  1. I love dairy-free ice cream made from coconut milk. I went completely dairy-free for a couple years - wanted to see if it improved allergy symptoms. It didn't but it did improve my digestion. Now , I eat minimal dairy and I like the dairy-free ice cream and yogurt. My bodybuilding coach says that dairy and sugar are the two "must not" eats - they go straight to your waistline, he says
  2. That's Ok, it wouldn't be my first "tool" moment. Absolutely correct. Since I had no interest, I shouldn't have even responded in the first place. It was a moment of curiosity - "Why would this guy be wanting to hook up with me?"
  3. But if you're not into a guy, or he turns you off, why would you have sex with him?
  4. Very perceptive - thanks. That was exactly the issue. He styles himself as an expert FF top. When he said he wanted to meet me, my reaction was " YOU want to get into MY ass? Not gonna happen." So it was convenient to make it about him being an escort instead of just saying, "We're not a match."
  5. Sure - I'm into FF and he styles himself as an expert FF top.
  6. Right - my manners temporarily deserted me. Normally, when there's a question, I ask, "Are you a pro?"
  7. The other day I had an interaction with a provider on a hookup site that ended up with him going away mad. This guy has a profile on a hookup site that I frequent and he sent me a DM saying he would like to meet me. His profile is very ambiguous - he talks about his years of experience as a pro, but then goes on at length about the kind of experience he's looking for, the kind of guys he's looking to meet, etc. so that he sort of conveys the impression that he's on that site as a civilian. I wanted some clarity so I said to him "I had the impression that you are a sex worker." His response was indirect - something to the effect that I shouldn't even have to ask that question. I pressed a little harder with "You have an active profile on Rentmen." His response then was that I appeared to have a prejudice against his kind. And that's the way we left it. A little later, I decided I should try to make nice, so I went back on and posted an apology - saying that I had been an asshole and I was sorry. He thanked me for the apology and said the whole interaction had been "disappointing." Was I being an asshole or was it reasonable to expect some clarity from him?
  8. How in the world could anyone think that it would be the same? I have slept next to a woman once and don't remember much about it, so this is mostly conjecture, but really . . . . My husband and I haven't slept together in years - we both snore and disturb each other. When we travel and stay in a nice hotel with great king-size beds, we sleep together.
  9. Most importantly, though, is that recession is a self-fulfilling prophecy. When enough people believe a recession is coming, sure enough it happens.
  10. Oh dear, not this again. What to the Germans call it - Schadenfreude . . .taking secret pleasure in the (mostly imagined) misfortunes of another?
  11. There used to be a Victorian-era hotel in Aptos CA with a respectable (not great) restaurant. I'm not sure if the hotel is there anymore. We haven't been down that way much in the last several years. There was a pair of young twin brothers who waited tables in the restaurant. They were extremely cute and I lusted over both of them every time we stopped there. Dealing with them was kind of a mind fuck until you figured out that there were two of them. I always thought they enjoyed that. They had a certain amount of notoriety in the area - people just referred to them as the twins. I don't actively fantasize about sex with brothers or twins, but I don't think I would pass up the opportunity.
  12. When I lived in Rochester in the 80's, there was an old Italian bakery on a little side street in the old Italian neiighborhood and all the bread and pizza were baked in an old clay oven, just because that was they way they had been doing it for decades and didn't see any reason to change. Their bread was just amazing.
  13. Keep an empty wine bottle chilled in the freezer and use it as a foot roller.
  14. We're having our usual early summer weather in San Francisco -High 50 - low 60s during the day and Low 50s at night, foggy, windy.
  15. No. It can become compulsive, but it does not result in addiction.
  16. There is a particular zinc formulation that is popular among strength athletes and physique athletes because it is believed to have an anabolic effect - ZMA. It contains zinc. magnesium and B6.
  17. Every time I have a slice of Key lime pie, it is so good that I think,"this should be my favorite pie." But it isn't. I love pie, not sure what my fave is. If it has a crust and comes in a pie plate - I'm all in. My husband and I have to refrain from making pies because between us we devour en entire pie in a day,
  18. I did the same - took 5 mg. daily for prostate symptoms. It worked great for a long time, but my system eventually decided it didn't like even 5 mg. I started to get very bad postural hypotension. I hated to, but I had to stop the tadalafil.
  19. I imagine Dexter's gravlax is sliced so thin that you can see light through it.
  20. I make gravlax too - the only complicated part is slicing - you have to have the right knife.
  21. "Girl Scout Cookies" is a famous strain - I bought some at a dispensary in Santa Rosa a couple weeks ago. Yesterday took it over to my FB's place and we had a lovely afternoon.
  22. I'm not a provider but I am a service professional. My answering service is instructed not to give an appointment to any lead who is not willing to provide complete contact information. It cuts WAY down on tire kickers, price shoppers and time wasters. Then additional screening questions increase the possibility that the person calling is a quality lead.
  23. It could be a great arrangement. He lives out of town. He visits mom often but not too often.
  24. Of course - they are different people and these are different times. However, the monarch's duties and limits are constitutionally determined. Redefining the role of the monarch would be the job of Parliament. I imagine they would give his views due consideration.
