  1. I don't care what numbers are put forth. The cost of a bullet to Manson's head before he got arrested would have been just fine with me.
  2. I feel sorry for the taxpayers who had to foot the bill for his long life in prison. If ever there was a justification for the death penalty, Manson's crime demanded it.
  3. Unfortunately, that kind of respect is getting more and more difficult of find.
  4. What can you expect from a party that has 3 different hosts? A roommate situation is not the same as a married couple or a single person acting as host. How old were these people? I don't know anybody who has roommates at my age. I found the original posting confusing, and I'm still confused. Why would it matter to you how much money was spent on food and beverages if you weren't one of the hosts? You said all your beer was gone. Were you asked to contribute to the food and beverage cost? Did you volunteer? Was the party a "bring your own beverage" deal? I have been to "bring your own beverage" parties in my youth. A party like this is usually hosted by someone who wants to throw a party but can't afford the costs associated with being a good host. Already bad etiquette. In these cases, someone always gets treated unfairly. If the party is "bring your own beverage," and you have a particular favorite, I learned to find a way to carefully hide it from others, or, bring more than enough to anticipate the unexpected and take home the un-used.
  5. When I was in my later teens, performing in community theater, it was pretty common for older gay men to "grab crotch," and prey on the younger boys. I was warned to watch out for certain men at cast parties, especially the parties that served liquor. The "grab crotch" guys did it as if they had some sacred right to do it. Add alcohol and cigarette breath to their assault, and perhaps you can imagine the dread I felt. As a teen, I never liked having my package grabbed unprovoked. It wasn't sexy, because it was irritating. Even as an adult, I prefer a more gentle hand. I was not into guys older than I was. It took many years of maturing before I could figure all this out and decide how I wanted to behave and how I wanted to be treated. I could see the "grab crotch" men of those days hating what's going on now. It puts them in their place and warns them. Lay off, and keep your fucking hands and tongues to yourself.
  6. Steam rooms are generally hot places. I have an old friend who loved having sex in a steam room. It was his turn-on thing. Between bath houses and gyms, he had been doing it for 3 decades. It was definitely 80% of his sex life, if not more. Eventually, he began having blood pressure problems and could no longer achieve erections, especially in the steam room. After numerous tests, it was determined that his heart had enlarged. Doctors think the enlargement could have been exacerbated by continual over-exposure to steam rooms. He has since had heart surgery, and can't live a healthy life without taking quite a few pills a day. His sex life is pretty much over. He just turned 56. I've always preferred a dry sauna, by I can't take high heat for too long. My skin gets a rash if I'm in the sun too long.
  7. I don't know, and I don't really care. My comment about cheapness was a generalization. I'm sure some famous folk are indeed generous. It seems to me, gay male predators are wired differently when it comes to sex. Perhaps it's possible to create a "fantasy scene," but it doesn't seem the norm for escorts to provide this particular thrill, especially if the predator likes boys under 18.
  8. If the cock goes limp in the steamroom, it's a good time see a doctor. Could be a sign of a heart condition.
  9. Yes, however, you quoted me out of context. My quote refers to Spacey living in NYC and having access to expensive escorts. My quote had nothing to do with Spacey at age 26.
  10. Famous actors and actresses are notoriously cheap. They tend to believe they deserve everything for free because they're "famous." It should be your pleasure to service them. They are often flooded with free gifts and perks, so it's easy to get spoiled and feel entitled.
  11. It may not be fair to speculate, but is it any wonder why he was so careful to keep his private life "private?" IME, predators tend to be very controlling people, and they really like to control what others say about them. Hiding under the premise of "privacy" helps to tamper rumors. One can only imagine the trail of gropes and forced tongue lashings that Spacey has left behind. I can see a lot more men coming forward with their stories.
  12. With all due respect, I didn't really consider what "point" you were trying to make. I was just commenting on Kevin Spacey's looks and what I might have thought of them at the age of 14, knowing how I feel about them now.
  13. The world of a high-end spa/salon offers very little when compared to the HE style massage services that are often discussed on this board. They are two entirely different worlds. Don't get me wrong, we saw a lot of "hot" people in our business. Not only among therapists working in the massage rooms but also among the customer base. Good looks in the beauty/spa business can augment $$$. We dealt with a lot of lawsuits through the years. They were always fascinating stories. I remember one female customer who supposedly fell in love with her massage therapist. He was a hot guy, talented, too. She was a wealthy nutcase who continually pressured him to go further. At one point, he wanted to quit seeing her as a customer. She brought a lot of money into the salon, so the situation was very delicate. Eventually, a confrontation took place, and she sued, claiming the massage therapist tried something sexual on her. She was just angry that the therapist rejected her, and her lawsuit was pure vindictiveness. Luckily, the entire ordeal was well documented by management. The case was eventually dropped. But it was a nightmare for awhile. Her name became known in spas on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
  14. In many top spas, if a customer complains about an experience turning sexual, the service provider will most likely be fired or suspended immediately. In the spa where I worked, naked massage customers were always covered with a luxury sheet during a massage. No one was allowed to lie on the plush massage beds uncovered. There will always be men and women who attempt to break the rules, no matter gay or straight. In a professional environment, especially high-end, the rules tend to be very strict, mostly because there is a lot of money on the line. Lawsuits can be a serious problem in this realm.
  15. I'll take a pass on that. Never found the guy attractive at all. Bad skin. Bad hair. And from what we can see on House of Cards, his body isn't much to look at either. He has talent. I guess if you like fucking talent...
  16. A Playbill pic of Rapp? Do you mean a cover advertisement for a play? How old is Rapp's character in the play? Is Rapp not playing a character when he posed for the Playbill cover? Was is not the photographer's job to capture Rapp's character looking as though he is a specific age? I haven't seen the Playbill cover, but IMO that is not the appropriate source to judge whether Rapp was pre or post puberty. Professional photography almost always has an agenda. It's very rare for a professional photograph to reveal the entire truth about an individual, especially if the photo is being used to sell something. A simple quote from Psychology Today: "Pedophilia is defined as the fantasy or act of sexual activity with children who are generally age 13 years or younger."
  17. It's bad enough when the media uses the term incorrectly. It's very destructive when fellow gay men fall into that trap. In the professional world of psychiatry, there's a cut-off point for prepubescence. There is absolutely no evidence that Kevin Spacey is a pedophile, and we gay men should not stand by and let the media distort that fact. Certain media sources love to pin being gay with being a pedophile. We need to call them on their bullshit agenda and expose the fuckers for what they really are. It wouldn't surprise me that Spacey either saw Rapp's performance or knew about the moment captured in the photo. I could see Spacey using that moment as a device to launch his "attack," making everything sort of seem normal, in a theatrical sense. Once Rapp fell to the bed with Spacey on top of him, things could have transitioned to weird very fast. A lot of us don't remember what are brains were like at 14, and most of us don't have any experience being seduced by an adult Broadway actor, when as a teenager, we're trying to build a career of our own in the theater business.
  18. I can see how some people might view it as exploitation, but people who view it that way probably do not work in the beauty/spa business and never will. A "test" is a more truthful word choice. Most auditions or job interviews are some version of a test. In the beauty/spa business, the "test" often includes performing your service as part of the audition. There is no serious way to judge someone's talent until you see, experience, or "test" their work. People can write anything on a resume. In the beauty/spa business, the proof is in the work/talent. If you are a new service provider in the beauty/spa business, either starting out or with a very small following, the only way to convince someone new to hire you, you have to "perform" your talent and be judged. This is a serious requirement of the interview process. If you're not willing and eager to do it, no one serious will hire you. Well-established service providers typically have a "following" of clients. Depending on what their "volume" is (the projected number of people expected to follow the service provider), an audition may not be necessary. It usually is not necessary. However, if the busy service provider really wants to work at a particular spa or salon, he/she will often offer to do a "test" service even if one is not required.
  19. I know a few people who have survived sexual harassment, including a few rapes. "Complete sense" is not a requirement for me. I can't put myself in their shoes, so I'm not the one who needs to fully judge the details. Rapp claims Spacey's "act" always bothered him. In show business, it would be very unusual for a teenage boy to rat out on an older actor. Most friends advise, "keep your mouth shut!" I'm sure plenty of actors engage in predatory behavior among other show folk. I don't think we're going to see a groundswell of individual confessions. Rapp said it was the recent brave women who inspired him to speak out loud. I saw Rapp in Rent 7 times. I was an early addict of that show. Rapp and Adam Pascal made my heart flutter. Loved them both.
  20. This just in: Netflix is halting its current production of House of Cards, which began taping a week and a half ago. The powers that be want to review the Spacey situation a bit more closely. Personally, I wouldn't mind if Season 6 opened with Frank Underwood's fatal heart attack. Claire could continue the story and be just as devious as Frank was, if not more. A whole new cast of characters could be introduced. The show could thrive with a few more seasons. I hope they consider this an opportunity instead of a loss. The supporting players are really good and they don't deserve to lose their jobs because Spacey is a horse's ass.
  21. He may not be gay, but the hit that Mark Halperin is taking from the Weinstein fallout is astounding. I think almost every employer he's had has dropped him, including high-profile jobs that were on the burner. He goes from the top of his game to fully unemployed in a matter of two weeks. The rug has been completely pulled from under his feet. Can't help but wonder if he saved a lot of money. What does a famous journalist do when no one will give him a job? If lawyers come after him, whatever money he has saved may disappear quickly. It is fascinating to watch these veteran successful people fall so hard. I'm sure it provides some comfort to their victims.
  22. The 6th season of House of Cards has already begun shooting. But Netflix wasted no time to end the series in light of this breaking news. It really is hard to see how Spacey can recover from this. Twitter is having a field day responding to the way he handled his apology.
  23. I believe Rapp is quoted today, saying he was picked up "like a bride" and taken to Spacey's bed when Spacey laid on top of him once there. I don't believe Rapp went willingly to Spacey's bed. No matter what the details were regarding two male thespians alone in Spacey's home, Spacey crossed a serious line by trying to seduce a 14-year-old boy into having sex, even if the 14-year-old was a willing accomplice, which it seems Rapp was not.
  24. Looks like Spacey's career is over. Nobody will want to be associated with him now. Can only imagine the men who will come forward soon to out all the gay predators in business. If this truly is a watershed moment, the shit will hit the fan. Corey Feldman is very close to going public on Hollywood's pedophilia ring. Nobody is going to ignore him now.
  25. I wouldn't concern myself with what others think of me or my questions. Someone on the internet is bound to be disagreeable at some point. You just ignore them. I tend to think there is no such thing as a dumb question. Just dumb and unkind people. Don't think it's a good idea to judge your own looks, either. It's not easy to second guess the sexual turn-ons of others. Some of history's most talented seducers were not considered model types.
