I guess the common theme with escorts becoming regulars with me are:

Friendly, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, appear happy to see me
    we have good chemistry
they don't treat me like an ATM or make me feel taking for granted
they minimize cell phone usage when with me / give me their attention

Second side of the coin, top 10 reasons I won't repeat:

    10) A one hour massage lasts 40 minutes at best.
    9) Whenever any escort announces I have 5 minutes left or a timer goes off.
    8) A stone wall forms around the escort after climax.
    7) They won't do the things they list as likes in their profile.
    6) They are 10 years older than their pictures.
    5) When I show up, they don't remember a single thing we discussed ahead of time.
    4) Escorts that request up-front payment.
    3) Escorts that show up stoned.
    2) Their room, or their person is filthy.
    1) The escort cannot even sort of pretend to be glad you are there.

The one time I really became regular, the escort made me feel like a friend.

    - He was excited to see me.
    - He never rushed anything.
    - If he kept time, I have no idea how. I always left of my own free will.
    - There was never a hard stop after a climax; instead, he usually insisted I lay back down and hang out.
    - A few times, when he didn't have other plans before or after, he wanted to hang out and grab a meal without ever asking me to pay for extra time. I sometimes did anyway and always bought his meal.

I'm convinced that he not only referred to his clients as friends, but that is how he actually saw them. In his profile, he said his job was to make you forget it was a business transaction, and nobody does a better job.

Gaining regulars requires a lot of work... at least in my case, and most guys simply can't or won't make the investment. Even in my business, which has nothing to do with this, the best regular clients are the ones who see and trust you as a friend.

Sorry if I was unclear. Absolutely, asking the question is fine, but leave out the actual participants. (just my opinion) It doesn't bring any real value in potentially hurting someone's livelihood over this.

My take (I realize with the benefit of reading about what happened).

You should have just stuck to 4:30p and not sent that additional text.
He should have handled the communication much better.
You should NOT have publicly called him out on this. It's not like he did something terrible like rip you off or hurt you.

I might think twice as a hypothetical client about hiring an escort if I knew he communicated like this. But I definitely would not want you as a client if I was a hypothetical escort after the shameful behavior you have demonstrated taking this minor disagreement public.

down_to_business got a reaction from jtwalker in Would you tell your provider that you know his real name?
Nothing good can come from lifting the anonymity veil if even one side doesn't want it. Sometimes it's better to just keep things to yourself. Your companion will let you know when (or if) there is a time he wants you to know his real name.

I usually let the provider set the pace for disclosure of PII (personally identifiable information) if it is someone I plan on seeing more than once. Building mutual trust over a long term association is healthy for both parties. I have come to share real names, addresses, phone numbers, birthdays and a host of information with my closest escorts.

Following that thought, why do you think there are plenty of review sites where service providers are reviewed in the general business world ( i.e. lawyers, doctors, restaurants, lawn services, plumbers etc.) but not of businesses publishing reviews of their customers.

Saw him once many years ago. Probably wouldn't repeat, but just a chemistry/miscellaneous issue(s). Was a nice enough guy.

I didn't really get that far. My experience was when setting an appointment a few days in advance with exact date and time his reply was only something along the lines of "yes, that should work for me". I couldn't get anything more definite out of him.

So to be clear, with Hogan you suggested a meet and it was never agreed to? With all of the back and forth posting, it could be misread as you saying you had a confirmed date/time and that he bailed without (adequate) notice.

For the record, Andrew K cancelled on me too... however in his defense he effectively communicated with me including giving me a valid reason. Nothing about my experience with him left a negative impression. That does not appear to apply to Hogan/Grant.

When I met him, it was Jacob_top. The advertised height is about right.
I have seen a previous ad where he was offering duos with SteveL as well, but I only saw him alone.

Briefly interacted with him a while back. Tried to set something definite, but got the vibe that I would have to be nuts to drive 3-4 hours and get a hotel to meet(i.e. he'd flake). Reading this thread, I feel completely validated.

Saw him in Vegas when he had a different name. Pics are accurate, he showed up, satisfactory experience.

You are right about this. It leans towards negative, but there can be valid reasons for such a change. Personally, it is not disqualifying, but it comes with additional due diligence imho.

At 65 I am required to enroll in a specified Medicare Advantage Plan by my employer coverage.. so I really don't have an option to choose.. although I have heard nothing negative from others I know who are enrolled.

That one is James Maslow. The one on the left is Carlos Pena-Vega; he also participated in DWTS in the same season as his wife.

I liked Big Time Rush -- both the TV show and their music. Oh, and the cute guys. I thought they were all cute in their own way.

I didn't like McFly's music, but I did like the naked photoshoot they did...especially the one on the left.

Individually, it's Ashley Parker Angel of OTown. I saw him play Link in Hairspray on Broadway. Meeting him outside the stage door, he was so hot.
