  1. Sooo, just another notch in your belt (or perhaps in your bedhead would be more appropriate in this case)? Oh to be objectified thus!
  2. I've even heard that some escorts will take a guy out to lunch with no thought of it being an 'escort-client meeting'.
  3. That assumes he has had the surgery. From what I've read, they don't all do so, relying instead in hormonal therapy. The guy in the link I posted hadn't had surgery, and as I read it was relying on hormones which he deliberatively stopped taking for a while to bear a child.
  4. It's happened, on googling it's apparently fairly common. This example was the subject of a documentary on national television a couple of years ago (I remembered watching it at the time, so I looked for it specifically, and saw others in the search results). http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-08-10/melbourne-transgender-man-blessed-to-have-given-birth/6678726
  5. I have difficulty choosing between my real name and my stage name.
  6. A lot of us are dim already.
  7. Oh, Victor, I've already stolen them. I won't be using them on the internet though, just for private use!
  8. Yes, it does mean you're blocked. If it's deactivated you get a 404 unfound message. And yes, the profile is visible if you log out.
  9. +1
  10. @Epigonos, I'm aware that there will be a great change of temperature from base to top, I'm looking to see the view (and will take a jacket with me). I was counselled to check it out this year but I decided not to try to get there by taxi. I very much planned to be able to do it 'next year'. Eric was one of those who told me I needed to check it out.
  11. Lead foot? I don't recall that part but then I'm slow. I want to check out the cable car or whatever it is, that's why I am thinking of renting a car.
  12. That assumes we are a sizeable proportion of his client base! But just in case, can I be grandfathered?
  13. Nooo, I just want to meet him and sit and discuss the world. Maybe a subtle touch here or there.
  14. I certainly look forward to having a respectful conversation with @VictorPowers if we are in the same city.
  15. Vive la Marine Royale Canadienne (RCN).
  16. Did I say anything about book research? Perhaps I was thinking of experimental research!
  17. There are? I must undertake further research!
  18. As @stevenkesslar said, taxis are easy. Took 5 minutes in line at the taxi stand at the front of the terminal, cost something like $15 to the CC. Make sure you have the street address for your hotel, my driver hadn't heard of it but she had GPS and used the address to find it with no trouble. I haven't even thought of booking flights yet, but I've started due diligence. This year I flew into PSP (SYD-SFO-PSP). Indicative costs for next year at this stage has PSP about $AU100 more each way than LAX or SFO (interestingly SFO-Seattle-PSP is the same as SFO-PSP, both options Qantas codeshare on Alaska). This year I had looked at options from LAX, and has been mentioned Amtrak starts at about $19 each way to Palm Springs, twice a day by train then bus from Fullerton (IIRC) as well as the less frequent rail service. Decided it wasn't worth the effort. I might rent a car next year to get out around the area.
  19. I confess, I've promised too long and never delivered.
  20. Yep, I at least know where you are!
  21. I guess that is all relative. From here, those are average long haul flights, nothing like the Australia to US flights. For me, get on the plane, go to sleep and wake up for breakfast prior to arrival. I'm not sure whether Qantas economy, coming around every two hours with another snack was a good or bad thing.
  22. I agree, but I think I would pick Guadalajara ahead of it. It's easy to visit Mexico City if you want.
  23. I'm no expert on Central America, but I agree that as nice as it is, Merida is too hot and humid. I would be more inclined to pick somewhere in the highlands, Guadalajara or nearby, Antigua or San Jose. San Jose has the advantage of the comparative political stability of Costa Rica. Within the US, climate and politics are factors, as are the types of communities. I couldn't deal with the heat and humidity of Florida or the extreme heat of Palm Springs or Phoenix. Other places have their plusses and minuses. Face it, what the deal killers are differ from one person to another. Most big cities have enough positives to be persuasive, smaller cities become more problematic and subject to individual requirements.
  24. Brian, you're such a sweet guy, if you weren't getting these nice posts, that would be a surprise. Hope you are well.
