Everyone paints their nails nowadays. I don’t count it as fem anymore. We chatted via text a couple weeks ago…set an appointment. He cancelled a hour before with an upset stomach. I’ll still try again…he’s that good.

It amuses me that we simple humans attempt to control the length of our daylight.

I watched it last…really enjoyed it. Re: the original- I saw it with a group while in the 8th grade, I’ve owned it on VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, etc. a classic, no doubt. But the 2021 version is spectacular in my mind. The dancing, the dialogue back/forth Spanish/English, cinematography, Spielberg’s opening scene of the demolition of the neighborhood, all got me. it’s fine to opine on the original being “better”….but if you haven’t watched 2021 all the way through I’d have to listen to but discount your opinion.

There was at least one early attempt by HooBoy to have a message board. He opened up some software, and didn’t have moderators. We must remember HooBoy had limited IT skills 😉 The attempt at a forum I’m thinking of was mayhem/anarchy (and spam) No rules, regulations. One particular nasty exchange I remember was a client accusing a well known porn performer provider of giving him “crabs”. With no moderation to speak of - it was a a mess with both the provider getting into it with the poster…and Vice versa. Somewhere along the line Bill got involved and that first board was shut down, and another more moderated forum followed. There may have even been another iteration of board software before Bill landed on Xenfro and stayed there. We’ve come a long way. Please feel free to comment if my history here has errors.

I recently reached out to Cyrus aka “bossy_bttm” on day #1 of a 4-5 day trip to North San Diego county, he was listing San Diego as his present location on RM. He replied on day #5 this morning as I was driving back home, and quoted $500. I replied he’d missed my visit, he said “next time”. On RM messaging he replied “I’m in Seattle” so I’m not sure which is truth. San Diego or Seattle? 🤷🏻‍♂️
