You can filter emails by traits. It cut my incoming by 90%.

I've had guys SWEAR that the pictures are real and of thembefore I make the appointment and STILL not be real or them.

I have had guys show up who are not the guy pictured....50% of the time I send them on their way. 50% of the time they are close enough. They are the ones taking the risk of making a trip for nothing. But I don't like the lying.

The problem really is that if they have shirtless or even nude pics - showing up fully clothed as someone else entirely means you have to let them in and see them undressed before deciding. And then it is awkward kicking them out. So I have literally made guys take their shirts off in the hallway outside my door. And still sent them home.
