  1. Another one I remember. A group of friends did a yearly ski trip, staying at a big condo with multiple bedrooms and a huge hot tub inside. One year Frank and I went up early on the first day, the rest of the group wasn't arriving until after dinner. He mentioned several times we'd be able to use the hot tub naked, in a tone that made it obvious he was looking forward to that. There'd been other subtle signs that he was open to some play. Come hot tub time, I was too shy to initiate anything - not even some foot grazing in the tub which was my go-to move at the gym. A few years later I hung out at his place one night, we both put on our lycra shorts and laid on his bed watching a movie; and that's all. I kept in sporadic touch with him for years after that, just recently noticed that he'd removed me from his Facebook friend list.
  2. Getting a new refrigerator, two guys got it inside the house and plugged in. The door worked better opening the other way, so one guy went back to the truck while the other guy (more my type) stayed inside to flip the door. At one point, he & I were holding the door up and I'd swear he was grinding his crotch against my hand. I was much more timid in those days, so...missed opportunity.
  3. I somehow missed that two episodes dropped last week. Fun treat for me getting a bonus episode before this week's.
  4. I agree with the "dark and nasty", after two seasons it's uncomfortable to see Deborah & Ava at each other's throats to this level. I will definitely keep watching though.
  5. sounds very much like "1491", by Charles C. Mann. I picked that up after reading a science fiction novel about time travel and Christopher Columbus, but I've never finished it.
  6. A friend recommended it last weekend and I'm on track to finish it within a day or two. It's very good.
  7. I agree with all of this. I have only hired two providers at once a few times. I did once for my birthday, one was a guy I'd seen before, another was new to the biz, and the new guy was overwhelmed and uncomfortable by the whole scene.
  8. True, but the "no-brand" beer was awful. I was into home brewing at the time and I'd buy it just for the bottles, it was cheaper than buying new bottles. I tried it and it had an odd smell than I was finally able to identify as mushrooms. I poured the rest of the case out.
  9. Back when my mother was alive, before a family visit I'd do what I called a "mom clean", much more rigorous than my normal (sporadic? 😁) vacuuming and dusting.
  10. I buy store brands with a few exceptions. Generic Q-Tips are horrible, verging on painful. My sister's boyfriend (later husband) was moving out into his first place, she'd been living on her own for years & was pretty thrifty. She took him on his first grocery shopping trip and was steering him towards store brands. When they came to the jelly, he objected saying "I was raised on Smuckers".
  11. I contacted a guy asking about a mild bondage scene, he repeated the different elements I'd mentioned and I just had the image of him tallying each request up. He came up with a very high number, I declined.
  12. I just put this on hold at the library and I'm looking forward to reading it. Believe : the untold story behind Ted Lasso, the show that kicked its way into our hearts by Egner, Jeremy
  13. My toaster oven has many options, I can bake (at a specific temperature), broil, and toast in it - separate settings for bagels vs toast which I've never understood. I'm a big fan of the "keep warm" option, I'll put things in there as I finish cooking and avoid the whole "trying to make everything finish as the same time" juggling act, as well as just to gently warm up things like croissants or pop-tarts.
  14. I read an article about the cast previewing one of the seasons, and Joan Collins said "John James looks prettier than all of us!"
  15. Two trailers have been released so far. Krypto the superdog has a prominent part in each. I'm more than excited about this, crazy-dog-person that I've become since adopting my rescue 10 years ago. I hope Krypto has more screen time than what we've seen in the trailers. Director James Gunn has said Krypto was inspired by his rescue, a real terror when he was first adopted, and he wondered what it'd be like if this dog had super powers. Guardians of the Galaxy 3, also directed by Gunn, focused on animals (the experimental ones and Cosmo the space dog) quite a bit as well.
  16. not to mention "men and women aged 21-60 are welcome".
  17. Nothing recent, it was probably 20 years ago. It was more of an escort session, I remember he wasn't all that interactive but he's in my notes as having the most gorgeous uncut cock I'd ever seen.
  18. I'm remembering the exchange on Will & Grace when Grace was considering a threesome with an old boyfriend - at one point either Will or Karen told her "Kinky people don't call themselves kinky", and Will said "I'm gay! I have the kinky built in!" 😁 https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2185986678380910
  19. last year at a hotel with some old friends, one of my oldest friends (mid-60's but looks like he's in his 30's) wore a long-sleeve t-shirt at (and in) the pool.
  20. Yeah, I noticed that too. I admit that any mention of tantra piques my interest.
  21. Coming to Detroit in a couple of weeks... https://rent.men/TantraDad
  22. I saw a button at a science fiction convention that said "Klingon Opera: It's Not Over Until the Fat Lady Dies".
