during my one and only visit to Montreal in January, 2016, homeless people were immediately outside my hotel (Governeur (sp?)) sleeping on the heat grates......and a dude tried to sell me some cocaine on St. Catherine......I'm tolerant and aware of my surroundings and none of this bothered me in the least......fearing Montreal would be the Paris of North America (pretentious and rude), I, instead, found Montreal to be utterly unpretentious, friendly, low-key, fun, and easy to navigate......

NYCMan makes a good point. There's not much architectural distinction to the Gay Village, true. And there are actually some poor people there, and some with substance abuse issues - also true. So it's a little rough, but there's also an inclusive, funky, friendly, non-judgmental vibe in Montreal like almost nowhere else. You can see disabled people out enjoying themselves next to the ripped stripper boys. Street performers can suddenly dive into real acrobatics, or a singer can start belting like the next Celine Dion. I love it.

Sounds like the East Village in NYC circa 1990!

It was HEAVEN!....and now it’s overrun with pristine baby strollers.

Thanks for the heads up....I’m planning a Montreal trip as we speak
and I’m looking forward to experiencing the grittier side of urban life.

https://ibotta.com/r/3nhwbq Just wanted to throw this out to some of you. You cant get money back at the different travel sites like Priceline, hotel.com, Uber and such. I've been using it more and more and have gotten back almost $100.

It seems to be an increasing trend in NYC. Escpecially with guys visiting
from other countries. As someone who takes the NYC subway 95% of the time,
I find it a humorous request. The only time I take Uber is when I’m dressed
to kill for a night on the town in an outfit that would be unwise to wear on
the subway. Since no escort has ever shown up dressed like that at my door,
I don’t see the need for them to take Uber.

If we were going to a major event in black tie....I wouldn’t have any problem,
it’s simply a routine expense for that type of experience.

I’ve had several ask me to call them an Uber on their way out the door.
Of course, the only way for me to call you can Uber is to put it on my tab.
I politely tell them that the door man downstairs will be happy to help them
hail a taxi if they need assistance.

With so many flaky clients out there is a way to show you're serious and proactive about hiring him.

@7829V $140 dollars round trip on Uber?

I don't know where you live but what if you drive to him instead and save the money. If not just get a guy who has a car and is able to drive to you.

I'm thinking this should all be on you. Maybe offer to split it? You pay to pick him up and he pays his own way back. If he had his own car you wouldn't be expected to share gas.

Uber and Lyft requests aren’t that unusual. I’ve provided rides that way. But I’ve rarely encountered a sketchy provider, thank goodness.

No escort has ever asked me to send them an Uber. I don’t have use for Uber so I would have to decline and not meet up.

However, there was an escort who I planned to see. The day we were to meet a severe snow storm hit the area. Driving was damned near impossible. He offered to send an Uber to pick me up. I declined and sited the worsening conditions. This was the same escort I mentioned in another thread about seemingly desparate or overtly eager working men.

I have never requested an Uber before, but there are some situations where I might do so.

Your offer to pick up and return is kind, but in actuality it could be good or bad. $70 each way is what a 30 -40 minute ride? If so, in Uber, the scort can look out the window, play with his phone or whatever. If its you, you will expect to be engaged in "getting to know you" conversation, that otherwise might not occur if he arrived via Uber.

Also when the session is over, there is another block of time to be filled with some sort of engagement. If for whatever reason the session did not go well it could be really awkward or uncomfortable..

It's a nice gesture, but I'd probably opt for the Uber or find a guy closer to your pad, or find a hotel closer to your scort's location.

There is a neurological reason for foot fetish which explains why it’s so common. Your brain contains maps for different body parts and the genital and foot regions are next to each other and can get cross- wired. It’s interesting how this was discovered if you want to look it up. It doesn’t seem to be Freud’s explanation that feet resemble a penis.
I too like feet though I don’t worship them. What I find is there is no common standard for sexy feet! At least not that I can find. No offense but the pic above is not my taste. Don’t hate me

Grrr, I love doing this to a guy. Already got him moanin' and groanin' while I'm poundin' him and then if the mood strikes, to grab one of his feet and start licking and sucking and kissing and worshipping (while also using that grabbing hand to massage at the same time) while continuing to nail him...just...new heights of pleasure for him and me. The ultimate.

Ya gotta clip those toenails, though. Hard on my teeth and mouth, otherwise. Not into that kind of punishment, heh.

HOWEVER - stuff like 23 and Me is just looking for a handful of markers that are more common in certain populations, they aren't sequencing your entire genome, so their percentages are kind of BS. You could have gotten Natice American DNA but not the genes they had flagged as merkers.

Something y’all might not be taking into account- chromosomes often mix pieces of themselves with other chromosomes. Let’s say-and I’m not a geneticist- in case there are any on here I apologize for mangling the subject- that you receive a chromosome from your mother but 10% of that chromosome came from your father. That’s probably going to screw up your percentages. As Hamlet probably meant to say, “There are more fractions in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophies.”

It's mathematically quite possible that none of your great-grandmother's DNA made it to you. We get 23 chromosomes from each parent. But that doesn't mean we got 11.5 from each of the 4 grandparents...we got 12,11,11,12 or maybe 15,8,5,18, etc. It's a series of random coin flips which ones get passed down. The only thing that is certain for everyone is our RNA came from our matrilinear ascendants and (for males) our Y chromosome came from our patrilinear ascendants.

Yes but he could simply be rounding to shrink the denominator if he's 5/16 or 11/32 something. It's not really that big a deal.

This is mathematically correct. No calculus needed but if someone is 32.82% of something and I am pretty sure saying they are 1/3 of something is acceptable to the general population.

Kevin, I think what Marylander40 is saying that if you have an ancestor which is of mixed race, then consider the ancestor's ancestors, who will be among *your* ancestors. Assuming that all humans are formed from the DNA of two people, (which is even true of artificial fertilization), then ultimately when you add up the fractions, you will get something over a power of 2 and that can never sum up to 1/3 or 2/3rds. You can get arbitrarily close, but it still won't be exactly 1/3.

Sorry - as long as we descend from 2 parents it is not possible to be a third something. We have to be some power of 2. You may want to get a different accountant!
