  1. I was beaten to the punch on this one, but I sort of like its use to reflect what is being done as beyond expectations. 110% reduction is just silly. One of my minor peeves is 'x year anniversary'. The 'ann' part comes from 'year', so it should be 'x-th anniversary'. I'm not as concerned about expressions like '6 month anniversary' as they denote a shift in the meaning from a yearly marker to a marker of a significant (in the mind of the speaker) amount of time.
  2. Welcome to the forum, Parker. A calm explanation of the other side of threads like this one is always appreciated, and leaves us with a positive impression of you. There will still be those who disagree with your deposit policy, but you wouldn't be the first escort here to have an unpopular policy about clients and to win acceptance of their views (not universal acceptance, I hasten to add).
  3. No problems, no worries and the spoonerism no wucking forries (forries rhyming with worries) are in common usage in Australia, and as alluded to elsewhere play down the significance of what was done.
  4. I love this term: I love that it can usually be turned around on its user. The ironic use of this, or 'Bless his heart', is a gem to be encouraged. At the risk of overgeneralising, Southerners have a knack of saying, 'You're a dick', without saying it.
  5. Yup, and quite amusing on that level. On another level, it is a surprising reaction of a court to recognise that there was no underlying criminality and no likelihood of reoffending, so a reflexive decision to throw him in the slammer was not the appropriate thing to do. It can, however, be seen as a punishment for his wife as well as him, and she is innocent, at least innocent of the bank robbery.
  6. I wonder if these are still available (not this brand, this sort of canned ham). It's a while since I've seen one, but they were better than some of the sliced ham you can buy at the deli counter, and seemed to be a lump of ham rather than reconstituted ham meat. Useful for camping.
  7. Ughh!
  8. Thanks Lance, that's a great summary. @Eric Hassan posted it on Twitter a couple of days ago. It's worth reposting here and elsewhere again and again, it's great advice.
  9. Not about to argue with Doug!
  10. @WmClarke, Mike is wonderful!
  11. From one Mike to two others, the happiest of birthdays for @MikeCruiseNYC and @Mikegaite. Hope each of you has a great day. Pamper yourselves a little!
  12. Exercise I can relate to!

  14. I would be delighted if he had that smile while using that endowment on me! Gosh, did I say that?
  15. Widely reported on here and widely praised. I have seen nothing negative about Andrew. Nor do I think I ever will.
  16. Whereas, if it's a cute boy ... Actually, probably the same answer, but you can always dream!
  17. A naive question on my part, and I have done a perfunctory search online. Is HSV1 infectious all the time or only when there are lesions? If the latter, then the obligation for disclosure is rather more specific.
  18. Oh, my!

  20. It is indeed. And Nate's presence only enhances its value.
  21. Andy, notwithstanding your experience (which I don't doubt for a moment), I suspect there are clients here who have been blown away by the sort of men you question. I've hired a couple of muscle guys who were sublime. Of course, my experience doesn't negate yours.
  22. @BigRic, your characterisation of your interventions here is the same one as I had drawn from what you say. I struggle to see some of the adverse implications that have been drawn.
