  1. I have never noticed this before. How are you determining that this is the case? There are nearly 300 ads in San Francisco; I certainly don't have the patience to start a list based on one site and compare it to the other site to make sure they match exactly. The only thing I can say is that I have noticed that sometimes the same person appears more than once in the list, giving the appearance that there are more distinct listings than there are.
  2. I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt in only one respect: maybe he's not familiar with the area and has no idea how long it takes to walk 7 blocks. According to Google maps it takes 13 minutes, and I suppose you could have just told him that you'd be there in 15 minutes instead of expecting that he would be intelligent enough to figure out how long it would take you to get there. That being said, you clearly told him you were walking and then he asked if you were taking a ride share, so he apparently isn't an attentive fellow. I probably wouldn't have asked him if he was high, but I understand the impetus to cancel.
  3. Are you just waking up to the fact that some people in the USA want to eliminate almost all social changes made over the past several decades?
  4. I agree with the others about having a regular or two. Over the course of 10+ years I hired over 50 different guys. One guy I hired nearly monthly for a decade, another whenever he was in town for the few years he was in this line of work. A few others were hired multiple times, but not enough over a long enough period to be considered a regular. I am confused by part of your post, though, and wonder if everyone is just taking in your last three paragraphs and not the last two sentences of your first paragraph. Am I reading your post correctly: You've hired several guys and enjoyed yourself, but have one guy you've interacted with but never met because he seems too perfect? Are you asking whether that's common for clients -- to hire many guys but not the one that is most appealing? That really only makes sense to me in one of two scenarios: a) You think the guy isn't actually what he claims to be or b) You fear that your strong interest in this guy will make things awkward (e.g., your insecurities will make it difficult to enjoy being with him, you'll have stronger feelings towards him than you are comfortable with, etc). Otherwise, why wouldn't you hire the guy who attracts you the most intensely?
  5. Pardon my ignorance, but what does that second screen capture mean? For example, does it simply mean that 13.5 million Roku Channel viewers have been served an ad for his site? If so, then I have to say I wouldn't be impressed if I were a prospective advertiser on the site. There doesn't seem to be any targeting at all towards either the right community (gay men) or geographic area. I agree with Occasional's post above: Far more meaningful would be to give prospective advertisers a free trial period of, say, three months. Require that the ad include the phrase "when reaching out to X, tell him you found him on www.whatever.com ." The site owner could, of course, suggest that advertisers ask where the client saw their ads in case the clients neglect to include this information. The proof is in the pudding, as they say.
  6. A couple of decades ago, there was a site dedicated to m4m masseurs in the San Francisco area. I no longer remember the URL, but I did use that site a lot to find masseurs. If I'm not mistaken, there was no Rentmasseur at the time so my three main sites for finding masseurs were that one, Masseurfinder and Craigslist. If a new site dedicated to my area appeared and I heard about it, I would certainly use it. The key issue is how clients are going to discover the new site. Unless the site owner has figured out how to drive traffic and can demonstrate that to you, as an advertiser I fear you'd just be throwing your money down the drain (or, rather, just helping to support someone financially who really isn't doing anything for you).
  7. You joined earlier today and this is your first post? I suggest searching the forum for previous threads on this topic as this question has been discussed so much that I'm not sure what else there is to say. You'll find some who think it's entirely reasonable to pay in advance (or pay a deposit in advance), and others who don't. As to what to do when you pay in advance and then the escort fails to deliver as promised, unless the guy offers a full or partial refund you are out your money.
  8. Messaged via Rentmen's platform, or by text directly to them? I'm less likely to think the lack of response is about you being blacklisted than something else such as: a) they haven't seen your message yet; b) they are simply busy; c) your initial message didn't interest them for whatever reason; d) they are actually advertising to promote their porn and not trying to get clients.
  9. Are you a time traveler?

Interesting model, but does he actually keep his word? I've subscribed to a number of well known porn performers and a lot of them fail to deliver what they promise. Only a few actually seemed to understand the notion that to get people to want to subscribe for more than a month you actually have to post some worthwhile content during the preceding month. Posting a still photo with an erection with a tease along the lines of, "Good morning. What would you do with this?" isn't interesting after the first time. 30 second clips with offers to pay $20 to see the full video aren't interesting. Of the guys I've subscribed to, only Manuel Skye, Rhyheim Shabazz and Rafael Alencar managed their pages in a way that kept me around for at least a while. Maybe it's just me -- maybe there are a lot of men who don't mind paying $10/month (or more) to see some still photos and extremely short clips. To me, that should be what's on someone's alternative free page to entice people to pay for a subscription.

Yes, I remember his earliest videos didn't show his face. He's quite the looker and seems to enjoy bottoming a lot with his scene partners.
  12. I know this might get the ire of some, but I frequently use a fork and knife for the first few bites of pizza because it's too hot to pick up and frequently is kind of droopy until the tip is eaten. I agree that the remainder should be eaten by hand.
  13. Who cares when someone chooses to eat cereal, if they like it? The real issue is that Kellogg's cereals are significantly overpriced, a trend that started a long time ago. If one wants cereal for dinner (or breakfast), one should look for alternative brands that don't cost so much. Or, even better, learn to appreciate hot oats. One can get high quality oats for 10-15 cents per ounce, which is much less expensive than any brand of boxed, dry cereal. Quite frankly, a lot of food choices are less expensive than boxed cereal and more nutritious as well given that most boxed cereal is just some form of grain and sugar (with vitamins added so they can claim to be a healthful choice).
  14. Make sure your phone is either not with you or is turned off or your travels will be tracked by your phone. (Okay, I guess you could leave your phone on and turn on airplane mode, but I think it would be safest just to turn it off.)
  15. I hired some escorts who only started working as escorts in their late thirties, so for me it's sort of laughable to have a discussion that men in their forties are past their sell-by date and better have already started their transition plan.
  16. My short answer is "no."
  17. I don't think the problem is that some providers charge too much. It's easy enough to say "no, thanks" if the price is too high for you and let the man in question get his income from other people. The biggest problem is the waste of time involved. When rates were posted with ads, it was easy to weed out people above one's budget without having to contact them first. It doesn't help that some guys really aren't interested in working as escorts but instead are using Rentmen to drive OF/JFF subscriptions. Who knew that back in the early 2000s that that would be the golden age for escorts and clients to be able to find one another online with more information available and more websites to use.
  18. It's okay to be robbed as long as the robbers have hot bodies? Not sure what the intent of your post was, but it comes across as highly inappropriate to me.
  19. Sometimes tech algorithms get it right. This was suggested on my YouTube feed -- a cute young man playing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (3rd Movement) while not wearing a shirt. I clicked on the video because of the image but stayed for the musicianship (and the torso, too). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgbk9tyJVyA
  20. I just saw your review on Rentmasseur because I noticed Enzoy's ad in my area and am interested in him. (I assume it's your review since the experience sounds too similar to be someone else and it was posted on the same date you posted here.) I can understand being upset that a provider hits you up on a platform like Grindr acting like they are into you when in fact they are looking for business, but I would urge anyone who is considering hiring Enzoy to look at the review and Enzoy's response on Rentmasseur. I didn't find his response to be nonsensical, and I'm not sure how you can get a massage for the better part of the hour and only pay $50 unless you're somewhere outside of the USA where the cost of living is a lot lower. It isn't really clear from your review what you discussed paying for full service, but I assume it wasn't $50. Did he want $250 for full service, or did you short him his fee (as he alleges) and he wanted a lot more than that for full service? Note that this guy advertises on both Rentmen and Rentmasseur and given this client's expectation, it makes sense it was posted in the Deli despite it referencing the guy's name on Rentmasseur. His Rentmen link is https://rentmen.eu/The_enzo
  21. Maybe this thread should be moved to the Lounge so as not to give the impression that these guys are advertising as escorts (unless someone receives a reply to the contrary).
  22. Flip your question around: Why would you turn down an opportunity to be with a guy during the other 23 hours of the day? Do you really only have one specific hour during which you can meet? Your question assumes that someone else should change his schedule to accommodate you, and it's just as valid to question why you can't change your schedule to accommodate him.
  23. I've met him socially and he seems like a nice enough guy, though I don't really know him. There are a lot of "drug addicts" where I live and he certainly doesn't come across like that, by which I mean he was perfectly capable of carrying on a normal conversation, didn't appear to be under the influence during the few hours we were at the same function, and didn't have any physical characteristics that one might associate with heavy drug use (by which I mean he didn't look unhealthy, and many guys who have a major drug habit look haggard at a relatively young age). I don't know what PNP means to him, but if you are interested in him and want to make sure that drugs aren't part of your interaction then have a conversation with him before booking him.
  24. I would be surprised if he had OF/JFF content. I think that anyone listing on Rentmen or Rentmasseur is likely to mention that they have said content available since it would increase their income.
