My biggest problem with this site is the uncertainty about the currency of a profile, particularly availability. “Should be in town” and “Should be in town soon” do me no good whatsoever. I’ve sent several messages to guys who show as “In town” and only received one response - the guy said he hadn’t been there for 2 months. The fact that it’s free means that many treat it casually and have no interest in maintaining the information in their profile. The simple addition of a “Last Updated” field on the profile screen would be immensely helpful in making the most productive use of the site and I’d not think it would be that difficult.

Yeah... I’ve had this happen and usually a gentle reminder works... “Is this a bad time? Perhaps we can meet a different day.” is usually sufficient. My experience is that for the guys who do this it’s perfectly normal and they have no clue that it’s bothersome to me. The “perhaps another day” is a not so subtle “you get $0”.
