You can see on his IG that he's seasoned in the East Coast "network" of IG boys for discreet hire and notable, busy, gentlemen who connoisseur them. That's why he was expecting/asking $1k+... for anyone familiar that grade/class/style/type of guy seeks most of his work through social media DM, probably started their career being brought in by friends as "party favors"  with "VIP" gentlemen either at private parties or the obvious circuit parties run by "promoters," where the standard is the boys leave with envelopes or Venmos of a few grand and connections with new hot guys to hookup with, earn with, and the daddies and gents who scheduled dates, followed on social media, etc.

This is where things can get touchy.. the guys who are DL bi, "gay for pay", ambiguous, etc. often can continue to command multigrand prices if they are good at the game. The gay ones, being naturally more fluid and comfortable with the environment to party and play (and not infrequently, maybe, addendum erotic interest in cleancut successful gentlemen in a range of age and range of nerdiness to glamorousness), often end up maneuvering a range from multi hundreds ($500+, enough to be ~above~ an average escort via RM or porn, but selectively as coveted) to a few thousand when and where they can maintain the interest. Things like follower count/popularity/known exclusivity/ who you've shot with or modeled for/ if you're actually signed with an agency/ and where you're based etc. are all factors in effect for what you may negotiate or pay with these kinds of guys. This provider is Ivy educated it seems? Absolutely contributes to his expectations. There are very discreet "agents" or networkers who seek this out as well to groom the type of guy for professional or exclusive dates with all manner of successful and discreet guy some of whom may be on this forum but I deduce most are not.

Like someone mentioned, they met this provider for less than $1000, didn't surprise me, but I'd bet it wasn't the $300 escort "standard". Similarly know a kept boy of a certain gay Hollywood bigshot still meeting interested parties for $500 dates despite presenting as the $1k+ type standard. The Brazilian babe surcharge NY-FL mentioned here on other threads is often because of this too. They're balancing interest via social media and, discreet or not, ads on RM.

This provider didn't get on RM delusionally expecting $1k, he was already groomed that way. I'm guessing the recent change in profile is because he's tired of the seedier enquiries via RM from guys maxing out at $400. Likely, one could reach him via IG DM for business but expect that $1k price tag in place or at least his starting point. It's not arrogance per se, mind you -it becomes something of a competition and discreet status game to be commanding the highest and most exotic offers, to be sought after for these parties... and subseqently presenting the most fabulous life online. None wants to be the one caught lowering their business to "whore" levels, and that often becomes an inside joke only for and among themselves.

Major extra caveat here is how this all works out when factoring international marketplace prices etc. but that's for a different tangent.

I could have said all of this in half as many words, but this seems reasonable.

Yes I know what he looks like now. I was one of his first Johns in the late 90s, then again a few times over the yea.

Reverse image search leads to an IG account of a bodybuilder / filmmaker in Amsterdam with 42.3K followers.  That account posted 3 IG stories 4 hours ago that indicated that he is currently in Amsterdam, not West Hollywood.  He apparently

The images also lead to multiple social media accounts, including a LinkedIn, so this RM profile is solely to drive traffic to the OF.

Yes I too did an image search. The actual guy doesn’t seem like he’s actually an escort at all. Or barely is one. All seems weird. And I’ve never seen someone refuse to meet if you’re not an OF supporter. That’s a new one.

  4. So this old nugget is back.

That’s bullshit. 100% bullshit. What rule derived from the nature of the business you refer to? What do you think came first, the prostitute or the client?

You seem to believe that clients CREATED escorting. That clients CREATED RentMen. No, the only thing that has been created by clients is stuff like review boards like this. Maybe in this realm, people can assume rules they can or won’t do. Other than that, y’all aren’t running the business either, nor making rules for how providers wish to run things.

I’m fine with clients paying after they have received, however a deposit is not negotiable. Granted in the case of this guy, the deposit did seem to be asked a bit late. I don’t even give out my hotel name or address without a deposit. They get cross streets, where there’s likely 5 other hotels nearby.

That said, unless someone posts the exchange of what occurred…who’s to say it actually happened verbatim? Something could be missing here. I find most stories here hard to believe without text message screenshots from start to finish.

I’ve NEVER paid a deposit and 99% of providers don’t ask for them. Even the high end ones who are models and reality stars and Instagram influencers who won’t show their faces in rentmen. Of whom I’ve seen many.  You’re quite delusional.

Make sure if you book with him you have a back up! I saw him several months ago – – had a good time and he texted me several times about getting together again but I couldn't for personal reasons… Over the last few weeks I literally had five appointments with him which he canceled/no showed every time – in almost all cases telling me he "forgot" he had a previous appointment lol – kind of hard with a calendar on your phone 🙂 One time he told me that I was such a nice guy that he was going to offer me a discount on the next appointment because he felt so badly and then he – you guessed it – stood me up…

Can confirm, similar. Hot but flakey.

  7. He’s good if you like putting guys on pedestals and like muscle guys. I can easily imagine why some guys would not have a good time. He kisses (usually) but is for sure gay for pay. So he may not be as enthusiastic for some guys who want say a power bottom or enthusiastic dick sucker. He does look like his photos. I’m guessing his fee slides up and down based on what you want him to do. 99.99999% sure of that last bit. As usual, I’m too lazy to reply to IMs, I’ll just delete.

Well, he is straight, so you can't expect him to do any gay stuff. Probably he watches het porn while you suck him off.

Assuming this is a real person.

That happens more than one thinks it would.  My understanding is that none of them are under a contractual obligation to appear.  Instead, they pay Adonis for the right to appear (similar to a hair stylist or personal trainer who pays for the right to use the premises) and they keep the $ earned.  Consequently, a dancer can decide not to show for any reason (he gets a better offer; it's raining; he's not feeling well; or he just isn't into it/us)

Mostly. The really big draws get to dance for free. But do t want you to say because the other dancers get jealous slash mad at Tim/Matt.
