I would have thought that if outcall is the only option that a gentleman offers, his rate should include travel within a certain range.

Maybe, but would you patronise a food truck called Sour Krauts?

The Oxford lists the Diego version of the etymology of the word. It dates it from the mid-nineteenth century which probably predates the day labour version. https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/dago And this from the Online Etymology Dictionary: dago (n.) 1823, from Spanish Diego "James." Originally used of Spanish or Portuguese sailors on English or American ships; by 1900 it had broadened to include non-sailors and shifted to mean chiefly "Italian."

This discussion is interesting but in some ways misplaced. Are 'really straight' and 'straight identified' terms that make a distinction without a difference? I can understand people wanting their partners to conform to a certain set of stereotypes, and they have the right to question them to determine whether they do or not. The term 'imposter' is unhelpful and I would say presumptuous. People get to identify their sexuality as they see fit, and leaving aside the few who lie about it for whatever advantage (in this forum, commercial), no-one has the right to tell them that they are not what they say they are. Claiming that someone is not really straight because they do not conform to a set of stereotypes that an observer has decided upon assumes that stereotypes are definitive proof of someone's sexuality. In any other conversation in this forum a claim that stereotypes prove anything would be dismissed summarily.

Pedantry central I know, but if it is a masseuse, she doesn't kiss.

Yes, I meant to say that.

It's quite cool here in Melbourne, about 20 degrees but it'll be 41 on Saturday. But then, it is mid-summer. I was chatting to a guy in Minneapolis last night, quite the contrast.

What Are Your NYE Plans - Who are You Having for Dinner?
mike carey replied to Bearofdistinction's topic in The Lounge
Tropical storms are called cyclones here, and yes, it is the season. New Zealand occasionally cops the tail end of a cyclone but rarely are they still cyclones when they get there. The storm that caused the deaths when it hit the Sydney to Hobart yacht race off the south coast of NSW was associated with a cold front, it was not a cyclone. Just as deadly, though. Cyclone Debbie last year was the most severe cyclone to hit the tropical Queensland coast for some years, and caused significant damage on landfall, but the greater damage was when it became a rain depression and dumped huge amounts of rain on SE Queensland and northern NSW. -

You could be right, but in general more than for the post you replied to. My reaction is simultaneously no way and tell me more. Then again, I'm 12,000km away so I can be all talk. -

Hmm, I may have to 'reimagine' my draft 'to-do' list. -

Done and dusted, it's coming up to midday on 1 Jan 18. NYE was a lamb roast with scalloped potatoes and vegetables, a nice shiraz and then sit and watch the NYE cricket game from Adelaide on the TV. I hear rainbow colours featured on the Sydney Harbour Bridge fireworks. -
Lol, good to have the discerning eye of a professional cast over this aspect of the scene!

Thank you Sir. -
Since he's from Australia I've buddy listed him. I may even e-mail him to see when he'll be back here!
-
Shhhh! Don't remind people!

Hadn't seen him before, but agree that his personality shines through even on his still pics. Not a premium member so can't speak about the vid.

For some reason I suspect I'm about to be told I'm out of line and need to be set straight... But @COLLEGEDOM is there an ad to go to? -
Noting, of course that the 'private' option does not override the read/unread indication in your mail sent folder.

Wheel chair on an escalator can be done. I've seen footage of it here, for example on news coverage of railway stations that are not 'wheel chair accessible'. But, and it's a big but (no, not big butt), it has always been young and otherwise fit people, like paralympians, who have the process of using an escalator down to a fine art, and they were usually in what looks more like a sports chair than a normal when chair.
-
It does.

True (apart from the technical use already noted) but derivatives of it are used, such as iterative and iteration. It's not common, but I'm sure it's not the only instance of a root word dropping out of use while derivatives remain.

To AZDR's comments, clearly we don't need social media, so we can live without it if we chose, but that's a different question to whether, if we have social media accounts, we should contact forum members via that route. To the broader question, it's a valid cause for concern, if you have extensive contacts either business or family on the particular platform you may not want to interact with fellow forum members, or indeed with escorts who are not members of the forum. That said, I do have contact with a number of escorts on one social media platform (I was going to abbreviate that to SM platform, but the potential for misunderstanding...), and a very small number of other forum members. In all cases [of which I'm aware] they are 'in character', and some of those I follow, follow me back. For the most part I simply read what they post, but I occasionally comment on their posts, and with a few I have had pleasant two-way discussions.
