Are You Getting Massages?

I haven’t had a massage since February due to lockdown, but I haven’t had any human touch in 4 months and Im getting the urge and its becoming irresistible. I cant imagine waiting until January to get a massage. I know Im not the only one. Have any of you went ahead and hired?

I’m with you. I have come close to booking but reason takes over and decide not to book. There is too much at stake. I live alone and all interactions are with a mask. It’s tough, but you have to be careful about who you let into your bubble.

There are several threads on this, and most of the comments are very sensible. I don't know your age or your health condition, but even if you are a 25 year-old stud in perfect health, you are vulnerable. Whatever your age, you are an adult. Act like one. There will be a vaccine, and it would be nice if you were around to receive it, and to resume getting massages, just like the rest of us.

By the rent masseur site it sure seems a lot of providers are still in service. That being said I can't take the risk.

I actually sobbed the other day from seeing a group of people in a video singing and dancing and hugging. Because of circumstances in my life I have lived barely being able to leave the house for years. But the rare occasion when I could sneak away and get a massage was paramount to keeping my sanity. Between the pandemic and the daily visual assault of sweet potato Hitler I don't know how much more I can take.

Unfortunately sounds like the risk is higher than ever in some places.

I would love to get one and I’m sure my repeat providers would love to give one but for me the risk is still too high.

I honestly have not gone to any of my regular massage therapists. We have texted a lot though just to keep in touch. Most have not restarted massaging as well. They said I'll be the first to know! ?

Well, I’ve had 4 massages from February up until 3 weeks ago. Tested negative for COVID after getting tested randomly, so I think it depends on the person, the masseur and the space.

Not until next year. best thing is just keep quiet without thinking too way much about massage.

Yes. The number of cases and deaths have fallen almost to zero in my area, so I'm having massages with my trusted favorites who know how to take care of themselves and I'm loving it. If I was in an area of the US where the number of cases and deaths are spiking and causing alarm, I wouldn't tale any risks.
