“Emerson said, ‘A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.’
Maybe so. But an intelligent consistency - and rigorous quality control - in hiring escorts is probably a big part of why I’ve never woken up in a questionable Bogotá hotel bathtub full of ice, conducting an unexpected inventory of my internal organs.
People mock routine & "regularity" until they’re the ones explaining to the local constabulary or consular official how ‘spontaneity’ turned into a missing wallet, a fractured rib, and a mysterious rash.
Yes, I exaggerate but sometimes the so-called hobgoblin of little minds is really just the patron saint of risk management. Especially in situations involving strangers, dim lighting, locked hotel doors, and the kind of decision-making process that begins with, ‘What’s the worst that could happen?’”
I believe in "cautious exploration" in hiring, but my preference is usually for reliable regularity.

JayCeeKy got a reaction from JB_Studio38 in Delays in appointments, when to throw in the towel?
Over the past year, I’ve noticed a significant increase in last-minute postponements and cancellations from escorts  - (and I am guessing that providers might report the same thing about some clients as well). It has become especially frustrating when I’ve already invested time and money into the arrangement: booking hotels, traveling to another city, and mentally gearing up for what was supposed to be an enjoyable experience.
What disappoints me most is not only the inconvenience, but also the financial cost and repeated sense of letdown. More troubling is that this pattern is now occurring even with some of my semi-regular hires, whom I previously considered dependable.
At this point, I’m conflicted. Part of me feels that continued unreliability should simply be a dealbreaker -  after all, most people would stop seeing a doctor who was repeatedly unavailable with little notice. On the other hand, I wonder whether this is simply part of the business and something I should accept with patience.
It’s difficult to decide where to draw the line, particularly when the chemistry and attraction are otherwise excellent. But reliability and respect for someone’s time do matter, and repeated cancellations inevitably erode my interest in this already expensive "hobby."

I am not a Spanish speaker but I've always heard that "morbo" is usually translated from Spanish slang as either "kinky" or "super hot."  I'm engaging a couple of Latin escorts in Nashville this weekend (including Daniel_hot) who claim to be "morbo" - and I hope they're more "kinky" and "hot" than they are "morbidly obese" as someone suggested as a translation.

I visit Nashville occasionally but I have only had luck with Rentmen (many ATL escorts occasionally travel to Nashville for a couple of days - "Imuno" aka "UltraOcean" lives in ATL but advertises on RM as "Near travel to Nashville" - and he is a fantastic hire, IMHO).
I do check out Adam4Adam but have never had any luck.
I also review Grindr but likewise zero luck. If you're visiting Grindr be sure to look for  the “roses” or "gift box with red ribbon" emojis for possible hires. Also, some escorts will offer “massage” and some will even say "Gen" although many know enough to write "G3N" as Grindr will boot ban anyone who is too obvious (I've been banned 2 or 3 times but I always "Appeal" and totally deny the accusation of soliciting - and have always had the ban removed - I suspect that Grindr doesn't want to acknowledge that they read folk's private messages - although their "Terms of Service" may permit them to do so - I never researched it).

JayCeeKy got a reaction from + melrosesouth in Benson Boone
Love him or roll your eyes at him, Benson Boone has somehow mastered the art of being impossible to ignore. Critics love to dismiss his music as “sugar-coated emotional cardio” and some even call him a discount Freddie Mercury with better hair and fewer operatic mustaches. But honestly? The man understands spectacle.
That back flip off the piano during the Academy Awards performance practically deserves its own stunt category. It single-handedly convinced me to keep watching the Oscars for at least one more year instead of collapsing face-first into my couch three hours in.
And then there’s the wardrobe. Those vacuum-sealed suits look like they were stitched directly onto him by NASA engineers. Between the dramatic vocals, the gymnast-level stage antics, and the aggressively tailored pants, he’s basically become a public service announcement for gay men updating their “hot celebrity” rankings.
Say what you want about the music, but the man performs like he’s trying to win both a Grammy and a decathlon at the same time - and frankly, that level of commitment deserves respect, at least IMHO.

Recent news story on several online sites in which a porn star has made accusations about Spikey: "Cliff Jensen “My test was positive for gonorrhea!!” (tip @ Bangle1)."
    April 23, 2024
Cliff Jensen posted on X that he cancelled all his shoots for the month since he was having symptoms, and he blamed Spikey Dee for his STI test results, which weren’t current.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not sure how much credence to put into the accusation by Cliff Jensen. There appears to be conflicting evidence about the source of Cliff's STDs. And, at least one article says that SpikeyDee has denied the accusation BUT did pay for Cliff's medical expenses.
I'm not trying to disparage Spikey's reputation but I do think an escort's health should be a consideration before hiring - though I suspect that Spikey's roommate brings up some counterpoints to Cliff's allegations.
I will probably STILL hire Spikey as I think Cliff's allegation seems to lack evidence.  If you haven't seen the porn scene with Cliff and Spikey  et al. - it's a good one!

JayCeeKy got a reaction from MassageCommunityMember in CLIENTS: Burner Phone vs Primary Cell vs Google Voice vs ???
I've used the "Burner" APP (I'm referring to the APP, not a Burner phone) for years with complete satisfaction. What I like best is that you can change your number every month - and can choose whatever area code you want - this is good if you're visiting somewhere and want to use the local area code (it probably doesn't matter but I'm thinking that local escorts might be more responsive to someone in their own area code?).
I pay per year which currently is $90. Yes, you must give them your current mobile phone number (they must have your phone number so that Burner can use your phone to complete calls) - but there's never been a privacy issue in the 5 or 6 years I've been using Burner.  And, obviously, you must give them your name and address to pay for their services.
When you use the Burner number to call someone you dial the number and then you receive a screen message that says "HEADS UP - We'll hide your number by calling your Burner first." Then, your Burner will call (the number you're calling)" -- you have to choose "OK" - and then Burner will call the number. The person you call ONLY sees your Burner number on his screen.
If you receive a call on your Burner number, your screen will tell you that someone is calling your Burner number - and then you have to press "OK" to receive the call.
Hope this helps you decide. I like Burner and recommend it without reservations.

I checked into a NYC hotel last week and at the same check-in  counter was a drop-dead-gorgeous man, tall, blond hair, great build. We got into the same elevator and discussed the rudeness of some New Yorkers. He said he was Swedish but now lives in Boston and that Bostoners can sometimes be rude, also. When I got to the room who is the first photo to come up on both Grindr AND Rentmen, our friend Mitch (I wonder if the "Den" means Denmark even though he said Sweden)? Yes, my friend from the elevator. I sent him several messages of a willingness to meet - but he never replied. He must be totally booked up or has enough demand to pick & choose whom he wishes to meet. Or, perhaps he didn't like doing business in the same hotel where he sleeps - who knows. Regardless, he seemed like a really nice guy, easy to talk to, and is absolutely beautiful. Luckily, I found several other super hot guys here in the Big Apple (with super fees, also, at least to someone from the boonies) so I'm not complaining. I admit that I had to stroll by some of the hallowed places in NYC of my younger years e.g. Stella's, Gaiety, etc. which brought back great memories but also a great sense of how quickly time flies.
