  1. I just checked a provider's review through the service you mentioned (hide.me). It worked just fine. I could read the narratives.
  2. Despite his less-than-good written English, his spoken English is quite good. I use to see him often in the saunas in Rio and with friends, but I have not seen him for more than five years. At that time, he still looked in good shape and he was close to age 40.
  3. What a coincidence that you mentioned him. I met him more than ten years ago in Rio. He is quite bright and is a pleasant person. He is also very businesslike. His English is not bad despite what he says on his website. He comes to the U.S. fairly often and still advertises on rentmen even though he is rather successful in Brazil in matters unrelated to escorting. Every now and again I see his advertisement on rentmen for the NYC area. For being almost 45, he is in great shape, if the photos are reasonably current.
  4. I have not met him. However, if you use a VPN to read the many reviews in his account, he seems to be real and has some nice things said about him. He has one negative review but it appeared to be from a disgruntled client. Only one bad review does not mean much compared to the other numerous five-star reviews. Based on his ad, he seems like a good provider. The only odd thing I find is that he is circumcised but also Brazilian. In my many years of traveling to Brazil and to the saunas there, I have encountered only one other Brazilian who was circumcised. Truly an unusual thing for a Brazilian. Read his VPN reviews, you might like him.
  5. You are correct. Generally, an escort has an active "shelf life" of only a few years. There is no question that conventional inflation rates for services do not reflect service rates of escorts during the current increase in fees that went from around $250 (or less) a couple of years ago to $350 then $500 (or more) currently. Inflation rates for services of other professions did not come anyway near 100% as are many (not all) current escort fees.
  6. Funny how we can get different answers depending on where we research. You cited the NY Times which has a good reputation. However, look at what the Macro Minutes says (also a good reputation) while discussing the different elements of inflation: For our first post in 2023, we pick up right where we left off: discussing inflation. The last news we received after the mid-December FOMC meeting came from November PCE inflation. Declines in goods prices helped bring down the overall inflation rate. Prices for goods decreased 0.4 percent, while prices for services rose 0.4 percent. On a year-over-year basis, goods inflation (6.1 percent) is still higher than services inflation (5.2 percent). With goods inflation and services inflation moving in opposite directions, which measure should we pay more attention to? 7. Not a good comparison. A "lawyer or therapist" could face legal consequences if they behaved as do many providers. This also applies to many other hourly professionals. Escort providers often cancel without warning, do not always do as they say they will, "ghost" a client, and sometimes use fake photos in their ads - - just to mention a few differences between those professions.
  8. You got it backward when quoting me. I was not judgmental about who PAYS - - - - - My posts had to do with the pricing some providers charge.
  9. This forum is usually a fun place to visit and participate. However, it is not enjoyable to see you repeatedly distort my posts and quote me inappropriately. I did not say that I could not afford the recently inflated increased provider fees, as you implied in your current and prior posts, attributing your responses to me as you did again in your post cited above. In my posts about the higher provider prices, I made it clear that I did not have a problem affording high prices. I expressed in my prior posts why the higher prices are not something in which I chose to participate. I hope you now understand.
  10. And, countless other clients who use logic when hiring.
  11. Just curious, what "leverage" does the $240 payment to rentmen give a client versus putting your privacy at risk for having your information on an escort site? You know, of course, even if you pay rentmen anonymously, your IP address still identifies you. Where is the "leverage"?
  12. I would agree with your statement if you did not include the word "most". Contrary to your post, many of us can afford the currently scattered unrealistic escort rates. However, many of us have learned to respect value and, consequently, not hire overpriced providers. To me, there is a lack of logic for a financially able client to pay an unrealistic and inflated price for a small amount of entertainment from a provider. If some partake, all the best for them and the provider. Many of us became financially independent because we did not and do not throw our money away on overpriced items, including some escorts.
  13. We are all different people with different values and beliefs. The fact that you are "willing" to pay an inflated price for an escort causes their prices to continually increase up and up and up. Although I can afford to pay higher prices, I believe there is value in just about everything in life, including escorts. To make it simple, if I go to the market and see a candy bar for sale and the candy bar is overpriced at $20.00, I will not buy it despite the fact that I can financially afford to buy the overpriced candy bar. If another customer in the market is foolish enough to encourage inflation and pay the asking price of $20.00 for the candy bar, more power to the other customer. The other person is unknowingly hurting the economy by paying inflated prices. On the other hand, I believe that most things in life have reasonable value. The provider asking $600.00 for one hour of his time is unrealistic and will not be included in my future hiring despite my ability to pay the ridiculously overpriced hourly rate.
  14. Was the "provider" joking or just wishful thinking?
  15. Paying $240 dollars per year to Rentmen merely to be able to write a review about an escort and to see some homemade video clips of the escort is overpriced. Most Rentmen clients know that if a review of an escort is not a five-star review, the reviews usually end up being deleted from an escort's account not long after the negative review gets posted. Thus, where is the actual benefit to a client for paying $240 dollars (annually) to Rentmen? Non-paying clients hire escorts from Rentmen. Now that reviews are not accepted from non-paying Rentmen clients, the Rentmen site is missing an unknown amount of critical information that would normally appear in reviews of Rentmen escorts. To have Rentmen reject reviews of escorts from non-paying members of Rentmen is short-sighted and is a disservice to Rentmen clients.
  16. Go back to normal? What is normal? The period of time when streets were filled with hustlers has come and gone. What is there now (nothing) is the new "normal" as far as hustlers go. Selma Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard were involved in an era that will not return. Time marches on!
  17. He has been a member of RM for one and one-half years without even one review. He makes appointments with people but always ghosts them and never meets them. If he is really an Austrian model, why is his advertisement on RM in the Los Angeles section? Why does he call himself Socalmuscleboy? (Southern California muscle boy) if he is an Austrian model? Things do not compute!
  18. Well, the above link with the "borrowed" photo explains the reason he never meets with anyone he schedules. It also explains the lack of any RM reviews over a seventeen-month period.
  19. His rentmen ad has a strange message on it for potential clients which states: ⚠️❌ ABSOLUTELY NO ONGOING CONVERSATIONS, IF YOU HAVE CONTACTED ME BEFORE AND WASTED MY TIME OVER TEXT AND CONTINUE TO CONTACT ME YOU WILL BE BLOCKED AND I WILL REPORT YOUR PHONE NUMBER TO MY CELL PHONE CARRIER AND TO THIS SITE FOR HARASSMENT.
  20. Many rentmen users do not want to be "premium" members because the payments made to rentmen cause the payer to lose their anonymity. The payment amount is small. It is the fact of losing privacy that many clients will not be premium members with rentmen. To degrade non rentmen premium members is not logical.
  21. Agree wholeheartedly for a number of reasons. Privacy is at risk to rentmen by being a premium member.
  22. Do you want to make a bet on that given his prior history?
