My fly problem appears to be over. I suspected that the fly traps were actually increasing the number of flies what with that aroma they have. So I threw all of them away. Result: Only one fly today, so I let him live.

@marylander1940 Everyone of us wishes for the best in the message center. When we feel something is wrong in terms of choice of words to describe women, it is an obligation to speak up. That's not policing others, it's supporting a positive message center. What do you think women who see that word then feel about posting here?
-
There you go again! You support words like skank and oppose the one calling for its use to be stopped. What is it about the word that you love so much?
-
Really? Wow. Does it hurt?
-
Don't be sorry! I haven't seen anything else on the topic.
-
I'd rather focus on you claiming to know things you don't know.
-
Wow! This post took time, then?
-
Really?

@marylander1940 disliked my post about the use of the word "skank." It doesn't surprise me.

Perhaps the OP can tell us what his experience was...

The battery has an expected life of one year. If it saves me the hassle I had with my car key just once it is worth the money!

@Lazarus I think "skank" is an unfortunate choice of words you could have used. We do want women posting here, don't we? Referring to women as such is not inviting. Just my opinion, of course.

I think Mario has had a lot of work done on his face.

Yesterday I could not find my car key. I knew that it was in the car because the car would start. But I could not lock it. My husband and I tore the car appart looking for it. My car dealer is nearby, so I went there. The agent became frustrated too as he could not find it. Finally, he lifted the passenger seat and it dropped out. It was stuck, not under, but in the bottom of the seat. So I went to Amazon and bought a package of Tile tracking devices. There were 4 in the pack, so I have one attached to my key chain, one to the husband's keys, and one to our dog. Using the phone app, I can get each tracker to beep. I don't know what it does if the Tile is a couple of blocks away. Anyone else tracking things?

The gym has been closed due to the pandemic, but I used to see Dane Scott frequently working out there. He is in great shape!

Maybe this is clearer, but the guidelines consist of five pages: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said people who are two weeks past their final shot face little risk if they visit indoors with unvaccinated members of a single household at low risk of severe disease, without wearing masks or distancing. That would free many vaccinated grandparents who live near their unvaccinated children and grandchildren to gather for the first time in a year. The guidelines continue to discourage visits involving long-distance travel, however. The CDC also said fully vaccinated people can gather indoors with those who are also fully vaccinated. And they do not need to quarantine, or be tested after exposure to the coronavirus, as long as they have no symptoms. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2021/03/08/vaccinated-people-cdc-guidance/

He's famous in Times Square for performing with his instrument while wearing only tight whites. But his act did not go over well at Bike Week in Daytona Beach, FL. and he is now undie arrest! After people were seen placing money in his guitar hole, cops pounced and broke his guitar head in the process. https://nypost.com/2021/03/08/times-square-naked-cowboy-robert-burck-arrested-in-daytona/

I remember when soda came in bottles, not plastic and not cans. I remember diners and pin ball machines.

Nowadays your father would likely have arranged for you to buy it before it went to the dealer. Eliminating the middle man usually saves big bucks.

With all of the loosening of restrictions across the country, the CDC now says that fully vaccinated people do not need masks or social distancing to interact with people. That surprises me. " People who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can safely meet with one another or with others from a single household, the Centers for Disease Control announced Monday." https://www.nydailynews.com/coronavirus/ny-covid-vaccine-cdc-mask-guidance-20210308-buk5cbdf6ndb5oekkk7mfuhpgy-story.html So, should Oliver have two areas of socialization at his pool event? One for fully vaccinated folks and the other for those not fully vaccinated? Or should we all just mingle at our own level of risk?

Ha! I can remember when gas was 19 cents a gallon!

Glad to see @Cooper getting the recognition he deserves for first, saving Daddy, and second, creating a peaceful thread wherein we can express our well wishes! Thanks, @Cooper!

I don't know about this guy. All of the close ups of his face resemble a padlock.

That Look You Get When You Don't Want Me to Stop

Boy, @Whitman You should see my face when I look at your great collection of pics! Don't stop! ? -
So many much more serious crimes get no jail time. This guy needs a better lawyer. He must have really screwed someone over in the IRS! He is 46, yet made so much money that he evaded hundreds of thousands in taxes over 4 years. "Jami Kopacz, 46, admitted that he filed a false tax return in 2018, but he was ordered to pay $278,325 in back taxes to the IRS on the unreported income from his escort business over four years." He reported his 2018 income as $356,170.
