He does have a smile that could weaken a few knees.

It may not have been Roseanne Barr's infamous version, but I sincerely doubt anyone will be buying it on iTunes. In that sense, it was horrible.

On the ice, Cizerone's body is a bit giraffe-like. He often has the look of a snotty French drag queen, or he's been smelling too much Roquefort. He's certainly not shy about taking his clothes off. http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/830263ggggg.jpg Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizerone are quite a skating pair. Had it not been for the wardrobe malfunction, they might have taken home the gold. Gabriella is not the most beautiful woman in skating, but she knows how to work what beauty she has. They possess a powerful spirit when they pair skate. Their performances are awesome.

Perhaps questioning it once again. Fergie did have an interesting career in music, but she was never Whitney Houston. If you aren't Whitney Houston, and you're offered an opportunity to sing the Star-Spangled Banner on national tv, it's a good idea to have someone in your life to remind you that you're not Whitney Houston, and that you should sing the song "straight" and avoid all chances of having to do an apology tour afterwards.

If I were into girly boys, probably Johnny. He seems like more fun. Rippon is seriously plucked. Every hair has its place. Reminds me of We-Ho queens who suffered during toilet-training and now do porn.

Love the campaign. Very disappointed they did not cap donations at $100 for 2000 entries. With all the "make a bigger impact" choices, wealthy people will stand a MUCH better chance at winning this prize. Clearly the charities are shooting for the bigger bucks, and I suppose why not go for the greed. Perhaps less people will consider the under $100 choices when they think about their chances. I question whether this was smart marketing, since most of the true fans of this film can't afford to make a $5,000 donation.

I'm not sure what world you live in, but 1890 seems about right for the IOC and U.S. network news up until recently. It's one thing for "gay" skaters to be "pretty much" accepted. It's a whole other thing for a skinny, twink-type, 33-year-old male, who dresses like the Sultan of Oman's daughter, to be hired and paid as an official commentator for the Olympics. Clearly, someone in power is looking to the future and trying to figure out how to get younger people to watch, since ratings are not great.
-
That's kind of my point. Gays can be quite competent, and they're showing us their competence in South Korea. It's stunning to me how "gay" Johnny Weir truly is. And it's also stunning that his gayness is being accepted by all corners of these very traditionally conservative organizations. A serious breakthrough, IMO.

Step Inside Johnny Weir's Closet Watch out for the glitter and sequins flying into your eyes.

I wouldn't throw Bruno out of my bed. I like a handsome, masculine guy who isn't afraid of crying. Adam Rippon has a nice face and a super-tight body. His ass seems amazing. But when he opens his mouth to speak, I'm oddly reminded of the shrill sound of Nancy Kerrigan's scream when Shane Stant clubbed her in the leg. Rippon is a bit too femme for my sexual taste, but I do enjoy watching him skate.

Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski are fun because they're both drag queens. This year's winter Olympics are the gayest I've ever seen. That's certainly a plus for me.

My interactions with PM's have been very helpful and appreciated. I haven't encountered rudeness or poor behavior. Thank you to all the guys who offered helpful information.

It sounds like you assumed something that you shouldn't have. Take responsibility for your communication fuck-up. This is how you learn to never make the same mistake again.

Diana Ross at Super Bowl XXX Halftime Show
rogerG replied to LoveNDino's topic in TV and Streaming services
I must have missed this back in the day. I love Diana Ross, but that was the most overproduced spectacle I've ever seen. In true form, Miss Ross will do anything to distract from her singing. She spent more time tripping over her costume changes and trying to control her blowing weave, she left the audience to sing her lyrics, which has become her trademark. Her voice and music are much too light for the Super Bowl. -
I know a nut case of a woman who can't seem to live or travel without her toy dog. She's on her 4th teacupper since I've known her. The woman is the type who sprays her body with Estée Lauder perfume before she enters a room. She once told me she sprayed her last dog, too, insisting her micro pet loved the scent. Not 4 years old, the toy dog developed cancer. The woman paid a fortune to give the dog chemo treatments. The dog died. For months I listened to this woman and her dog woes, all the while thinking she needs serious therapy and deserves jail time for mistreatment of animals. When it comes to pets, some people are absolutely crazy.

I'm not sure I can completely agree with that. The film is a modest effort. Their lack of money shows, but it keeps the film more real and grounded. Less like a typical, over-produced Nancy Meyer/Hollywood fairytale. The difference between cost of CMBYN and Moonlight could easily be calculated in the exchange rate. The dance scene stuck with me, too. Sometimes it's difficult to stop the song from playing in my head. I remember falling in love with a few guys by watching them dance on the dance floor. In my youth, went dancing almost every weekend. It's a brief but pivotal moment in the film for Elio, who moves with such sensual fluidity. You really can tell a lot about a person by the way he dances. Watching Armie grimace every time he talks about making the dance scene reminds me of all the tall guys I've known who felt totally awkward on a dance floor. I thought Armie did a great job disguising his extreme discomfort.

@GregM Bitch is 68. No Bitch appreciates anyone adding a decade to her life. I suppose Lupone has paid dues, although she has been known to treat fellow cast members like shit from a very early stage in her career. I have friends who worked with her in Evita. They did not like her attitude. I have to agree with you there. The B'way divas either do it live or they don't it at all. Props to the Bitch. Sat through the entire Grammy's and felt I received a lobotomy. No wonder the show had the lowest ratings in history, which is pitiful given it was the 60th Anniversary show. There isn't one song or one performance that I'd like to see or hear again. So much for the state of the music industry in 2018. Album of the Year winner Bruno Mars released his album well over a year ago. And the Grammy president is out there saying "not enough creative women out there to win awards." I suspect he'll be offering an apology or resigning soon. The Grammy act... What a dud.

The version I saw had good subtitles, but I preferred keeping my eyes on the boys. I love to watch them interact with each other. But I also wanted to read the English translation, so it was a challenge to stay focused. I read it was Luca's decision. Timothée wasn't the only French-speaking actor cast. Esther Garrel, who plays his female friend, is French. A discussion around making the family more "European" occurred. I'm sure there was additional discussion about the potential for more ticket sales if they added French language to the mix. Hence, promoting the film in France.

My opinion on Broadway singers is overly critical. I have always thought Patti Lapone's voice overrated. She's been doing strange placement things with it since she's been getting older, which I hear is common for aging Broadway belters. Not only did she look as thick as a tree trunk at the Grammy's, she sounded very shrill and full of herself. I saw her in Evita several times, and I've seen her in concert twice. But ever since I saw her in the last revival of Gypsy, I've been more and more disappointed. I don't think she will ever have the instrument she once had. She sounds like a very loud and shrill warbler to my ears. She always had a tendency to warble. Even worse was Ben Platt, another overrated singer. I've never heard a worse rendition of Somewhere, even worse than Diana Ross' back in the 70's. Platt has the most irritating vibrato. Much worse than Josh Groban's, another very popular singer I can't listen to. Some people in the theater treat Platt as if he is the new Streisand. What a joke. My ears are in agony when he sings. I doubt he would get past the first round on The Voice or the former American Idol. I once considered myself a theater queen. I sang show tunes as a teenager. As I get older, my taste in great singers has changed a lot, often to my surprise. Sorry if I disappointed the Lupone/Platt fans with my overly critical opinion.

It's a fun video to take in but not an easy one to watch. The English translation does appear at the bottom of the screen. The bilingual Timothée is adorable, and so are Armie's reactions to him, since Armie doesn't speak a word of French. The ending edit is a disaster. They cut to some awful music group just when you think the interview should continue.

They are currently taking London by storm. The last question in the interview asks about Armie's balls. The interviewer is pretty bad, but the guys handle it well.

I don't think personal hurts are silly at all, or the notion that a movie can manipulate them. If you allow yourself to be open, CMBYN is the type of film that will tug at your heart, no matter what your sexual orientation is. For some, the tug reaches deeper. I found it really helps to see the movie more than once. At least that's been my personal therapy. At $17 a viewing, I've never before spent so much money on a movie. @goeffers Thanks for sharing such a personal experience. I, too, felt a certain fascination towards Armie, but for different reasons. In the last two months, I think I may have learned just about everything there is to know about him. He can be surprisingly candid in interviews, depending on his mood that day. He seems like a really cool guy, with a very patient wife. Armie claims that the personal bond that formed off-camera between he and Timothée Chalamet turned out to be crucial to his experience. Timothée says something similar. It very well may be the luck of the gods that propelled these two guys to form an honest bond. Most actors don't get very close, let alone develop deep friendships when working on a project together. It very much seems that their new friendship fueled their respective performances. They were in a space where it was OK to be more vulnerable, and that was just the magic ingredient that Luca Guadagnino needed to spark this project.

I'll bet the percentage of guys doing HE massages are not licensed, and probably have no formal training. Getting a massage license is not cheap. For those who do hold a license and enjoy being sensual with the customers, talking openly about how far they go is probably not a welcome thing. The risk of losing the license is very real, although the budget for state inspectors is small. I know a few cops but I've never heard of any cop busting a gay male massage therapist for providing a HE. But I don't live in a city where that would be considered a productive use of taxpayer money.
