clicking socially - but not enjoying the massage
SecretProvider replied to viewing ownly's topic in Questions About Hiring
Everyone hires for different reasons. -
Just enjoy the fantasy. Play into it. It is probably turning him on that you believe he is straight, as much as it was for you being with a straight guy.

Some guys put their travel dates away from their regular location when they are traveling so people know they are NOT in town. Some guys when they are traveling are visiting family, can still see clients but only have limited availability. Some people just don't know what the scheduled is going to be like on a trip months in advance and don't want to commit until they are sure they can provide. It can be a whole host of reasons without jumping to 'he is lying and he never wants to see me again'.

Best market for young bottoms in US
SecretProvider replied to Braziliancutee's topic in Questions About Hiring
@Braziliancutee I don't know that there is a 'best' city for bottoms, but my advice is stick to the bigger cities where you have a bigger market - LA, San Francisco, San Diego, Chicago, NYC, Philly, DC. -
Any Client Beyond Me & Mark_fl Ever Been Placed on a Timer?
SecretProvider replied to jusmeinbr's topic in The Lounge
When I first started I would set the alarm on my iPhone for one hour with the ring tone, not the alarm sound. My phone would always be on silent so no calls you disturb but then when the hour was up my phone "rang" and I would get up, apologize for the interruption and turn it off as if I was not answering a call and say 'oh wow look at that its been an hour". I also had a trusted friend that I told I was doing this, and I would call them as the session started, and they would be waiting for a call as the session ended to confirm my safety. Now I have more experience at judging what an hour is, I don't need to do that but also it goes off body language - some clients just want you out of there as soon as they cum, some like to stay and chat, some like to push it and be cheeky and extend it and get you to stay for much longer. If someone is giving me the vibe that they have cum and they want me out, I will leave early. Conversely, sometimes I chat/cuddle snuggle and go over - it all depends on the time of the day/evening, how comfortable the client has made me feel, if I am enjoying myself, if I want to see the client again - there is a whole myriad of reasons why I may stay a little over or leave a little early - but the main one is YOU and how YOU are behaving. -
How come providers don't answer calls?

Correct. -
How come providers don't answer calls?

my advice would be: you are going to be taken advantage of with this, set up unrealistic expectations with clients for the rest of us, and it is not going to get you better or more clients. Don't do it. x -
Overnight for 1st visit?
SecretProvider replied to White Daddy Top's topic in Questions About Hiring
I have done overnights on first meeting before, most have worked out however I much prefer to have met before first. Better for everyone. I would suggest 2 hour booking, you may be jet lagged and the time difference can wreck havoc. You also will not really know the proficiency of English of the provider until you meet (assuming you don't speak French, big assumption I know) Consider asking someone you have spent overnight with previously if they would consider to meet you in Paris. Can rentmen providers rate clients?
SecretProvider replied to Mark_fl's topic in Questions About Hiring
No. Even if there was a way, we wouldn't share it with clients as it is a way to protect ourselves from danger. -
I ask for an Uber if they are more than 20 minutes away, and we have not met before, unless they have sent a deposit.
-
you will never know.

Every single time I have answered a call it has been someone jerking off. -
Would you allow a client to tickle you?
SecretProvider replied to knismophile's topic in Questions About Hiring
just ask the escort you are interested in. there is no request that they have not heard before. -
sounds like a bad incident - but let me say this: sometimes when you are negative it become a self fulfilling prophecy. 1. you went to a bathhouse despite not liking them feeling uncomfortable. How is this his fault? 2. you get there and are uncomfortable, complaining about the room. How is this his fault? 3. you talk about how you will only pay in a way that you can get your money back with the provider (im sure that is going to make him feel great) How is this his fault? 4. you sit there visibly uncomfortable, he suggests maybe bringing in someone else to help. (you don't mention any ideas you have to make you feel more comfortable - you are also an active participant here. he is not a mind reader) How is this his fault? 5. you tell him you now want to leave after he has gone out his way to prepare to meet you, travel to the bathhouse. Of course he is going to be annoyed. he thinks you are probably going to reverse the payment like you suggested at the start. How is this his fault? You willed this into situation into existence and you need to take some responsibly for it. I'm not saying what he did was right - but you literally threatened him that you would reverse payment if you were not happy. Not a great way to start a session. You may want to explore seeing a therapist or counselor and work on anxiety instead of hiring sex workers in bathhouses.

asking me questions that are already on my add. best example - "Host?" it clearly states on my profile I host. it shows they just are not serious, they haven't even read your profile. one word messages in themselves are also red flags. It's rentmen, not grindr.

Most of my clients are married to women, enjoy gay sex but will never leave their wives.

Is it common for providers to ask for a client’s pic?
SecretProvider replied to hwic04's topic in Questions About Hiring
It's not common, but it is appreciated. If you are not comfortable with it - describe yourself. Don't just say "im a bit big" if you are 500lbs. Don't forget to tell them you have a huge Santa like beard, etc etc. and especially don't forget to tell us if you have some kind of disability - we need to be prepared for what comes through the door. You are better off seeing someone who can satisfy you than someone who will not. -
the question you posed was 'is it a common practice?' my answer is it is more common than not, but its not normally the 20% you would tip in other service industries. nothing relating to whether it is right/wrong/fair. With your hotel - I am assuming the QR code is meant for the people cleaning your room, which you would never see them do or have interaction with, but I don't work in a hotel so I have no idea.

Advertisers getting testy with lurkers.
SecretProvider replied to viewing ownly's topic in Questions About Hiring
you are using their content for free. we get notifications when people view our profiles. if you are looking EVERY DAY, you are unlikely to book and you are satisfying your desires by simply looking - therefore you are not a customer. If you are wanting to know if they will be near your town, 'buddylist' them and you will get a notification. Or perhaps look once a week. Daily looking is a bit much. How would you feel if you knew someone was looking at your photos every single day. it's a bit creepy. some newer profiles are only contactable through rent.men instead of rentmen.eu and only if you have rentmen account. (doesn't have to be premium) -
There are screening mechanisms you will need to put in place. here is some advice - 1. Reach out to an older provider who is well reviewed and been working for a few years and ask for drinks or chat for mentorship. 2. Use Mr.Number. There are some POS providers who have left bad reviews for their good clients in order to keep them to themselves, so if someone only has one or two reviews saying 'time waster' or 'cop', I still communicate with them - however, proceed with caution. If they have many reviews you know just ignore or block. 3. You have plenty of photos/videos on your page. A request for more is a huge red flag. A request for FaceTime is also a red flag - but if you do one, make it not more than 60 seconds to say hello, show you are real, end of call. 4. no phone calls. rarely has anyone called actually made a booking - they are 99 times out of 100 just jerking off. 5. Controversial on here as there ARE Nigerian scammers with RM accounts - but if they want advance bookings - great! but ask for small deposit. If they are willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a session with you, they should have no problem sending $50 to lock down a time. if they are concerned about Venmo/cashapp/amazon gift card, tell them to do same day appointment with no deposit - just reach out on the day. Do not let posters here turn you off this - You have proven yourself to be real - until you meet someone who has reached out, they are just a phone number. You have been jerked around enough now to know that people do this to sex workers because they get off on it. Most, not all, but most people posting here don't fully understand that because they are legit clients and can't imagine people doing it to us - you know they do. 6. There are people who use rentmen as an interactive porno site - they jerk off to our pics/videos and interact with us while doing so adding to the fantasy. They are fulfilled by that alone, they do not need to make a booking to be satisfied. Keep this in mind when people reach out. Be friendly but do not play into it. If they are engaging in too much sex talk, cut it. It's a fine line between them asking if you are down to do whatever scene they want to, and them just milking you for content - but you will soon learn where the line is. "I prefer not to engage in to much sex talk, I have gotten a good idea of what you want and I think we will get along well - so let's save it for when we meet". if they cut off off communication after that - you know why. 7. if they message saying they want a 3 hour booking - they are fake. In all my years of full time sex work, I have never had anyone do a 3 hour booking. 2 hours and extended - yes. But three hours up front - no. Be wary of people who are asking for long bookings first, straight up. They do exits, just be wary. 8. never go to apartment or hotel without apartment number or room number. Good Luck.
