I decided reverse image search his photos and here's what I found and it's kinda eerie.

I’m laughing at this comparison (although I get how you mean). Having been to both Vegas and Omaha multiple times: they are nothing alike lol.
For one, Vegas Ads are consistently thick with dozens of providers year around. Omaha, does not. Vegas also attracts tourists from all around, whereas Omaha is more like the regional tourists from Iowa/the Dakotas, etc. 
Believe it or not, I think Omaha is a better example of a city than Vegas lol. However the weather in Omaha gets so crazy, between giant hail storms and blizzards: Not enough gays with money find it an attractive resort location. However Omaha isn’t the wasteland you’d think it is. It just seems that way in comparison to the more crowded markets.
The reality is, a lot of those “in demand/buyer’s market” gay cities like Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, Chicago, Las Vegas, California (although Cali is technically a country of its own): all those cities are so ran thru, it’s hard to make any fast money in those places unless you lucky to be able to stay there long enough to build regulars or a specific “sugar” guy. 
I’ve gone to so many of those cities and waited for days on end for a booking, whereas I can go to somewhere like Omaha and have my time accounted for a couple days. At not nearly the cost of some of the other cities
 

I can’t speak for Vegas specifically or anyone else who tours there: but for me I do the same, advertising in multiple cities. RentMen does allow up to 12 travel locations on the new platform version. 6 cities “nearby” (a 200-300 mile range) and 6 that one can put travel dates for. Equals 13 if include the current location. I definitely take full advantage of that.
The issue I see is, too many clients see the ads and assume it means instant availability. Or people expect us to have travel plans before we’ve even been able to finance it. 
 
I actually do try to 99% of time visit all the cities I advertise in. But in some cases, the commute to get there is too far and not as many want to book in advance like it used to be. Even if I get 5 clients hitting me up asking if I’m available “today”, that doesn’t help if I’m trying to plan the city 2-3 weeks from now and it’s 1,000 miles away. I tried that with Buffalo, and not enough were willing to schedule ahead, so I had to bin the trip a couple times. Maybe this year I’ll make it work finally.
 
Something with the escort travel system needs to change. I’ve had to say everything from “dates in my ad are openings/flexible” to “all travel cities require confirmed clients”, but few really seem to notice or understand it. 
 
I was just talking to a client today who: I been suggesting he book me a day in advance. However he was only able to do same day appointments a few hours in advance. We finally got to meet but, I was running like an hour behind the time I was aiming for. 
Getting ready can suck up so much time. Some will reach out less than 24 hours notice in some cities, and expect on time with a limited window. It’s not always possible. I tried to reschedule one guy who wanted to meet basically “before 3 p.m. the next day” in a city that was 5.5 hours away from me. 
Although I was planning the city anyway for other requests, hotels may or may not allow check in before 3 p.m. Many are also charging $25-$50 early check in fees. I also didn’t want to have to leave at night to get there early, because I’m hating driving more than a couple hours in the dark anymore. Dude gets pissed off at me, and I’m like dude: my ad states what my in-call hours are. Sometimes I can flex it, other times it’s too much trouble to make happen if they can’t be flexible.
It just makes the whole touring/travel thing a headache sometimes. That’s why nowadays I mainly only go to cities where I know I have friends, crushes, or specific clients as main purpose. Then I can incorporate other bookings once I’m there. I don’t like playing the gamble game and thinking if I spend $XXX amount on hotels for 2-3 days, I can recoup that money back AND make a profit. Because it doesn’t always happen, and it may require staying longer than 2-3 days to do it. 
 
I did a trip to San Diego couple years back, I had to stay for a week before I even booked my first two clients. I only managed to stay because I had friend’s place to stay: but in the past I’ve gone to cities and left within a day or 2 if there’s nothing but flakes and no money coming in.

How does one get on your payroll?

At least for me an overnight is typically a set number of hours, like 10-12 hours.  Each provider is different and has different requirements but look at an overnight more like a date and have it planned out.  It typically works better that way, do something like this, meet some play, dinner either in the room or at a restaurant, come back some more play, at a certain point sleep, maybe morning play, breakfast and depart.  Just make sure expectations are known before setting the appointment in stone then its a lot better.

This is not an inexpensive endeavor.  In time, you may find more satisfaction from known solid hires and the occasional dice roll on an unknown sampler.  Everyone rolls slightly differently depending on what else they have going on.  

I’m into regularity, for privacy reasons as well as avoidance of scams / entrapment/ legal problems.
