Alone vs Paired is one question Paired/partnered vs legally wed is another I am yes to paired and wed. Been paired for 33yrs, wed for 13 of those, and we have both been better off for it. In my previous midwestern life I might never have come out, but gotten married and had kids and been sneaky and miserable, as one can change what he does, but not what he wants. We all know people who are paired off for life, but not wed legally. The basic element of the marriage contract is actually about property, and inherent right to power of attorney and other decision making for the spouse. State laws regulate what happens if/when marriage ends in divorce, or when one spouse survives the other. Credit Scores are also entwined in marriage, meaning a careful money manager may be compromised by matrimonial link to someone with huge debt and/or credit issues. Better off alone is its own question, and a yes to that in your heart makes the rest moot. Try thinking of yourself as something other than your handle here. If IRL you also define yourself as lonely, you may miss something right in front of you. ❤️

Depending on how well he blots and grovels I may give him the tip. If he does it right, I may give him the whole thing… 😽 Most managers at properties with actual servers are hyper-responsive with restitution and comps. Kendall’s makes a bloody fortune on audience members, but does work hard for satisfaction as competitors nearby have surfaced. It’s an accident. And it’s soup, not battery acid.

I’m wondering how many of y’all worked seasonal jobs at this time of year when younger. Did you help out a a Christmas tree lot? Work retail store positions? Sing carols or sew costumes for a local Nutcracker? Maybe you did service and volunteer with seniors, children, the disadvantaged? I had a couple Christmas breaks in HS working at the A&P (anyone??) bagging and schlepping groceries - the only time of year we were allowed to accept tips…. Also worked at JCPenney catalog center in two different locales in college, both times supervised by a bunch of midwestern white ladies with very big hair and warm hearts. I did it all, from truck unloading, taking phone orders, tracking them when they arrived, to gift wrapping - the ladies were wowed) Once in my grownup showbiz career I worked on A Christmas Carol, Hansel and Gretel, Nutcracker, La Boheme, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, and others, each of which was the predictable blend of demand and delight. How about you? Still rocking green tights as a elf? Or glad to have it all as Christmas Past?

What Is the Most Difficult Conversation You Had With Yourself?
jeezifonly replied to + MysticMenace's topic in The Lounge
Here’s one thing to consider… Conversations with yourself are ongoing over a lifetime, and though they may be influenced by other people’s specific recounts of their own internal dialogs, you still are going to have to continue your own. Which is why I chose a silly version of self-enlightenment. Laugh at yourself as often as you can to break up the deep stuff, as that part is never not running as background. 🙂 -

It went something like this: Shut up. No you shut up! No you shut up! Poopy-head! Fag! 😆 -

Stephen Sondheim Dies and the World Cries
jeezifonly replied to TruthBTold's topic in Comedy & Tragedy
His brilliant mind and sense of theatrical purpose never flagged with the onset of age. There are unfinished works he left behind, and perhaps the loss we feel mourns what might have been. Sound the flute…Blow the horn…Pluck the lute…Forward, mourn! A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, 1962 -
Isn’t it sort of a grumble-brag? ”I love getting fucked in the ass, but my dick’s too big”

If they ran out of the chicken, the hungry guy behind her might have resorted to eating her pussy right there in the cabin. 🙀

If you see a real beauty/beast (depending on your type) who quotes an outlandish price, wouldn’t you buy 30 days on his OF/JFF to check him out in action on camera? Mission Accomplished!

I love that I find tidbits like This… Ahem… (Thank you Qweerty!) Isn’t this just a porn trope? How extensive does one’s real life experience need to be to counter such nonsense? I’m pretty sure my own trail of youthful trysts gave me a clue in less than a year… We have to remember that non-binary applies to more than just gender…

Poppers Irreversible Eye Damage if you are 40+ and Predisposed
jeezifonly replied to lonely_john's topic in Men's Health
There was a brand called DEEP and it wasn’t the same popper aroma - and the “eye of Mordor” effect was too much for me, and I went back to English. If I use them now it’s an Austrian brand that that doesn’t have unpleasant anything. No harsh smell, dizziness, or that eye thing… -
Fantastic moving music although I'm not religious
jeezifonly replied to Norman Hutt's topic in Music
I can appreciate a lot of sacred music. There are masses, large and small, requiems, hymns that are beautiful pieces of melody and harmony, counterpoint, all sorts of structures. I sang in choirs while young, still can sing along with chunks of Messiah, Elijah and others. That said, just ‘cause I remember the jingle doesn’t mean I ever bought or endorsed the product… -

When viewing vids where they play a part I am kind of astonished by the depth and number of the hits taken. Never been my use of them, which tends to be shallower no more than two hits. Have I been doing it wrong? Ah well, warning and advice taken to heart here. -
I was asked once, and so I exaggerated my existing flaws, adding a few years, a few pounds, and describing my face as “almost healed”. He didn’t balk and when I showed up, he opened the door, and said “you’re much more attractive than you think”. I climaxed right then and there, handed him a couple Benjamins and left happy. 🍻

This goes back to my original post - the study does not seem to address all the variations of sexuality we recognize now - it was simply “self-identification” as M/F Str/Gay. So, the many men who felt (feel) they could be straight, married fathers and still get railed in the ass on the DL, would be included in the Straight Male category. I would not be surprised if further depth of the study revealed lots of bi-sexual men who ID as straight left school early to marry the oops girl and seek full-time income to raise the kid, with a smaller portion of those fathers later identifying as Gay. Sometimes.

Spielberg may be just in time to spark interest in his genius among a younger audience!!! Though WSS was just lyrics, Sondheim’s catalog of original music brought old musical theatre ideas forward with influence from jazz and classical, always with the focus on telling the story. Stephen Sondheim left the world a much better place than it was before he showed up. May he rest free of tech rehearsals evermore.
