    My dear Friendofsheila,

I am going to write something that might send some NorthAmerican sensibilities into a frenzied tizzy. I say fuck rules, fuck sensibilities, fuck aesthetics, fuck what others might think. I wholeheartedly recommend you to try on a few different pairs of bathing suits and when you find the one with which you feel the best, the most comfortable, the sexiest, the most mobile then commit to it and wear it with pride. Beyond abs, much father than herculean glutes and a behemoth of a bulge, there is nothing sexier than confidence, relaxation and to see a man who is at peace with what he is wearing, owns it and asks for nobody's permission.

Life is so punily short, hard and elusively fleeting to waste any second of it.

May you find the sexiest, most amazing pair that makes you feel that you love who you are now.

Beach power to you, my brother!

I learned the hard way this afternoon not having it 'on' Twitter and it took several hours to get access back. This was not before several posts were made on my behalf, causing some serious headache.

This has been a public service announcement

Anyway you slice it, NO means NO. Mr. Topher needs help and maybe a good ass beating. If he were representing my brand I would drop him. I hope someone has the courage to take this to court.

    Hugs,

Perhaps I’m biased but didn’t he initially say no. It should have stopped right there. When I was much younger and starting to come to terms with being gay I went on a date with a guy I met on an online dating site. We went back to his place had a few drinks and ended up in the bedroom. I remember saying no when he flipped me over but I was pretty drunk. I think I said no again as he put on a condom and I realized what was about to happen but couldn’t get free and when it was over just remained frozen in place. I remember waking up in the morning and he acted like it was no big deal. I went home and was sick to my stomach. Took me a couple of years before I considered even having dinner with anyone. So, it doesn’t matter to me if he changed his mind and changed it back; if he said no then it should have stopped...

I am a constant rider of the escalators that carry L riders from the transit tracks to the stations on the street levels. I often encounter a nice round big ass a few inches from my face. I have to grip the hand rail to both prevent myself from diving in and to stay steady from admiration.

I see great looking guys all the time. I think there are at least two reasons for that:

    I keep my eyes open.
    I keep my mind open.

If I am in NYC and walking down the street or sitting eating a meal, I always people watch. I play a game in which I have to find something attractive about every man who goes by. Sometimes it is easy. Sometimes it is difficult to find something. However, it is always possible.
It seems to me you guys are talking about the obviously hot guys, but there are hot guys everywhere.

Rumor has it that you have a portrait in some random attic that is aged and withered looking.

I also believe that semen can have anti-aging properties, but we'll just leave that one right here for discussion

The first time I was suicidal, I wasn’t just depressed, I was delusional, I now realize. I not only thought my family and friends would get over it, I thought that they’d be glad to be rid of me. To be honest, I’m not sure how I got through that time. Maybe it’s because I procrastinate a lot and things cleared up for me before I’d gotten around to figuring out how to do it.

In more recent episodes when suicidal thoughts have been triggered, I have been acutely aware of how devastating it would be to my loved ones, especially my (now adult) children. That’s kept suicide in the realm of fantasy rather than action. I haven’t, at those times, been willing to pass the pain on.

So while it may indeed be incredibly selfish to take one’s own life, I imagine that most people who actually follow through are out of touch and not able to imagine the pain that will ensue for others.

I don’t believe family ever “get over” a suicide. Certainly there may be forgiveness, and learning how to go on. But the damage lasts, leaving scars after healing has happened.

I lot of people who are commenting here as well as other types of social media - have no idea what depression and suicidality is - ZERO. I suffer from a lifetime of clinical depression AND survived *multiple* suicide attempts. It’s NOT greed, it’s not selfishness....it’s desperation, it’s frustration- it’s having empty non existent hope. You shut down, you don’t care about yourself and all things. You see death as the escape and it becomes an obsession.
I gave you a glimpse into the darkness.

You’re part of the problem. I’ve expressed my distaste towards the attitude you hold in the Bourdain thread, but it is worth repeating.

Can you even begin to imagine the pain that this person must have felt to end his life? I bet you cannot, because why else would you make such an asinine comment!?

Are there really that many people unfamiliar with the concept of depression? Wow. It can make achievements and fame seem like ashes.

Read the (translated) words of Kim Jonghyun, main singer of K-pop group Shinee, also a successful solo artist, lyricist and composer and one of the few K-pop stars to reach out to the LGBTQ community, who committed suicide last December at age 27:

I don’t get this logic at all. “My friend was in such great pain that he decided to take his own life, so he must be selfish.” Try some empathy.

I lost my "virginity" meaning that I found out that there was such a thing as sex when my best friend let me give him a blow job. That was at 17 and a half. I did not fuck someone until I was 20. The butt of an angel. He was VERY experienced so I was kind of lucky because he was a power bottom. We stayed together for a few years.

I lost my "virginity" in every way--oral (active/passive) and anal (active/passive)--on the same day. O, what a day it was!
