  1. I think that prediction has been around since the days of the original owner. Sorry. I'm not a Tina Fey fan. I loved her as Sarah Palin on SNL, but I don't laugh at her movies and I don't laugh at her TV work. I tried to enjoy her talent, but laughing has to be organic.
  2. Most of the questions that have been asked on this board have been asked and answered over and over again. New members come and go, but the questions remain the same. Gay men like to talk about sex. There's nothing complicated about it.
  3. The law is a very complicated service business, often with strict requirements. Comparing the needs of a customer with a specific legal issue to the needs of a customer seeking escort services is silly.

  5. Any service business with this attitude deserves no customers.
  6. I've never been on Grindr, but that's what I've also heard. I think you can also look to porn. It may be possible that a lot of guys who hire view a lot of porn. When certain gays get horny, their speech can quickly turn into a bad porn script. They wrongly assume that every escort is like them when they are horny, and they assume escorts are horny all the time and enjoy hearing shit talk. It never made any sense to me. I find that most men who attempt to talk dirty actually fail miserably. Language is an art form and many Americans are suffering. Some argue it's the decline in reading. Others blame the internet and social media. Wow. Imagine any other service provider making such a statement to a consumer. To me, those chosen words are a bigger turn-off than someone talking shit. Words matter.
  7. @BENJAMIN Nicholas What's a fetch? (edit) Nevermind. I googled it. lol. I never saw the movie Mean Girls. I'm way too old for certain movie plots.
  8. Sounds like they were anticipating a raid. If I were an undocumented worker, I wouldn't want to get caught these days. Back in my spa days, we had a few undocumented workers working for us. Whenever inspectors came around, we gave those workers instructions to simply leave the premises immediately when word got to them. Drop whatever they were doing and leave. This was before cell phones. They knew to call to find out when the coast was clear.
  9. A little over-dramatic I would say. But reading your signature, I see you offer the warning to read at one's own risk.
  10. And for that level of service he wants $180? I guess my dad was right, there's a sucker born every minute.
  11. A large percentage of gay massage ads state explicitly that you will leave "happy." What else are you supposed to infer from that? No legit spa would ever use that word in its advertising because they know what the word implies. Most gay massage men are smart enough to figure out how to entice the gay or bi customer. Especially for the non-CMT, LMT therapists, they know the word play to use. If you have no training in massage, what else are you selling on these massage sites?
  12. He's not the only recommended massage guy on this board who doesn't respond to calls for an appointment. If a massage guy does not return my call, I move on. I do not want to be with a massage therapist who does not appreciate my business. If you're too busy to take new customers, then kindly tell me so. I may try to contact you in the future when it's very likely you'll need a new income source. It seems to me, some of these guys don't do this work full time or don't want to do massage on a regular schedule, or they only want to work when they're in the mood or need money, perhaps. I know from experience some guys get worn out. Burned out. If you don't love the work or you quickly tire of building a happy ending following where that's all the customer cares about, burn out can easily happen. The HE customers who don't care about massage really want sex, no matter what form that takes. Imagine the constant pressure of having to give more to men you don't find particularly attractive as a means to keep your loyal customers "happy." It takes a lot of energy to give a good massage. Add the pressure of jacking off guys until they cum, and I imagine a very exhausting day. My arm and hand hurt just thinking about it. Sure, it can be fun and rewarding, with certain clients. But 5 times a day times 5 days a week. I'd be dead.
  13. Thank you for the correction. I'm grateful for the edit feature. Not only did I correct the name, I corrected the spelling.
  14. Some may be CMT or LMT. If you have the gift, it can't hurt to pursue an education or accreditation in the field. If you're the right person, giving a great massage is a fun way to control your future income possibilities, while remaining your own boss. It could be a terrific life choice.
  15. Posting photos of clients who slighted him? What could the slights possibly be that would warrant such evil retribution. Wouldn't most clients be absolute fans? I don't know much about porn stars so I confess to know nothing about Austin Wilde. That said, he sounds like bad news and someone to seriously avoid.
  16. After viewing the video, no reasonable person could conclude that the flight attendant did not know he was being recorded. Whether he knew the video would be posted on the internet is another story. My question is, did the flight attendant know that he would be kissing his career in the airline industry goodbye? Isn't this the perfect example of a gay guy thinking with the brain in his cock as opposed to the one in his head? What are the chances that anyone in the airline industry would ever hire him again? Sue Austin Wolf? I suppose that is an option. If no contract exists between AW and flight attendant to post the video on the internet, it seems to me a case could be made. Flight attendant would need to find a good lawyer and be able to afford the retainer. How much money could he and his lawyer hope to get? How deep are AW's pockets? Does AW have assets? Could he lose his home, car, etc., assuming he owns any? No matter what, it seems on the surface that AW fucked the flight attendant real good. A fair question, what was AW's motive in posting the video? Unless the flight attendant wanted it public, AW looks like a horse's ass.
  17. Thank you for that confirmation. It is important that someone speak up when false information is posted. Someone providing false information can be hurtful to a guy's business. There are so many talented massage therapists who charge almost half of what Mj charges. I suppose staring at a smile forever might be a reason for someone to cough up an extra $90. Since I'm face down for half the time and my eyes are closed when I'm on my back, I don't get much benefit from falling in love with a massage therapist's face. However, if a therapist thinks he can capitalize on his good looks and remain fully clothed during the service, then more power to him.
  18. $180 for 60 minutes is way beyond my budget, especially if he remains dressed. Also, I won't support someone using fake pics.
  19. He is a cute Asian. I'd like to know if he has any massage skill. His ad is practically useless.
  20. I've had massage on most surfaces. Some guys came to my apartment and put me on the wood floor with an exercise mat. Some guys had me on a futon. Another had me on his sofa bed. One guy had me on a mattress that was on the floor. Another guy had me on his Murphy bed. These days I require a professional table with a headrest extension. I'm too old and crippled to handle anything else. I've never had a table or bed break, however, if one does break and the customer is injured, the massage therapist working out of his home could face serious legal ramifications. It gets worse if your lease or local laws prohibit you from performing a service business out of your home. It does not pay to use inferior equipment when you are working on strangers.
  21. I can't speak for every location, but in New York City, when a masseur is working out of his home, he has to consider a lot of factors. Where is the customer coming from? How is the customer getting to the masseur? If the customer is driving, car traffic and parking are going to be an issue. If he's using public transportation, all sorts of things can and will go wrong. How challenging is finding my apartment? Do I have to go downstairs to meet the customer and bring him up? If the massage therapist books back-to-back appointments, he has two choices. Either he front loads his customers (early) or he back loads them (allowing for lateness). You can only do both successfully if you're willing to limit the number of people you see in one day. If the therapist encourages clients to come a little early, and someone can't get there on time, it could have a domino effect on the rest of the day's bookings. All it takes is one late client to destroy the "come a little early" process. If most of your customers come from outside your neighborhood and you allow a little time for everyone to arrive late, then you can't accommodate early arrivals. You never want to find yourself with two customers in your space at the same time. Privacy, privacy, privacy. It's very difficult for a massage therapist to accommodate all events that are out of his control. But a true professional will try his best and settle on a preferred process. It's very nice when a masseur states that process in his ad. Masseurs who work in private spaces also have to consider bathroom time. Some customers need to pee and wash their hands, 3 minutes. Or they have to poop, which can take up to 15 min. Some want to take a shower before and after, 15 min each. No two clients are the same, so the massage therapist has to juggle all these needs. Thankfully, many massage therapists know how they like to work, especially if they are experienced. There's a well known guy who states in his ad that he will only see 2 people a day. It's pretty safe to assume that he's good on the front and the back, regarding time.
  22. Sounds very professional to me. "A few minutes early" is not 20 minutes in most therapist's mind. Also, does your watch match the masseur's? Timing for individual taste and preference is always a juggling act, especially in a professional spa. The nice thing about a spa, management sets the parameters. If a masseur does not like those, he can go work elsewhere. When a masseur works on his own, he is free to book as he wishes. And his business lives or dies by that process. There is no management dictating parameters. Masseurs are not robots. Each has his own way of doing things. Each has his own needs and preferences. Greed may be one factor. But I can think of many other factors why a masseur would not be perfect at scheduling.
  23. Take it from someone experienced in the spa business, never show up early for an appointment. Do not call to announce that you are early. It's not so much a problem for someone working in a spa, there's typically a waiting area for customers. If you're dealing with someone who works privately, showing up early will most likely throw a wrench into the entire zen operation. Depending how a masseur books, these guys need down time in between appointments and that down time can vary. It's an energy thing that most lay folk don't understand. Also, it can take some customers a long time to get off the table. Not everyone exits at the same speed. It's very difficult to ask someone who has just had a massage to hurry up, and it's not easy to schedule these unknown minutes. Many masseurs grab a quick bite to eat between appointments to feed their energy. The last thing they want is their eating time interrupted. The guy was flat out wrong to treat you the way he did. There is no excuse for that. He would have been fired under my watch. When a guy works for himself, his diva-ness can take over, and his customer service skills can be thrown out the window. If you wish to stay on the good side of a masseur, especially one working out of his home, never show up early for your appointment (unless the masseur says to call if you do).
  24. This guy Carlos is well known. He's been around for a long time, making a lot of guys happy. He was ever present on Craigslist. I have a hot, young friend who went to him twice. He stopped going because the massage skill was lacking, and Carlos was more interested in having sex each time. I know a lot of guys enjoy penetration with their massage. I have no idea how many guys Carlos can turn in one day to make the rent worth the trouble. But the thought of not having a shower causes me serious concern. This is the reason I avoided him. I have no idea if condoms fit into the mix. I was too afraid to ask my friend.
  25. I've been with a number of massage guys mentioned on this thread. I think certain member's definition of hung may be connected to the massage fantasy in their mind, or have a direct relationship to the size of their own cock. When someone uses the word hung as it appears in the title of this thread, I picture something like this: HUNG. None of the guys on this thread that I have seen come anywhere close to this.
