There are several threads on this, and most of the comments are very sensible. I don't know your age or your health condition, but even if you are a 25 year-old stud in perfect health, you are vulnerable. Whatever your age, you are an adult. Act like one. There will be a vaccine, and it would be nice if you were around to receive it, and to resume getting massages, just like the rest of us.

I’m with you. I have come close to booking but reason takes over and decide not to book. There is too much at stake. I live alone and all interactions are with a mask. It’s tough, but you have to be careful about who you let into your bubble.

The biggest problem I have with Customer Service is I don't understand what they are saying most of the time. The young people (especially young girls) talk too fast and garble their words. Foreign accents are a problem for me also.

There is the creepy factor for the possible buyer - living with the knowledge of what happened could affect some people prone to morbidity or with an overactive imagination - or could possibly affect family members, especially children. But there is also the publicity factor. Most people in the neighborhood or wider population may not be aware but some will be, which makes that place, unknown to the buyer, an object of perhaps unwelcome attention.

Then there is the ever-popular world of liability litigation. The American legal system, run by lawyers for lawyers, has a way of attracting imaginative and potentially lucrative grievances. From which the real estate industry wishes to protect itself. “Your Honor, when I nicked my thumb with a knife, which then festered and required expensive medical attention, I did not know that a previous occupant had been stabbed to death in the very same place. I have no idea what caused me to do that, but there's something wrong with that place I should have been made aware of. I can’t begin to describe the trauma I now have to live with every time I need to slice a tomato.” An opportunistic householder with a greedy health insurance company, a 40% contingency retainer and an ambitious attorney, and you’re off to the races.

Would I move into such a place? I am single, without offspring who might be affected, and don’t much care what the neighbors think. I believe in the power of prayer for the well-being of people I don't know and who might have passed over to the other side. When I moved in I would have a formal house blessing (aka exorcism-lite), and then settle in. I am not careless with knives. So, yes, I would. Maybe a bit like gay people moving into a disadvantaged neighborhood and turning it around. Our willingness to look beyond the prejudices of the presenting situation and to take chances open up opportunities others might not take.

It got to 99 today in Denver. They were expecting 100, which would be the first time we hit triple digits in 2 years. But 99 is damn hot enough...AC is on full-blast today.

Las Vegas is expected to reach 114° on Sunday. Inside temperature is currently 85° with the thermostat set to 78°. I have fans in the living room and bedroom.

I am also in Chicago and in an old building. I am near the lake but unfortunately only one of the windows opens because they are so big. On some days I am lucky enough to have a great moderate breeze. When it is in the higher 80s (which it luckily has not been so far this year) I close the window and turn on the AC. At certain points in the day, I turn off the cooling element and just use the ceiling fans that are in every room and which are great. I especially like a cooler room for sleeping. Chicago seems to have its bad and good months depending on the year. There are some weeks where it is absolutely beautiful whether and you say to yourself, "This is why I live here." Then it can turn to the 90's and high 90s and you want to pack up and go. Then again eventually winter comes and it can get so cold you do not leave your house unless you absolutely have to.

If I were going to pick a place to live solely on the basis of weather it would be San Diego, California. During the winter it seldom goes below the 60's and in the summer is seldom goes above the high 70's low 80's. My kind of weather!!!! Actually I hate heat more than cold. This weekend in Northern Orange Country, CA it is projected to be in the mid to high 90's -- definitely too damn hot.

@CuriousByNature, if I may have a go at this...
I once was in London and staying at a decent hotel in Bayswater. One evening I was lying in bed and was about to fall asleep when I heard some moaning coming from the room next door to mine. Suddenly I heard their door open, so I looked out and saw a guy in a towel heading to the ice machine across from my room. I opened my door, which caused him to turn around. Suddenly his towel dropped and soon there was moaning coming from my room! And that, my friends, is the closest I have ever come to a travel sex story...

There was once an East Side bus terminal in Manhattan. I took the bus from the airport since my hotel was close by. Several empty seats, but I took the one next to a cute guy. I'm sitting there riding along and he is apparently asleep. His head starts moving toward me and ends up on my shoulder. Hmm, should I wake him up? I didn't, but when he finally "awoke" he kept his head there. We went to my hotel, had fantastic sex, and he went on his way.

Prime Men Spa in Mineola has reopened. Went today and had a massage by Adam. I’ve had several quality massages with him. The Spa is very clean & a new room was added. You are required to wear a mask & so does the Masseur.

When I lived in New York, I couldn't have cared less that a dermatologist was gay. I wanted good, and I found one. But, that was a long time ago, so have no names.
The dermatologists in Palm Springs are a sorry lot in my experience.
Thinking about your post, do you want to have an erection when the hot gay doc takes the moles off of your butt? Or do you just want them off?
