very symbolic of the whole soap opera drama that the mainstream media has lured us into. Objective Journalism is non existant today. We are expected to huddled into two camps of pro or con. With progressivism or with conservatism and ignore the middle ground. (Which is really where most people dwell). Both these characters are players in the scam where we are fooled into believing that only the two extremes of opinion matter.

I don't find that the least bit interesting, because it's not the least bit surprising. Tucker leans very conservative so of course he's going to attract the usual vitriol from the members here who just can't cope with anti-progtessives. The very serious problem with that knee-jerk reaction to ALL conservatives is that some of them are making valid points that never get heard.

Actually you did. Phrasing is important. Maybe read your comments as other would read it before you post. When I read your response it definitely insinuated you knew something negative about the guy. Then you claimed "it wasn't relative"...but even THAT makes one ponder what dirt you do have on the person. Apparently you're saying it's a miscommunication. But I can see why others might read it as a warning against Habibihunk.

Have you ever done a freebie for a hot client

Your logic is lost on me. You simultaneously claim you missed out by taking 3 hours of personal time but also indicate you really don't get a lot of bookings. Are you saying you feel obligated to stay at home 24/7 until you get a client even though you don't get clients for days at a time ? I think your dwindling business model is now officially cutting into you enjoying your life if that's the case. -
The LIRR station has shuttle busses to the ferry. You can buy tickets when you arrive at the ferry. ( Just realize the longer line is people who already bought tickets ..so look for the shorter line). Both shuttles and ferries run frequently. So although technically you could hit a rush hour and not make it on...you won't wait long for another one. Chery Grove and The Pines are both gay oriented communites. The Grove has large Lesbian/ hippy vibe. The Pines is more upscale and full of the pretty Instagram gays. Beautiful beach...and lots of beautiful men to oggle. Both towns have nightlife and cafe's but the Grove is a bit more commerical and full of day-trippers where the Pines is more of a seasonal crowd + homeowners. Both are worth a visit. Enjoy.

Income to hire regularly

Sadly that's not an unusual story. As we get older sometimes we need different kinds of friends. And the reliable love most get from parents is something none of us get to keep. Planning your old age is tricky because we never really know what's ahead of us. But being a good friend to others who share your outlook in life are your key to feeling safe. Avoid self centered people and reach out to the givers. -
I DO think American news has become more about keeping their audience entertained than informed. It's all quite left or right viewpoints, so that alone tells you that the story is modified to satisfy one or the other "side of the aisle". Objective journalism is a thing of the past. It doesn't bring ratings.

@UnicornI didn't say I respected nor did I say I condoned lying. I made it clear what I respected about him. I can like something about someone without condoning every moment of their behavior.
-
I think there are few examples of the American news industry NOT "lying to it's listeners". Ratings are garnered through ENTERTAINING the audience, not reporting facts.
-
I think you can discuss the subject by simply NOT going all partisan. The man was anti-corporatist and that attitude straddled both political parties, as his viewpoints, there were more about the social implications of the increased power of Global Corporate influence, than it was about political power.

I think that Carlson has had an impressive career. I remember him from his time at CNN. I don't really watch Fox News, so I have very little knowledge of his time there outside of a few clips that I've seen online, and articles I've read. Without making a political statement, I will say that the distaste some people here, have for the man is emblematic of the on-going SOCIAL split down the middle in this country. You have some who are calling for drastic "progressive" change while others have a great distaste for the excessive reach of these changes. Carlson simply represents the population of people who cherish certain components of American culture and don't wish to see them washed away. I don't necessarily agree with status quo-ism but I certainly understand how people can, and do cling to the past. So I don't condemn him or anyone for that matter who leans conservative as a way of holding on to what works for them. "Don't fix what isn't broken" is their mantra and that was Tucker's too. Unfortunately he often speaks from a bubble of society that remains deliberately oblivious to struggles in other communities. For that I am critical of his somewhat patrician viewpoint on sociological changes. What I do respect about Tucker Carlson is that he has always kept pounding on the very anti-corporatocracy viewpoint, that I share myself. I expect with that, he will struggle to find a big money sponsor since the American Media is now completely infested with PRO Global Corporate propaganda.

Welcome Michael. We could use another "Angel" here.

Harry was an interesting character. I know his ex wife, Julie through a good friend of mine, so I've heard many fascinating stories. Such an incredible life they lived. You can't mourn too deeply over a life both; well lived and long lived. You can only feel sad for your own loss. Rest in Peace.

Which never bothers me. I see he's in Boca Raton now. I will be there on business this weekend. Might have to check him out.

The first time I ever paid someone for a fuck was years ago and I was only about 30. I was out with some gay friends for a birthday celebration. We all ended up at a strip club. One of the performers caught my eye because he was so precisely "MY type." After his bit...I wanted to get another look at him so I headed to the lounge where I caught his eye. He darted over to me and asked if I wanted a "private show". I wasn't prepared for a "hire" and told him I don't have much cash with me. He asked how much I had...so pulled out my wallet which had about $42 in it. He declared that was enough for a "sample session". I followed him to a hotel nearby for "my sample". We ended up fucking and sucking for about two hours. Once we were done he told me he didn't want the money ..he just thought I was cute. But I emptied my wallet of my $42 anyway because I DID agree to it. No matter how much fun he had himself. It was his job after all. Ended up seeing him a few times after that (off the clock). -
I'm not that old (yet). I get plenty of exercise at the gym etc. By the time I get home I don't need more. But yes ...for older people stairs are good exercise. ( Until you fall down them ). Which is often the case with elderly people. Lost one grandmother to a flight of stairs and nearly said goodbye to a neighbor recently who was otherwise healthy and active. Bedridden for a year now after a tumble.

Of course that cannot be 100% known. But the assumption is good because my negotiating is never about pressuring someone to accept less for the same work they quoted. I will say the budget doesn't allow this so how can it be done differently. Or what do we need to cut out to bring it to budget. But I never suggest they are gauging me and should simply do the same job but for less money. That's tacky in all negotiating. My point being is that we find a solution that everyone agrees with . So no one walks away from the table feeling like I took advantage of the situation. Same way I won't negotiate with a masseur or escort. Who am I to tell them they're over estimating their due ??? If other men are willing to pay $1000 for a hot fuck...then go for it. Don't suck MY dick for $500 just because I want to pay $500.

Watching to see how long it takes @Mrprofessionalto refute this. ( And enthusiastically endorse Marcelo once again )

I wonder if that means they will be edible by people accustomed to actual food.

What's your story when you offered a non-provider to be a provider?
pubic_assistance replied to Newtdad's topic in The Lounge
I don't expect everyone to know that. So obviously I need to put it out there when I need to put things into context. Since I started using this site, I am aware that some people just assume everyone here is gay. Always forgetting that there's a 'B' in LGBT -
I miss the days of ACTUAL journalism. American News is now all corporate brainwashing. Just choose your flavor of propaganda.
