  1. The booster hurt a little bit, and my shoulder is sore today. Didn't feel a thing when they did the flu shot and that shoulder is fine today.
  2. Thanks for suggesting that. I'll be in San Antonio for 3 days and I could spend 2 more days in Austin. I'm sentimental about San Antonio - I was stationed at Fort Sam Houston when I was in the Army and have very fond memories.
  3. It's reputed to be a Superfood - don't remember why.
  4. I've keep pondering a visit to Austin, not for the men, but out of curiosity. I hear such good things about it. I'm going to San Antonio in January.
  5. We bought some purple yams once - I don't remember where.
  6. Thanks for the recipe. Yep - Velvet. Terrific series.
  7. We like to make fruitcake for the holidays, but sometimes we make other stuff. Several years we've made Stollen. A couple years we've made Panettone. Last year we made an English Christmas cake. This year, after binge watching a Spanish series on Netflix, we're going to make a Spanish King Cake.
  8. It must be some sort of protocol. I went to Kaiser this morning for both shots. The nurse who gave the shots asked me exactly that question. I said "no, I'm here for both." And I got both.
  9. I really love to suck big dicks. One time, at a bathhouse, I connected with a guy who was so thick that the sides of his cock scraped against my back teeth. He really was too big.
  10. The funeral home that took care of my mother's parents was in a small rural village in western New York and had been serving the family for decades. The funeral director was on a first name basis with both my parents. When we went to view my grandfather the day after he died, my mother didn't like the way his hair was combed. She mentioned it to the funeral director and he got a comb and brush and rearranged my grandfather's hair to her satisfaction.
  11. They love to talk about it, but they will never do it. The amount of federal assistance they would sacrifice would instantly make them one of the world's poorest countries.
  12. There is one who says he loves seeing me. He treated me to lunch once and comped me once, so I believe him. We were walking along Union Square once and a homeless guy told me I looked like I drove a Lambo and my guy said, "You kind of do."
  13. That would be a bit of a conceit - thinking that the escort was wondering what had just happened.
  14. You use that eyeroll emoji a lot don't you? I wonder what that says about you?
  15. Unicorn may have revealed what is top of mind for him in his interactions with patients.
  16. I have one type that I call my archetype and when I have sex with someone of my archetype it is singularly exciting and satisfying. I have lots of other types - in fact, I have so many types that it could be said that I don't have a type - except for my archetype. And I have great sex with my other types, but it isn't like sex with someone of my archetype.
  17. And don't forget a trust. Modern estate planning almost always involves a trust and a pour over will. Settling an estate in which the assets are owned by a trust is much simpler and prevents the estate from going into probate. Additional essential docs are a health care proxy, a HIPAA authorization and a power of attorney. The power of attorney can be a durable power of attorney or it may be structured only to take effect in the event of incapacity.
  18. You can't take yes for answer, that's what I said.
  19. Is Wikipedia the best evidence you can find? Given your usual insistence on well-vetted information, you seem to be slumming. The Wikipedia chart did not include polymyalgia in its list of non-autoimmune diseases.
  20. That is incorrect. It is widely accepted that polymyalgia is an autoinflammatory disease. The inflammatory response is a function of the intrinsic immune system. And polymyalgia is commonly referred to, even in peer-reviewed literature, as an autoimmune disease. It is true that it does not appear to be a disease of the adaptive immune system. So, If you are going to be persnickety and insist on a narrow definition of autoimmune as being a disease of the adaptive immune system, it is not an autoimmune disease, but you seem to be out of step with the rest of the world
  21. Xanax makes me terribly absent-minded. I won't touch it. I sometimes take one half of .5mg tab of lorazepam and sleep like a baby. Wake up in the morning feeling like I have new lease on life.
  22. Staying healthy and fit isn't rocket science - common sense, implementation and consistency.
  23. Agree completely.
  24. Among all my other obsessions, I have a thing for Hawaiian daddies and I have an ongoing IG flirtation with a Guamian daddy. The manager of the branch where I do my banking was a good-looking Gaumian guy - probably in his late 30s. I used to swoon every time I went in there.
  25. Thank you - I knew there must be a name for it. It's another thing that I haven't done but would do. Since the pandemic, I don't get out much.
