Noticed that there's an influx of out of town service providers in Chicago now, where our numbers are also low (positivity rate hovering between 2 and 3%). Increasing demand because buyers are more ready to connect because of lower risk? Or providers reducing their risk by offering services in places where clients are more likely to be Covid free?

We're basically on the same page. I can think of just 3 times when I would book a shorter session if i had a do over, so hardly a pandemic, lol. Still, I changed my behavior. And probably got better at vetting.

In defense of the "one hour in my hotel room" guys, I was often one of them. Here's why: Only hired when I traveled, and found it much more palatable to host at my hotel where I knew the sheets were clean, vis-a-vis wherever the service provider stayed, sometimes sharing a room with another, sometimes with the bed still unmade after whoever was there before me. As for time, I prefer longer too. But on a handful of occasions with a new provider, despite the set up communications, the man who showed up and I didn't click for one reason or another. So I learned to default to a one hour appt for a first meeting with an offer to go longer if we hit it off. Worked well for me in meeting "quality people" and often seemed to be appreciated by the provider too, given that I was an unknown to him as well.

Sot this is a story not exactly on point, but close enough. I was once on a team at work with a very beautiful young man, in his prime, 20 years younger than me, who escorted on the side. Your ad struck me as "first to market" and I commented on that as a novel approach, actually giving you kind of lame compliment for being opportunistic. I'm a consultant who markets myself opportunistically too, so please know i mean this as a compliment too, not a criticism. Do admit, however, that you were vague about your credentials in healthcare on a platform where there is a lot of spin in the pitches. The vagueness made me suspicious when I could have given you the benefit of the doubt. I see your point, own that and apologize for the comment about your ad copy being bullshitty. You've done a very good job of clearing up the vagueness. I do admire your professional ambitions as well as your willingness to engage here and stick up for yourself. And I wish you the best.

Hmm, when I used the term "admire" it was tongue and cheek, probably not the best choice of terms as I think about it. Just to be clear, I don't really believe him or buy that he knows what he's talking about. The claim to be in the "medical field" is vague enough to strike me as particularly bullshitty. Still, going forward I think we'll see more people marketing their C 19 status as a distinguisher in a time when users of escort services feel deprived of sex/touch/human connection.
