  1. Thx Butch. Right, no second time with that one. The next time I encountered this kind of situation, I was on a massage table in London, where I'd booked this beautiful man from Argentina whose name I cannot remember for some reason. After he'd asked me the preliminary vetting questions -- did I like boys, did I like him, was I enjoyed the massage etc., all in light hearted flirtatious tone with a charming accent -- he started with the menu. For $x pounds I could release, for$ x plus more he could too. I disrupted by saying, look I'd like to spend about $y pounds and of course I'll tip if this turns out to be a peak experience. He got a big grin and said well, let me make this a $y experience for you! He then dropped his shorts, did a modeling turn, and asked, so what do you like better, the back or the front? It was so cheeky we both laughed and were off the races, lol. And that's basically my approach now. I like to reach an understanding about professional fee in advance of the meeting. If I get an upsell during a meeting, I usually turn it to a conversation about tipping for a great experience and that usually works. Butch, surprised you haven't run into this more. I find myself in the upsell situation I wouldn't say frequently, but periodically enough that it doesn't surprise me.
  2. When communication is challenging or lapses I remind myself that service providers are real persons with lives of their own and their own preferences. They vet us as we vet them. Tristan and Bradley are good examples. Tristan seems to always have a lot going on in his life, the injury being only one example. As b-n-t knows -- in part because I keep teasing him about it -- Tristan also prioritizes his established clients in scheduling. I had to work around that practice of his as well as his travel schedule and his various relocations in connecting with him. With Bradley, our communications reached a point where either he or I felt that there wasn't a fit based on what I was looking for and what he enjoys offering. To be graphic, I vet providers to see if they really deliver in the bottom role, and its just not his preference. Can't remember exactly who made that realization first, but it felt like win/win to let it go. Bottom line, when responses don't happen or stop abruptly I assume I'm being vetted, respect that, and move on. If I think there's a good fit, as I did with Tristan, I'm more patient and try a few times, wait more, and remind myself that these guys have lives too.
  3. Glad he doesn't -- love seeing ads where the provider proclaims his preference to bottom!
  4. Hey, thanks for posting this link. Jeremy -- if you're tracking -- wow, what a thoughtful set of entries, with great balance of humor and sincerity. Comes across as ground truth. Also adds to the other attributes that make you hot, lol. Bottom line, you're a talented writer, hope you write more!
  5. Thanks so much for posting this. Officially moving Alexx from the my wish list now. Memory lane: The first time I encountered this approach was 15+ years ago with Trent Fosters, the Aussie who did a bit of filmwork that got my attention. He was literally naked, under me, legs in the air quoting me prices from his a la carte menu of services. From a point of sale marketing POV I admired his negotiation skills as I really, really wanted what he was offering -- but gosh it was a turnoff because I felt forced to negotiate back. Saw reviews from others that it was his MO. Oh well, learning experience. Was better prepared the next time it started to happen, lol!
  6. Seriously? He'd watched too many reruns of the Patty Duke Show lol.
  7. I passed on seeing him. If I had a free evening in Orlando I would have taken the chance, just out of curiosity. But to make a date work with my schedule, I would have had to extend my stay. Hot pics not withstanding, a few too many things not adding up made me decide to pass on that investment of time and $.
  8. And these comments are about Steveno or Brodie? I've lost my way here.
  9. I've had very good experiences with MPLSJock. Is he butch, no, but the effeminate descriptor goes too far IMHO. He's well built, and much sexier in person than comes across in his pics. Hard to compare him to Jeremy W, who I think of as a butch top who gives off a gay for pay vibe. In contrast MPLSJock, aka "Colby," comes across (and delivers) as a hot gay jock bottom.
  10. Bumping because he posted hot new pics today. Nobody's seen this guy? https://rentmen.eu/Joeythejock Orlando trip is coming up soon...
  11. Actually, look in his eyes. That's one sexy sheep. Or ram, or whatever it is...
  12. Well you're on the right track. Fun facts: In 1873 the city was renamed after dear old lovable Otto in an effort to attract German immigrants and investment there. They intentionally built downtown 1 mile away from the Missouri Riven in anticipation of rapid growth. Never happened, in part because investment $$ and immigrants shifted to South Dakota in 1874 when gold was discovered. Also -- who knew? -- the reigning Miss America is from Bismarck! She aspires to be the first female governor of North Dakota. Republican of course. And white. Oops, wrong forum for political commentary. Bad AOG! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cara_Mund
  13. On the other hand, both black girls in Bismarck seem to want to eat and shop for deals at Kirkwood Mall so points for inclusiveness there! (According to Wikipedia, Bismarck is 92.4% white.) And I can get rainbow stripe leggings on sale! http://www.shopkirkwoodmall.com/store/justice/deal/2138324571
  14. Thx, have never used those and hadn't thought about that. Bet you're right that this is how people connect. Appreciate it.
  15. Well the fracking is pretty far away -- up by Williston and Minot, where Josh Duhamel is from. Hmmm, wonder if he has brothers who may have stayed, lol.
  16. So I head to Bismarck ND for work in a couple of weeks. Yes, Bismarck. Never any ads posted there, and its been awhile since I've seen threads on venues to meet people in these out of the way places. And by venues I mean Craigslist or some other such forum, not truck stops. Advice anyone? Experience in Bismarck anyone?
  17. He's very fun to talk with -- cocky, but in an engaging way. However there are several things he says that could be BS. That's why we need one of the 4 folks who have given him positive reviews to spill their beans. Cmon guys!
  18. I saw that to0. Talked to him today. Funny and personable, but a wise ass. Joked about being a catholic boy gone bad, lol. I'm sure the Magyar thing is a joke.
  19. Bumping. He has 4 recent reviews on RM, all positive. Nobody here has tried him?
  20. No, got busier than predicted and didn't pursue.
  21. Looks like he is spending a chunk of his summer in the US, starting July 13.
  22. Another plus -- he sure knows how to throw together a preview video.
  23. I didn't know this either! Just used this trick to find all my reviews. Fun trip down memory lane...Thx!
