  1. People mention "The Gayety". My first escort experience was with VITO, a young beautifully sculpted Italian guy, who danced there some time in the late 1990's. I was there during a birthday celebration for a gay friend. I was quite young and inexperienced with men. I had never seen someone so beautiful and was totally smitten. I wanted to get another peek at him after his performance ( the boys would hang out in the lounge after they leave the stage ). He caught my glances and wandered over asking if i wanted a "private show". I barely had $40 cash in my pocket and apologized to him that I was unprepared to hire him. He asked how much I had with me and claimed that was enough for "a sample". I said good night to my friends and with them giggling, depated to the fleabag Hotel next door. Vito was absolutely incredible. We fucked and sucked for over two hours ( hardly a mere "sample"). Afterwards he told me I didn't owe him anything ...i was actually "his type" and he really just wanted to meet me and he had a great time. However, to my mind this was his business and therfore I did offer the contents of my pocket. (We met up a few times after that...off the clock). That was my first and most memorable hire...and I believe my only hire for over two decades ..as I was very young at the time with no other driving reasons to hire escorts at that time. I wonder if anyone else had the pleasure of Vito's company. I don't think I've ever been with someone who was so totally "my perfect guy". 💗
  2. Although I've never peraonally hired Alex, I've been on the forum long enough and heard so many glowing reviews, to know that he's consistently regarded as one of the top ten providers in NYC. If someone had an experience that they claim wasnt up to their standards, then it does indeed make you question the customer's expectations, not the provider's skills. Simple logic.
  3. I'm not grossed out. Quite the opposite. I am confused why a gay man would be grossed out by touching a salad when many ( I'm unaware of all of @Unicorn's sexual interests ) gay men seem to love licking someone's asshole. Seems a bizarre contradiction of sanitary standards.
  4. Actually I don't. I meant I've touched all the ingredients with my hands while I'm preparing the salad in the kitchen.....but...the appropriate way to serve a salad is to toss the dressing at the table. (Keeps the lettuce fresh and crunchy if you wait until it's being served ). So..no at the table I wouldn't use my hands. That's why I asked where this offensive salad was being tossed by hand. Since I've touched everything that's going in the salad..I don't really understand why if someone chose to also toss in the dressing in the kitchen and mix it together by hand before serving...how does this suddenly makes it gross ? The comment about being ok for cooked foods is bizarre. WHO uses gloves to make a cold sandwich or cut up some fruit ? This conversation has me baffled by the randomness of application of sanitary rules. As long as the food is handled with clean hands who cares ? I agree it's a bit messy with salad oils to be using your hands...but I can't imagine your host picked his nose just before making your salad...so I personally wouldn't have been offended.
  5. I am curious WHERE the salad was being tossed. My first reading of @Unicornpost left me with the assumption this was in the kitchen while preparing dinner...but yeah it doesn't specifically say that...so I am agnostic until I understand better his experience. If you're in the kitchen ...I don't care what you touch. That's all part of preparing food. If you're mixing stuff with your hands at the dinner table...I agree...that's a bit weird.
  6. Yes. And you should never come to dinner at my house. I touch ALL the food, cooked and uncooked. Obviously any respectable person is washing his / her hands throughout the preparation.
  7. I don't see anything different about tossing a salad or stuffing a turkey while it's in your kitchen. I agree tossing a salad at the table (which is the appropriate way to serve) would be weird if you used your hands..but my impression of the salad being discussed here was that the host was still working in the kitchen.
  8. What about him made you change your mind ? I'm curious. I haven't seen him for some time.
  9. Frette is a luxury brand and like most every luxury brand, the actual value of the product isn't worth anything near the price they will ask. It's half quality and half marketing to rich people's insecurities and providing them with something to brag about.
  10. You can really spot the ones who don't cook. I literally touch EVERYTHING with my hands while preparing food. Do you use gloves at your house when making a sandwich ? 🤨
  11. There is no standard for age shaving because everyone ages differently. I had a tough time getting into a bar until I was 30... I had such a baby face. Likewise, my mother used to get hit-on by high school boys (when I was in High School.)...so she was in her late 30s. On the other side I had a friend in high school who was bald by 18...and therefore looked more than 10 years older than he was. So shaving your age needs to line up with what someone would guess your age to be...not calculated with some socially acceptable math.
  12. It's pretty amusing to listen to a bunch of gay guys worry about the unsanitary possibilities of touching food with bare hands while simultaneously posting threads talking about licking some stranger's asshole. 🧐 When you eat at my house it's a pretty good guess that I've touched all the food. Although I do agree that tossing a salad should be done at the table just before serving and not with your hands.
  13. Really ? How shocking. 🙄
  14. I always suggest the hotel HUGO in West of SOHO. It's in a quiet out-of-the-way corner of the city. But a mere two blocks walk from the action. Hotel Hugo - Guest Reservations WWW.GUESTRESERVATIONS.COM As an independent booking service offering over 100,000 hotels worldwide, we can get you the same...
  15. Maybe it's my age...but when I see PCP I think drugs.
  16. Thanks for further supporting my claim that bi guys are better in bed. 🥳
  17. There are many bits of mass hallucination in the gay communiity. THIS is one of the major bits of insanity.
  18. This was actually a joke on the TV comedy "Community" where one of the characters was horrified (at first) to find out his wet wipes were the preferred brand of gays. Eventually he embraced the butt-surfer buyer and started directly marketing to them.
  19. He's very attractive. Sometimes you have to be a little patient with young providers until they get their shit together.
  20. What "Level of Service" ? We are talking about escorting, not a visit to a spa or an outpatient health center, performing surgery. As long as the guy's cute and willing, as a top, I am doing most of the work anyway.
  21. I'm going to guess that both these issues of feeling unwelcome have more to the story than just being gay. A poll may show that a (small) majority claim to approve of homosoxeual lifestyles but that doesn't mean they approve of the way EVERY homosexual couple behaves. I grew up in redneck territory and I know a few gay couples who still live there. They succeed by blending in and participating with the larger community. Not fighting it.
  22. I live in NYC and I would say that I envy gentlemen who live in London. I always find the most young attractive providers who appeal to my particialr tastes in that ( lovely ) city.
  23. In most careers you make more with experience. But when it comes to escorting I'd probably pay more for a 21 year old than I would a 36 year old escort. ( I mean ...personally, I wouldn't even consider hiring someone that old). So this particular career has a different valuation curve than others do.
  24. Bible-belt communities drive out EVERYONE who doesn't comply. It's not just the gays. Polarization is sadly becoming more and more common for reasons I can't mention without discussing the political landscape of America in 2023
  25. "Flee" ? My mother said they would just drive their friend to the neighboring State. Get the abortion and drive them home. It's an abortion, not the gas chambers. Inconvenient perhaps but hardly the end of the world. At least you had that option.
