Axiom, I loved your hot guide story, although I must admit I hope it would escalate into something more I'm sure you did too!
When I visited Manaus, back in 2005, I met an insanely hot young guy in one of the saunas. He was a Capoeira teacher and invited me to his school where I got to see him in action and it was amazing. The action in the bedroom was equally impressive. I was sad to leave after almost a week spent together. Many years later I had a friend request from him on Facebook and he was sill very handsome, and turns out he already had children when we met. Hope I get to return to Brazil one day...

Were you asking for advice or our opinion? I do not think so.
Thank you for this personal and beautifully written vignette. I love how you generously share your fear, your hesitation, your infatuation. Some here may think that you were a loser in this situation. Who knows? I praise your courage to show yourself far away from the confident and self assuring player some here portray to be.

Greetings folks...
As you might have noticed, this site has been offline since around mid-day Tuesday. Our prior hosting provider decided that they are unable to continue hosting our website and had ended service to us. Unfortunately they did not provide any notification to me about this decision and I was forced to move the site to a new server without any sort of heads up. This includes arranging for the new hosting company, configuring the new server to meet the technical requirements, getting a copy of our current data, restoring that data (over 300GB of files), recovering the database (over 18.5 million records in that database taking up 11GB of space for the DB alone), and reconfiguring the software itself to run in the new environment.
While migrating there was also some technical issues that I ran into that required me to coordinate with Invision's technical support team. So that back and forth added additional time to the mix as well.
And to pile on further… all of this occurred while I'm traveling for my day job. So I've been doing this while in a hotel in between doing my day job on the road.
There are most likely several other things that will need to be fixed still and I'm working through them. For example, email may only be partially working. I still need to setup things like SPF and DKIM for the new server so our emails don't flag as spam. There are other settings that might need to be redone to work in the new server as well that I'm not thinking about yet. (As you might have imagined, I've not had much sleep during this whole process.)
But anyway... you get the idea. No... we're not going anywhere! This was a minor setback but we'll continue to move forward. Thank you all for your understanding and support!

Si! Si! "I, too, hope that you make more travels back to Mother Brazil and explore other parts of this magnificent country. The culture is varied; the men are gorgeous all over.
When I went to the Amazonia portion of Brazil, I stayed in a pousauda (sp) guest hotel and had my own guide for four or five days. He happened to have been the son of the manager and was a truly gorgeous lad in his early 20s.
On my first evening, he and I sat in the very spacious lobby and talked about an hour plus prior to dinner. During our conversation he mentioned that he was not gay and had been hit on a few times. The next day he took me on a solo tour through parts of the Amazon jungle; it was slightly a daunting experience, for I am very fearful of snakes. Fortunately, we encountered none but knew of that crocs or alligators plagued the river waters.
During Day 3 he and I got inside of a canoe and paddled up the Amazon to the hotel where he formerly worked. It's the only hotel in the jungle that has been built on huge stilts. (At this date in time, I have completely forgotten specific names of places and people and things. (Sorry!). Jhonny was hailed as royalty as his fellow workers greeted and conversed with him. I just stood and marveled as to what I was seeing. He gave me a brief tour of the facilities, and at tone point, Jhonny took me inside of a greenhouse and explained its significance. He, at one point, decided to sit. Because I was so taken aback by his handsomeness and beauty and my desire "to smother him" with deep, wet kisses and give him one hell of a super mouthwatering tongue bath, I decided to stand and listen.
We must have stayed inside of this place for almost an hour, for as we departed, it was slightly dark outside. We returned to the canoe or row boat and were on our way. As we neared the lodging, the boat abruptly stopped in the water; I was completely freaked out, for I do not know how to swim. Jhonny did not say anything and got the motor running again. When he and I reached the lobby, I looked over at him and almost went out of my fucking mind in my looking at his tee shirt that was wet from sweat and his slightly bulging muscles. We parted company and readied ourselves for dinner.
After a good night sleep in my windowless cabin, I arose, had breakfast, and was invited into Jhonny's small study and join him at his desk . He'd wanted to give me some discs of the photos that he'd taken since I would be taking off an hour or so later. While I was at the computer and typing, Jhonny complimented me on my typing skills, for I took one year of typing while in high school and had developed a wonderful, smooth and somewhat rapid speed.
He gave me the discs; I gave him a very, very nice gratuity and said goodbye to him and his mother. The other seven or eight guests had left for another day of touring.
A taxi took me to an area where I joined a super-gorgeous driver who drove me to the airport that was in the major city whose name I've forgotten. For almost an hour, I was very acutely horny for that super-hot, muscular driver. We, unfortunately, drove in silence, for he could not speak Ingles and I know virtually little Brasilian Portuguese. We arrived; I thanked him and gave him a good gratuity.
To date all that I have that remains is a slight memory of my Amazon experience. It was ALL GOOD!
So to all of you Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo lovers, venture out during your future visits to "Mother Brasil," for you'll meet a variety of folk, flora, fauna, culture, and oh yes: NATURAL BEAUTY from many vantage points.

I still live in the house I was born in back in the early 60s. The neighborhood has gone through its series of changes over the past seven decades, but a few things remained the same...until this week.
At the top of my street (which runs off a main street, though not too busy) sits a gas station which opened up in the 1950s, just when my neighborhood was being built up. It started out as an Esso Station, then changed to Exxon (in the 70s), then Texaco, then a 'no name' brand. Most of the houses surrounding it were built around the same time, and the building boom ended around the early 1970s, as there were no more empty lots to build on. I remember going to this gas station with my mom or dad as a toddler. It was owned by an Italian man who immigrated here in the 1920s when he was a baby, and he opened this station when he married. It has remained a 'full service station' ever since (never changed to self-serve) with a one-bay garage for very small mechanical work.
Around 1975, when I was starting middle school, this guy had his son - a recent high school graduate - join him at the gas station. So I was around 11, and this guy had to be 18. I remember driving up in the passenger seat, and seeing this gorgous young man pump our gas, open the hood and change the oil, and then stretch across our windshield and wash the windows - usually with his 'uniform' unbuttoned and wide open. I still remember his wavy brown hair on his head, his mustache and light facial hair, and the light hair on his chest. I realized I was gay from the first day he waited on us. (And he was so friendly and polite to my parents).
As I got older and learned to drive, I would always offer to fill up the tank each Saturday, knowing that 'Kenny' was working. So I'm in my late teens, he's in his 20s, and now fully matured into a man - complete with a full chest of hair and dazzling smile. In the hot summer months, he always wore his shirt opened or no shirt at all - showing off his beautiful sculpted chest / arms. I lost count on how many times I sprung a boner staring at him stretched across the windshield washing the glass bare-chested. I remember to fill the tank up then, it cost $15 and I would give him a $20 bill and tell him to 'keep the change' (my mom and dad told me it was nice to tip, but that was too much! I didn't care - it was my money from my part time job!). Kenny would always wink and smile, and say 'Thanks buddy ! See you next Saturday'.
As we got older, Kenny aged like fine wine into his 30s, 40s, 50s - kept the handsome face, the hairy chest, the muscled body. (He looked very much like the Playgirl model Rock Pamplin in his 1970s spread.) The only difference was his wavy brown hair had a sprinkle of gray in it (including his chest) which made him all the more sexier to me. He'd make light conversation, but I was always too lost in his looks to respond - worried about the boner in my pants. My tongue would hang out whenever he stretched across the windshield and showed off his chest and muscled arms. (In the meantime, about 25 years ago, his dad passed unexpectedly, leaving him the business. That's when I stopped tipping him, when he became an owner.)
I still go on a regular basis to get gas from him, especially in the summer. Now in my early 60s, I somehow found the courage to engage in conversation with him if he's talkative. The other day he broke my heart - said he's putting the business up for sale, as he's pushing 70 and is tired of pumping gas in the frigid cold winters. He plans on moving to Florida to be closer to his 'family' ( a sister and his nephews) in November. This is the first time in 50 years that Kenny actually killed my boner. And I didn't realize this gorgeous hunk never married, and never had kids. For the first time, I wondered the other day if he was possibly gay ? Damn! I could've offered more than a five dollar tip over the years !
So it's the end of an era in my neighborhood. I'm going to miss Kenny, his gorgeous smile, his beautiful body even at 70 (he could pass for early 50s). If I had enough guts, I'd ask him to shave some chest hair and put it in an envelope for me - to have as a keepsake. But I don't have the guts.

The obituary wasn't posted - I only noticed that he mentioned a possible obituary stating a death from a few months back, and then I looked at William M's profile and saw he was last on the site at the end of May. Thankfully the obituary couldn't have been his.

+ José Soplanucas reacted to + Charlie in Has anyone heard from WilliamM?
Although William M and I lived for years in the same city, even the same neighborhoods, I didn't become aware of him until I joined this site, and I didn't recognize him as someone I had known in the many years I lived in Philadelphia. He never gave any indication that he recognized me either, although I had been reasonably active in the local gay community for many years (I was involved in the gay rights movement in the 1960's, and was active in community organizations during the AIDS crisis in the 80's). On this site we often disagreed with one another, generally on rather trivial subjects, but we never made any effort to meet or find out who "Charlie" and "William M" were in real life. It was clear from his posts that we were about the same age, so it wouldn't surprise me to learn that he has passed, like so many of my contemporaries. I wish I had seen MikeBiDude's post of that obituary, so I could have speculated on whether it could have been William.

I’ve hidden my post…as we are doing more research. Indeed, seems @WilliamM ‘s account shows activity after the date of the obituary. We are researching….
I’ll continue to try and reach him.

Perhaps US escorts should follow Sister Hong's lead and accept groceries as payment.
However, I am sure they would become abusive anyways and dare to demand two dozens of eggs.

Clearly. if we are talking about $300 as an "outrageous" fee for someone's time. My lawyer charges $500/hr. My Plumber charges $300/hr. Neither one of them ever brought me to orgasm.....😉

+ José Soplanucas reacted to BSR in Malcolm-Jamal Warner drowned
Just googled it, in the US ~100 people per year die because of rip current drowning. Even strong swimmers drown in rip currents because they panic and try to swim against the current, which exhausts them so much they can’t swim back to shore.
Panic plays a major factor in many drowning deaths, rip current or not. I learned how to swim in many summers of Red Cross swimming classes, but they never taught us how to stay calm and avoid panic. I learned how to deal with water emergencies only in a Boy Scout lifesaving merit badge course.

Well, I do not think anyone here cares about what YOU find repulsive. If the friend is curious about having sex with a FTM guy, this thread is about what he is interested in, and I am sure he knows he may have to deal with a "micropenis".
Could you try to be more supportive, or at least respectful and considerate for others' preferences?
