You are correct. The latest update on the trial was back in April when Leduc fired his attorney (who apparently worked out a plea arrangement). At the time, a new trial date was set for May 15th. There's been a news blackout on the case since then. As you say, this is very surprising when one considers this story was covered by the Canadian national news media. For instance the article calls Hogan an "egoist" The author, James Dator, a man who views every aspect of sports from his own extremist ideology, goes on for four paragraphs to cite a rumor that Hogan told Vince McMahon that Jesse Ventura was trying to start a wrestlers union. Based on that one unsourced item, Dator determined that Hogan is an egoist. This article proves once again what most of us already knew. SBNation is an outlier, not part of legitimate mainstream sports journalism. They ran a hateful hit piece on a sports entertainment icon at a time when his body was still warm, and his family, friends, and tens of millions of fans worldwide were still grieving.
