Had Raphael today and he is amazing. Knows exactly what to hit, what amount of pressure and how to follow up. He does lack in the sensuality department but has expressed to me that he is straight and makes exceptions for trans girls so I expected his lack of ardor. He has curly black har, an amazing bod+ Curly chest hair, almond eyes, a smile that definitely enchanted me and a voice full of bass and confidence I melted in. Recommend 10/10 if you want a knowledgeable massage and great interpersonal company.

I have never been disappointed at Greenhouse (Tony, Allen, and Owen), with the exception of those face pillows. The massages have always been solid and the provider more than accommodating. The pillows on the other need to be cleaned and have washable covers added.

I'm not so sure is this post (or replied) by any of PR team of one of these spa?!! I'm 100% as client. The room size of Greenhouse is bigger and I never experience anything wrong from the boys there. Not even asked about the tip during session as other spa you mentioned name. If you looked back from many post you would see few quality of those 2 spa were less quality than Greenhouse! Just sayin'!!!

Great idea to have a thread for the popular spas. Only disadvantage is that if one of them is used for a day or two, it will sort drop off people's radar.
Having joined this forum fairly recently, I found the spa thread a treasure trove of useful info in one place. But after going through much of it over a few weeks, I began to find the new postings a bit confusing because they would jump around between one spa and another. It would be nice if there were some way to have threads for the most popular spas in one forum so they are always visible on the first page or have a fixed section on top of this forum where the individual spa threads are always on top.

My guess is that you go for the in demand guys. If you want better customer service look for guys who may not be the ideal fantasy but you'll probably find a nicer guy. That or just keep looking for the hottest of the hot and accept it.

    Hey guys,

I’m a big guy, so typically when looking for a new provider I naturally gravitate to those who specify in the post that they welcome “all body types”. However, those are not very common and there are masseurs that I’m interested in who do not include this. In these cases I will ask up front if they are open to working with larger sized clients and gauge from their response.

Sometimes I get back a positive response and book accordingly, other times a very carefully worded lukewarm reaction and I decide to pass. Ive never had anyone blatantly reply negatively, but occasionally get no reply....which I consider a “no” response.

I’ve found for me this helps to avoid awkward or uncomfortable situations. The pros have seen it all and understand that part of the job is accepting different people. Those that assume all clients should fit their preference are in the wrong business. Many men (esp “hot” gay men) being unattracted to overweight people is to be expected...believe me, I get that. I’m not saying they need to change their ideas of what they consider attractive, but maybe rethink your career choice.

I’ve been very pleasantly surprised with masseurs who have been welcoming and kind, and who didn’t at all make me feel different. On the flip side I have experienced those who I just felt were not into it...going through the paces for a buck.

I would not just take a gamble and just hope for a good vibe. Being up front gives the provider an opportunity to bow out gracefully and saves me the money and my dignity in the process.

    Curious how others handle this?

I've seen him twice in the past couple of years for 60 min. He gave a very good therapeutic massage but lacked sensual aspects and he remained clothed for the session. Maybe he is not into older guys or perhaps you have to do the 90 minute session which is priced a bit higher.

While it's true that some highly positive comments and reviews may be fake, I can assure you, as a frequent client of Utopia, and one who knows "Jack," for a long time (I was a frequent massage client of his before he opened Utopia), that he is one spa owner who would NEVER post a fake comment about one of his masseurs. (Nor would he post any comment at all.)

That said, I can easily see how one client can really like a masseur, and another can have a so-so experience. It's quite possible that a masseur can have an off-day. There happens to be another very well-reviewed masseur at Utopia who doesn't really float my boat. People in this chat room rave about him, but he's just OK, IMHO.

I haven't tried Ricky yet, but based on Tony Raye's review, I'm eager to do so. I've noticed a short, very muscular Asian guy with a crew cut at Utopia. Is that Ricky?

The hypnosis was very relaxing and a somewhat out of body experience, I have done yoga for many years and practiced deep relaxation (yoga nidra). It was similar to that but deeper and very nice in that you have a personal guide to direct you along the way. You get to step out of your body mentally and can see yourself from outside.

Have gone to KT many times over the past year for wonderful 90 minute massages and even tried his hypnosis one time. He is an excellent masseur especially for the back, glutes, and legs. Once you turn over, the therapeutic part of the front massage is very brief except for the head massage which is fantastic. He is a very gentle, sweet guy and really is present from the moment he first greets me until I close the door as I leave, and he definitely goes out of his way to make my visit healthy and happy.

Yeah. It is funny how people sometimes point their ire in the totally wrong direction. It is pretty classic manipulation by those in charge to incite disharmony amongst those who should be allied against the powers that be. This is a small but interesting example of the phenomenon.

Vote this November. And if you can, contribute to the Democrats. If Republicans maintain both sides of Congress this year, you won't recognize this country by 2020. Trust me: finding a massage therapist will be the very least of your problems.

The walls at Utopia never bother me.
I almost forget that they don’t go all the way up.

It’s so clean, pleasant, welcoming, and everyone is courteous. They offer beverages, have table shower options, and they take their time. It’s truly a relaxing experience from the minute you walk in, until you leave.

I’ve never had anyone upsell me. I would tell Jack in an instant if that happens. He’s good to his customers and would nip that quickly.

They also have a nice variety of masseurs there- all skilled to a degree and all Sexy.

Only other spa that has better accomdations is Super Mens but that is hit or miss with the masseurs AND they charge a LOT more.
Green house is nice too but I’m always bored of the masseurs there.

As much as having the previous thread removed sucks, if it’s a matter of having that come down VS having this forum removed completely due to violations, I’d much rather prefer the former.

We are all supremely lucky that this place is here and we should appreciate and respect the decisions made by the moderators.

And I also agree with that previous thread was becoming littered with random posts and confusing responses - I, myself, am guilty of that too.

We have a chance to start fresh.
I say we use this opportunity to be careful what we say and share. Quote the posts we are referring to. And if you make a comment or share recommendations about anything, then we should state clearly which spa it is and which masseur we’re referring to so to avoid confusion.

Clean slate! I’m all about it. And again, rather have this than the whole forum gone!

So who has had a new experience to share?
