  1. I was looking at the "Pro" search tool on A4A today and it looks to me like that function has either been disabled or perhaps is being updated. Also, I noticed, although there was only one profile that had "Masseur" under his name, the regular "Masseurs" seem to be missing. Is A4A another victim of SESTA/FOSTA ? Anybody else notice this change - or maybe it's just a temporary problem?
  2. I saw some real nice "National Parks" calendars at Wal-Mart yesterday for $3.49. They're in the main aisle near Housewares, if you're interested.
  3. Three reasons why people think that "good things come in threes": 1. ancient Chinese tradition that the number three was lucky 2. most events in life are the result of random chance but humans tend to believe that events are purposeful and not haphazard 3. observational bias - if you THINK that good things come in threes you will be EXPECTING and watching for three good events, disregarding "bad" events during the intervening time
  4. Dr. John Gottman claims he can predict with 85-90% accuracy whether a couple (including gay/lesbian couples) will remain married or divorce - and he can do so just by observing their interaction for about 15 minutes. His conclusions are evidence-based after decades of research. Having provided marriage and family therapy for many years, I can attest that his observations are valid, IMHO. If you are interested, I encourage you to watch:
  5. I agree with your distinction between people who lead moral lives but who, for whatever reason, do not subscribe to any particular religion or belief system. It's been said that there are many people that God has that the Church doesn't (and vice versa). The theologian, Karl Rahner, got into hot water once by saying that many (most?) non-Christians/non-believers are, in fact, Christian in essence, if not in name (the Anonymous Christian). But there are some people who believe that, because God is "all-forgiving" that they somehow have God "by the balls" i.e. there's no way he's gonna punish us because of our weak human nature. However, most religions propose a theme of divine justice, i.e. that there will be an accounting of our deeds, and that there will a separation of "sheep from goats, wheat from chaff." I find it hard to believe that Hitler would have the same fate in the afterlife as my saintly grandmother. Christianity teaches that God is all-forgiving, but would not someone have to ask for forgiveness first? In the end, maybe we should all just hope that hell is just another literary form.
  6. I find merit, though it is not w/out criticism, in Pascal's Wager: The wise decision is to wager that God exists, since "If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing", meaning one can gain eternal life if God exists, but if not, one will be no worse off in death than if one had not believed. In other words, what do you have to lose?
  7. After a lot of research, I bought the Panasonic Arc 5 (ES-LV65-S) a couple of months ago. I am very happy with it - close shave and easy maintenance. Put it in you Amazon "shopping cart" and wait until the price goes down to around $120. You don't need the charging base - it just takes up valuable bathroom real estate.
  8. No, but then, skepticism is characteristic of us Cancers.
  9. I drove down to Nashville a few weeks ago to scout the talent. Very sparse pickins. The best of the lot (or so I thought) turned out to be a real dud. Go for the Windy City. Plus, there's a lot more to see/do in Chicago, though the escort rates are probably higher - but not by much. Edit: after I looked at the OP it occurred to me that perhaps he was asking about his own escorting opps in those cities. If so, then I would suggest that he give Nashville a try since there is such meagre competition.
  10. I used to work with Drug Reps on a daily basis, and this article is quite illuminating. And I have no doubt that it used by many Reps. Not to stereotype, but almost every one of the Reps that I came across (both male and female) was good-looking and had an ebullient personality. They would always remember family member names, treat the staff like they were all his/her buddies, and were keen observers of happenings (and gossip) around the clinic, especially info concerning the prescribers. Your link did not work for me - but maybe this one will (it also includes a link to the original article). I have several relatives who are M.D.'s and I am going to forward this article to them. Thanks for the info. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1876413/

I thought you were going to say ".....and lived to tell us about it?"
  12. I might give him a shot since I'm not far from Evansville. Sounds like a gem. Slim pickins in these here parts.
  13. Nelson Rockefeller - when he briefly ran for Prez in 1968 Captain Binghamton (Joe Flynn) from McHale's Navy - literally ran into him at CBS Television City Tom Wilson - played Biff in Back to the Future Tab Hunter - when he acted at a local dinner theatre back in the 90s, I think; gorgeous man, even in his 60s Guy Lombardo - checked him into his hotel room - nice guy, very short Ed McMahon - at Bookstore in the Beverley Center in LA I saw the guy who played the principal in Ferris Bueller's Day Off cruising Santa Monica Boulevard a few times. I think he was convicted a few years later of a felony count of child porn and was placed on the Sex Offender Register.

    My Meds

My doc told me years ago that "green, leafy vegetables" are the healthiest things you can eat. When my ejaculations were really skimpy (TMI ?) a urologist friend told me to "eat more green, leafy vegetables." Maybe Popeye was on to something. "I'm strong to the finish, cause I eat my spinach....."
  15. Skeletons found in western Europe prior to the Crusades (11th century - when western Europe was introduced to sugar) most skeletons have a full set of teeth.
  16. Bump means that the "Thread" has been dormant and no one is making comments about it so you want to Bump it back into prominence to get more feedback/response. Sorta like bumping a topic from the bottom of the chain (or queue) to the top of the chain. A member can keep bumping a topic to the top of the list, or just give up.
  17. Kissing Cousins.
  18. If you're ever driving on I-65 just south of Louisville, be sure to visit the Patton Museum at Fort Knox ("The Home of Armor"). In their Gift Shop, you can even pick up a toy gun/grenade for your young nieces/nephews for Xmas. For the really grim among us, the Museum has the actual car in which George was killed "in an accident," though Big Bill O'Reilly seems to think it was an assassination. http://www.generalpatton.org/_/img/exhibits/banner2.jpg Anyway, Happy Birthday, George. If you were still alive I'd slap you with my own pair of white gloves.
  19. I have been tempted in the past to "negotiate" with an escort over rates, but have been concerned that perhaps the escort will give a half-hearted performance if he feels he is being short-changed by the client. Have people found any difference in "quality of service" when they have negotiated a lesser rate with the provider?
  20. Ah, beautiful Mostar and its charming bridge, where tourists used to (maybe still do?) encounter beautiful young men who, for a few dollars, would jump into the water below for your entertainment. Concerning Comrade Trump skipping the visit to the WWI cemetery: they said he missed due to "light rain" (even though he often golfs in the rain) - but my theory is that he had a flair up of his BONESPURS which often occurs when he hears the words "combat" or "military service."
  21. "You may want to get rid of these before Melania gets back."
  22. How about a compromise?
  23. Bob Wiley: [to himself] ... baby steps get on the bus, baby steps down the aisle, baby steps... From movie "What About Bob?"
  24. There are still lots of people in South Central who go out late at night (some with masks on) looking for both "tricks" and treats.
  25. If you are "out and proud" what is the question? How to hide being "out and proud" in China?
