my first instinct was to assume that there was something "sketchy" about me... you know - that i look like one of those persons you move away from on the subway - but i did a real reality check on myself and i think i come off as pretty normal... and then some (my ridiculous politics notwithstanding....) and, i am not a clinician, but i wonder if some of his bizarre personality traits and weight gain have to do with his being medicated for something - just a guess. he did do something memorable... i remember from the moment i arrived he seemed incapable of making any sort of eye contact - that in itself is troubling... but WOW this one goes down as one of the stories I will tell when people ask me what my worst/most bizarre experiences with guys have been!

he is... until you meet him!

Under NO circumstances should anyone even consider contacting this guy! I had set something up with him yesterday (his place is not far from where I work....) and although I got a strange vibe from him during text messages I just wrote it off as perhaps a language issue. His pics were hot, his ad was good, his reviews strong. But it got weirder and weirder - he texted me a few times during the day to confirm and re-confirm, he complained about guys who want to have sex with him and shortchange him.... but i appreciated that he re-confirmed with me - the latest being about an hour before the scheduled time. And then things went SOUTH - and in a major way. He is NOT the guy in the pics... or if he is, it is many years and many pounds different from the guy who opened the door. And he has this weird "socially awkward" (i.e., emotionally disturbed) vibe... I was thinking how do I cut my losses... but then: after he asks me to remove my shoes, he tells me that he is not feeling well and needs to postpone the massage. (Dodged a bullet, yes.... but what a TOTAL ASSHOLE to pull a stunt like that!) Long story short - THIS MAN IS THE PLAGUE... avoid him.

Why would you block a potential client?

what's a profile for, if not to be viewed??? -

you are probably correct, YoungAD, but why would someone want to after all that went down? (just to satisfy a curious urge, perhaps?) -

my RM profile is generous with information -- text and otherwise -- about me... i have been blocked by some guys because i went back to book them the day after i looked at their profile. i feel the better that i did not hire someone so sketchy as to do such a thing! -
i was also reluctant to email... but then i realized that there is a generational thing here - even my students rarely use email any more - it's all about texting in one form or another - so i am getting with that program

it is incredibly convenient to my place of work so i have been strongly considering a visit - any words of advice? thanks!!
-
I approached him once (and likely will again) but he directed me to his online booking system - which, while an understandable and efficient decision on his part (i guess) - somehow was a bit of a turn off to me.....
-
wow... i am in love with him now!

Most of the places I know are in Quezon City but I am checking with my local friends to see if there are any places more convenient to Makati to

beats me... but i do have a recollection of it once being interesting and valuable!

I have spent much much time in Manila.... the situation there changes rapidly - clubs come and go.... neighborhoods come and go... bars come.... well, you get the idea Where are you staying? Manila is HUGE.... and, I must sadly say, security can be a concern in that truly wonderful city1

There is an NYC escort who participates on this forum, not sure if I am allowed to mention @MikeCruiseNYC by name, who answered the door wearing only a smile and who has won my heart forever.

What Are Your NYE Plans - Who are You Having for Dinner?
nynakedtop replied to Bearofdistinction's topic in The Lounge
i usually do a crispy skin duck breast and take advantage of the duck fat to crispy-cook thin potato slices.... but this year a special request for crispy pork belly with a sweet-spicy thai chili sauce. when it's 8 degrees outside in NYC it is nice to be at home! -
i am always happy to respond to PMs, even though sometimes i am unforgivably tardy in doing so... recently after i posted a word about a less than wonderful situation with a provider, i received many requests for information which i responded to appropriately. one person, however, gave me pause as he repeatedly asked for an extremely detailed recounting of just what went on between the escort and me.... so detailed that it truly made me suspect that someone had an .... shall we say ... agenda, and that i was being used to further it. going forward i will be more circumspect as to what i will say, and to who.... (this has no impact, of course, on the many good people here i regularly engage in chats with!)

i will not violate the rules of this forum, but i will give a one word preview.... "underwhelming"

would not repeat - review in the works.

after reading the text, i did not bother looking at the pictures.

my understanding is that he does much much more than massage.... any first hand experience?
-
pity - his ad places him very close to my place of work and i was about to contact him... only thing that held me back was the lack of any really meaningful photos on his ad... now i guess i have a second reason, yes?

Hong Kong/Thailand/SE Asia 1st Time Visit

Grab was particularly helpful on trips to and from the airport - door to door service is particularly welcome when one is carrying luggage in hot, humid, congested Bangkok! -
Hong Kong/Thailand/SE Asia 1st Time Visit

I agree with much of what Rick has written.... being someone with very deep roots in Thailand, I still find it a wonderful and fascinating place to visit, stay, live, whatever. The only thing I would add is that if you are willing to tolerate a certain element of "surprise", some pretty amazing things can happen... it is not difficult to find a monthly rental for a vacation apartment that is more than nice for less than $1,000 - and if you are, as I am, happy to live on delicious Thai street food, your daily dining allowance can be less than $10. as Rick said.... "Need more information - PM me", too! -
