Don't know any of them but agree, what a smorgasbord!

LOVE this thread!!! Very thought-provoking ideas. Have to disagree with the POV about comments here being naive. Au contraire, feels liberating to read. And refreshing. And real.

I think this discussion would be illuminated if we had teens and 20-somethings weigh in. Are their any on the forum? At least for me, they seem to be on the frontier of re-thinking labeling. Two of my friends have children who just will not define themselves as gay, straight, or bi. One of them will also not identify themself by gender. As they describe me, I'm a "man (because I choose to identify as such) who has sex with men," period. They see that as a descriptor more than a label. It's a refreshing POV, respectful of each of us as persons who own our own bodies and the words/concepts we use we identify ourselves.

Love this forum because of information like this. Thank you.

I don't hire guys who post as straight. Its a prejudice based on the assumption that gay guys will be more comfortable with gay sex. I see comments from some here who see it differently, and wonder from time to time whether my view is too narrow. Keep thinking about a friend of mine in college who maintained that he was straight but was completely open to any and all sexual experiences because, to quote, "it all feels good." Would have sworn he would have ended up bi (or pan) but nope, he's been happily married to a woman for 35 years. He was out there in many, many ways but at least stands for the premise that some who see themselves as straight but can be very into how gay sex feels good, or is fun, etc.

Oh my...kids do the darnedest things...
-
They come out too. He was bi yesterday and his position was "ask me." Today he's a gay top!
-
...They're always coming and going, and going and coming. And always too soon...

Communicated with him. Responsive to messages and upfront. To quote, "I do NOT bottom." So we we've both moved on!

Variation on the theme, that applies to this guy: Providers who change their travel dates. I think it reflects their dynamic decision-making about where the money is. They plan a trip here or there, but if they don't get bookings that changes. This guy's travel dates have definitely been in flux as I've been checking out his ad over the past week. Then there are guys who as Gymowner mentions just drop-off. Had that experience with Ivan on a recent trip. (https://rentmen.eu/dcstud) Great back and forth up to 45 minutes before our meeting time, when he said he'd be late is that OK? I said yes, then nothing. So, interpreting the silence...earlier client kept him longer? He got high and forgot? Some personal problem popped up? So odd, but also a pattern with this guy. I knew that from this forum, so wasn't completely surprised and had a backup lol. But underscores the value of this forum for me.

Bumping. Any newer and better experiences logged with this guy?

Thx, appreciate the info. Pass it is on Justyn. Still perturbed about why RM removes ads. The one I saw was not abusive or unfair, very even. 4 stars not 5, with the comment that he wouldn't rehire, which is what prompted my follow up to him. Reviews like that are informative and should stick.
-
So, Justyn had a less than stellar review on RM a couple days ago. Emailed the reviewer who basically said yes, he's beautiful, but he couldn't perform. Have exchanged a few texts with Justyn -- he's a terse texter, hard to get a sense of him. So decided to pass thinking he leans to stand and pose more than intense interaction. But our paths cross again next week, just checked and the less than stellar review is gone. How and why does that happen -- does RM have rules for when they drop a review? And if less than stellar reviews are sanitized out, why pay attention to RM review at all?

I want to nominate this as an eternal question cause the answer must have a lot of intrinsically mysterious layers. Right up there with "How many angels can you fit on the head of a pin?" and "If god is all powerful and all good, why is there Trump...oops that slipped, meant to say evil...in the world?" Where do I go to to do this? The Vatican? Hogwarts? Is there a Ministry of Eternal Questions?
-
Agree. This same thing happened to me. Once, Years ago in Vegas. Wrote a review. His ad disappeared. Nice guy, but he needed a lesson about the sequelae of deceptive advertising.

I hav3, both on Daddy's and RM. Handle on RM is DowntownnChi its my civic duty lol!

Pardon me, but "effeminate" is an extreme and harsh judgment. I've seen him multiple times. Butch, no. But not the other extreme by any means. As for steroid use, let the pic speak for itself. His is not roided body. You may not repeat, but I sure will. As an eager, creative jockboy bottom he's among the best I've met.
-
Hmm, I hear you. I wonder if when you get the question, saying just what you said here -- When I hire I don't want to judged on my appearance, it defeats my purpose -- would have the same vetting function. You're giving them a a rationale for your answer that makes sense, and if say, good, I get it, you're off to the races. And if they get curt like this guy did -- well now you both know you're not a fit.
-
I'd actually have given the guy who likes a pic to get a sense of his client the benefit of the doubt. He articulated a rationale for the request. Same thing with request for age. From the client's POV, I like being vetted like that because it evens out expectations before the door opens. Plus, there are some really decent providers out there who understand and get into the fact that they bring value to older, heavier, shyer, closeted, less hung, more insecure or whatever guys who still need sex, companionship, adventure or whatever. Those are the providers I'm looking for and the questions he asked help both sides find win/win in my view.
-
Good find. That's definitely him. I'm seeing him later this week. Not sure how interactive he is, so this is a fact-finding visit lol.
