  1. A dozen years ago, in Sao Paulo, there were seven nice saunas including the former Lagoa that used to be in a space of three buildings joined to appear as one huge building. Building investors decided to tear down the three buildings that used to be Lagoa in order to build some large high rise apartments and commercial rentals. Lagoa (with a slight name change) moved to its small current location. For reasons unknown, the new Lagoa has remained in business after moving to its current location but the other saunas went out of business one by one. There is another sauna in Sao Paulo named 555 but it is essentially dead being closed often and even when it is open, it usually has zero to a few customers. As to the newly opened sauna "Python", it seems that massages are more of a draw than garotos. Time will tell how it goes there.
  2. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We all can learn things everyday. I looked at the prostitution rules for Nevada. They are complicated. Although men are allowed to be prostitutes, their customers must be women. For anyone interested in reading the history of Nevada's wishy-washy prostitution rules, here is a brief summary: Prostitution in Nevada - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG
  3. Yes, in the U.S. prostitution is illegal. However, because both the provider and the customer are aware of the law, much caution is taken when engaging. Once in a rare occasion, in various cities in the U.S., police will place an advertisement with a provider site like "rentmen.eu" or a similar prostitution site to make a fake "reservation" in order to make an arrest of an unsuspecting gay guy answering the fake police ad. The police do not wear a uniform when they meet with the person responding to their bogus advertisement. The police ask the gay guy for money in advance. As soon as the money is given to the asking cop, suddenly several cops appear on the scene to make an arrest of the unsuspecting gay guy. One has to wonder what goes through the minds of the cops that engage in this type of law enforcement. Where is the victim? Our tax dollars at work protecting society - sure!
  4. Considering that he answered a rentmen.com advertisement and was, after being arrested, fined $250 for "disorderly conduct", rentmen should pay his fine. By the way, there is speculation above that he might have engaged with a woman. However, if you notice the film, he handed the money to an overcover cop, at which point the arrest occurred. If there was a woman involved, why would Snyder give the male cop money for sex?
  5. Variety is the spice of life.
  6. I have been to Paragonya countless times. I have never seen or heard of the Swiss police trying to arrest guys hustling. Considering the tiny amount of income tax that is being ignored, it does not make sense to pay higher earning police to spend so much time trying to catch hustlers who do not pay the Swiss government the small amount of tax that is lost. Could it be that someone exaggerated an erroneous rumor? I will be returning to Paragonya this fall and will do my own assessment of the situation.
  7. I never thought that Michelle Obama was a drag queen despite frequent accusations made. Therefore, I must politely disagree with you.
  8. Except when she publicly said those terrible things about Michelle Obama, calling her a drag queen. Not nice nor true.
  9. You said that you contacted an "older" masseur. Rather than him trying to be more flexible to your schedule, it is possible that since he is "older" that he does not need money and that scheduling a client is not that critical. It is possible that he needs only to keep busy with something to do and earn a little cash on the side as a validation factor.
  10. The sauna is not licensed as a hotel. For a nominal fee, some of the escorts spend the night at the sauna "under the table" and do not say much about their arrangement publicly. The sauna could get into trouble if the city found out that escorts can spend the night with or without a fee. Without any guarantee, when you are in the sauna, you might want to ask the front desk if you can stay the night with one of the escorts, provided the escort is agreeable. There might be some agreement with the city for such an arrangement.
  11. Where are attractive young men, ones that you would want and trust as a live-in companion?
  12. What a shame that you are going through that travesty. Of course, the law depends on which State the decedent lived, as each State has different, but sometimes similar, estate laws. The distant relatives you mentioned who had little to no contact with the decedent for decades and who were not mentioned in the will, would not get any money had the estate been in California, where I am. Good luck on a favorable settlement of the estate.
  13. I have seen American escorts at Thermas only a couple of times. I asked the rarely seen American escorts why they visited the Sauna. Their answer was "to make some extra money to finance" their overall European trip. I did not engage any American. I cannot see how they would make much money given the low price for an escort at Thermas.
  14. If your friend had a competent estate attorney draw up his will, you should not be going through that aggravation. Assuming your friend had a valid Will and leaving everything to you, I am puzzled why you are paying a lawyer to defend your friend's Will. Payments to defend the Will should be paid from the estate, not by you. Are you sure you have the appropriate attorney? Something does not compute unless your friend did not have a competent attorney draw up his Will. Good luck with closing the estate according to your friend's final wishes.
  15. I have known this escort several years. Below is the correct link to contact him - https://rentmen.eu/Tony_sdxx
  16. WAS is correct - The ravages of time!
  17. Unless you hire the provider, you are "wasting" his time by communicating to see if you possibly would be compatible if you two got together.

  19. There is a new sauna in Sao Paulo named Python scheduled to open around February 1. I do not have the exact address with me but it is located in a good neighborhood not far from Avenida Paulista on the far end opposite from Avenido Consolacao. This new sauna will be good for both clients and garotos. As most of us know, there is only one operating garoto sauna in Sao Paulo (Espacao Lagoa) while there used to be seven such type saunas in Sao Paulo about a dozen years ago. There is a sauna in Sao Paulo that opened a couple of years ago that has been a financial and workable disaster. It opened and closed many times. During the periods (many) it was operating there was nearly no activity with almost zero garotos and only a few clients. Let us hope that the new sauna will be a success and give bit of competition to the one garoto sauna that seems to be doing well financially in the largest populated city in Brazil. After I get more news, I will post again. Refreshing news, for sure.
  20. Effective the first of this year, the sauna in Rio de Janeiro known as Clube 117 is charging garotos an entrance fee of fifty reais. Although that amount is not great for most foreign visitors to Brazil, that R$50 entrance fee is quite a shock and hardship to most garotos. Most garotos live a fair distance from the sauna. Most pay a bus fee to get to the sauna. Effective now, they pay fifty reais (plus travel costs) just to enter the sauna to try to earn some hustling money. Some garotos do not meet any clients even though they go to the sauna and pay their fifty reais entrance fee. This means that the garoto wastes his time and bus money plus the fifty reais to enter the sauna without any guarantee that they will make any money by meeting a client in the sauna. The new entrance price that started for garotos the first of the year is a bad decision by Monik who raised the fee to that absurd amount. Like I said, maybe Monik is tired after all these years and just wants out of running the sauna. Who knows? I have been to Brazil countless times over many years and have seen numerous saunas go out of business for various reasons. Never have I seen an entrance fee for garotos to be fifty reais which is bound to prevent many garotos from entering (because they cannot afford the fee). Without garotos, clients are not going to go to a sauna that no longer has many garotos. Client only go to the sauna to meet garotos. A dozen years ago there were seven saunas in Rio. Now there are only two (Clube 117 and Pointe 202) plus a small sauna downtown that is rarely discussed in the forums. For some greedy reason, the owner of the sauna Clube 117 fails to realize that if there are no garotos in the sauna, clients have no incentive to spend their money to use the sauna. I can understand raising entrance fees for clients but raising the fee for garotos to R$50 is nothing but short-sighted and a reason to keep many garotos away because they lack money to gamble on whether they will make any money (if they contract with a client) after they enter the sauna. Obviously, with the increased garoto entrance fee, the saunas will have fewer garotos. This means that there will also be fewer clients (lost sauna revenue) because the clients only go to the sauna to meet garotos. Maybe Monik is tired of the sauna and an unreasonable fee to garotos is her way to close the sauna. I do not know her rational or reason. Maybe, in the future, the internet will be the only way to meet garotos. Junior, at Pointe 202 has not changed his fees to the garotos (yet). He might copy Clube 117 and raise his fee also. However, maybe he is smarter than I thought. Or, maybe after he sees the effect on Clube 117, he might raise the garoto entrance fee as did Monik. So, we now have two garoto saunas in Rio and only one garoto sauna (Lagoa) in Sao Paulo (out of twelve saunas we had twelve years ago). Of course, nothing lasts forever. However the high entrance fee to the garotos is almost death rattle for Clube 117. How sad it will be if Clube 117 sauna does go out of business.
  21. Remember, "50 in the sauna" does not mean $50. United States dollars. The guys want either Swiss francs or Euros. Those two currencies (francs and euros) are about $5.00 more money than the U.S. dollar. Saying it a different way, if the provider wants fifty francs or euros, paying him in dollars means that you are paying him about 45 francs or euros plus the inconvenience of exchanging the U.S. money to local currency. Even though it is only a little money difference, United States dollars are inconvenient to use in Switzerland and Europe to pay for items. Also, the guys do not like being "shorted" the 5 frans or euros.
  22. There is no "crackdown" at the sauna. I talked with a long-term bartender last week and he confirmed that the story about hustlers being forbidden is a joke. All is the same at Paragonya with respect to hustlers. Even if the sauna owner released the names of the hustlers who visit Paragonya, most hustlers are there for only a few days or a few weeks, at most, then they move on to another country to practice their trade or they return to their home country. Do you really think that the Swiss government is going to spend money and manpower resources to track down a few thousand francs in unpaid income taxes from hustlers that are no longer in Switzerland?
  23. Would you be so kind and tell me how the Swiss government could track cash income made to hustlers who are in the city for only a short period of time. The sex transactions are paid in cash to the hustler. Where is a physical record of the transaction (there is only a verbal transaction)? For the Swiss government to hire enough people to physically watch for untaxed small cash transactions to tax would be impractical and a waste of government money. Remember, the hustlers are in the sauna only a short time - - then they are gone. How would the government even know the true names of the hustlers or an address or anything else about them?
  24. GOOD LEGAL POINT - - - - - - - However, when dealing with prostitution and the Paragonya sauna, I suspect that most workers do not get a work permit. Tracking workers to confirm that they have a work permit would be an almost impossible job. When you enter Paragonya sauna), the hustlers are from numerous countries, including many from Brazil. Most, but not all of the hustlers are found in the sauna for only a few days to a few weeks, most, never to return after they leave Switzerland. I suspect that most (or all) of the hustlers did not go through the Swiss government to get a permit to work at Paragonya as a hustler or legal male prostitute. As many of us know from traveling to saunas around the world, most hustlers are "straight" or at least they claim they are. I personally know some that are married with children. I believe that they would not go through the government asking for a work permit to legally work as a male prostitute.
